Back to the King's Head after a long lockdown. So Glad it has reopened for food again. Slightly reduced menu, but the old favourites were there. We had the Belly Pork and Rump Steak - both were cooked to perfection and with the usual accompaniments. Puddings were the Sherry Trifle and Bakewell Tart and custard. Service with a smile (I'm sure under the masks somewhere)

Our 1st visit for my 50th birthday. Had lot's of good reviews, and they were right. It was steak night, which also had 20% off steak, which was a bonus. The service and food were fantastic. We shared a steak board, and our son had the beef wellington. Steaks cooked to perfection and were super tasty. The steak board had a fillet 8oz, rib eye 10oz and 10z sirloin with two sauces. Absolutely 1st class. The beef wellington was again cooked perfectly. We had the sticky toffee pud with amarula bomb....excellent and a great way to end the meal. A bonus as they had Timothy Taylor Landlord beer which was very nice. Can't wait to go back and try more tasty items off the menu.

We booked a group of 24 for Sunday lunch, and sent in a pre-order a week ahead. Fantastic service, especially for such a big group of us. The food was hot, very tasty, large portions, and exactly as per the pre-order, and also all brought out at the same time. The staff were very friendly. We aren’t local, but if we ever find ourselves in Lincolnshire again we would definitely return.

Absolutely top drawer service from the moment we rang to book! Food was absolutely amazing and all the staff there are warm friendly helpful amd welcoming! The tomahawk was next level! 👌 Best meal we've had out in a long while! Highly recommended!

An interesting lunch time menu. Soup delicious and mains/desserts very good at good value cost at 26 for 3 courses. Evening menu all good and interesting at a slightly higher cost. Service and attention from Landlord excellent. Beer ok..well kept. The pub was however, cold and dark thus lacking atmosphere.

Had a fantastic meal here last night. Having recently changed hands and reopening we wanted to test it out again. It didn't disappoint. The food was excellent, staff were really attentive and the atmosphere was the best I've seen it in a long time. I would highly recommend visiting The Kings Head you won't regret it.

Just had a delicious ribeye steak at The Kings Head - table for four, all different meals, great service, yummy food. Well done to the team at the pub 👍🏼 Called in again Feb ‘23 with a party of eleven for an evening meal. Booked ahead because of the numbers with no issues. Found out that the pub had changed owners six weeks ago, but the standard of food was just as excellent as the previous visit. Had a ribeye steak, cooked to perfection, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her risotto. Top place to eat still 👍🏼

Very noisy, could hardly hear one another talk. Decor could use some work, all the fuse boxes are clumped together on the wall for all to see and it's a bit drab on the paintwork, especially in the WCs. Food portions were very skimpy and lacking. None of our steaks were cooked right. The well done steak was just cremated black on the outside and still pink in the middle. The rest of the steaks were either under or over cooked. Coke was too watered down. Red wine was too cold, not room temp. Desserts were pathetically tiny. I wouldn't eat here again, I left hungry and disappointed.

Fantastic evening. The food exceptional without being over priced. The staff welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely my new favourite place to eat.
