The
third
oldest
tennis
club
in
the
world!
8
tennis
courts,
5
squash
courts
including
2
championship
ones,
gym,
sauna,
upgraded
showers
and
changing
rooms
with
a
comfortable
bar
to
relax
in.
However,
they
have
this
stupid
policy
on
Sunday
evenings
that
if
no
squash
courts
are
booked,
the
club
closes!!
The
membership
fee
is
supposed
to
cover
bar
staff
at
any
time,
including
Sunday
evenings,
so
the
club
should
be
open
through
to
the
normal
Sunday
closing
time
of
10.30pm.
Previously,
members
could
turn
up
just
to
socialise
and
have
a
few
drinks,
playing
as
they
do
on
Saturdays,
or
other
times
in
the
week,
or
even
earlier
during
the
day
on
Sundays.
Now
you've
had
it
if
you
don't
book
a
squash
court!
What
about
if
you
are
a
tennis
player,
not
a
squash
player
and
due
to
local
regulations,
no
floodlit
tennis
courts
are
bookable
on
Sunday
evenings?
You've
had
it!!
I
was
a
member
since
1988,
but
was
not
prepared
to
renew
this
year
(2022)
as
they
seem
only
interested
in
how
much
money
they
can
make,
not
providing
the
service
for
paying
members.
