Extremely poor service. One of my worst experiences was when they booked an appointment for me, I took the morning off work to get to the appointment and when I arrived all the shutters were down and the entire practice was shut. Apparently the doctor decided to work from home home that week and decided not to open up the practice and another member of staff denied they had any record of my appointment which was unbelievable given they told me my appointment time twice. After finally getting on the phone I was met with an apparent lack of empathy from staff. They said they’d book me a telephone appointment and called the completely wrong day that they told me, they don’t respond to prescription queries, the practice itself looks extremely run down. There’s a lack of efficiency and care from this practice and everyone I’ve spoken to about it has had similar or if not worse experience to mine. I personally would avoid if you can and try going elsewhere

Called at 8:00 for a doctors appointment, waited for 40 minutes and my call was not answered, just kept ringing. Poor services like these make healthcare inaccessible and make people less inclined to seek medical help. Other reviews highlight similar issues with waiting times after initiating the call well over 1 hour 30 minutes and still no answer. The surgery manager’s standard reply for some time has been “Our provider is a continual issue that we are trying to resolve.” This is NOT good enough. CQC should be informed, this service is under par and negligent.

Started off at number 13 in the gp appointment queue this morning and gave up 1hr 13 mins later when noone picked up despite being at number 1 for a long time. Called the correct number as I have seen this as a response to bad reviews previously. Shockingly bad service and an average 1.9 rating should be an indicator to management that something is very wrong here. I have previously raised a formal complaint on lost blood samples and was wrapped up in so much red tape and accessing different systems to see responses to my complaint that I eventually just gave up. Strategy seems to be to just wear you down rather than actually accept there is an issue and help.

I'm very surprised by some of these other reviews as I have been fortunate to receive a great service. Something that stood out to me, moving from the south of England is how kind the receptionists are here. I've had a great experience with booking appointments online, the receptionists are very sweet and listen and all of the GP's I've had appointments with have been empathetic and helped with my concerns.

This place as to be Britain's WORST medical centre to try and get in contact with someone nobody can be bothered answering the phones and when you do eventually get in contact with someone they come out with the usual oh we are really busy at the moment yet if you walk into the place there sat there twiddling there thumbs never ever known a place as bad as this speaks volumes when you after drive or walk to the place it's self and go inside to speak with someone in reception and get an appointment or if you want information also my father spoke to a doctor the other day after he called us and he's still waiting for a doctor to sign a prescription he was given by the doctor who phoned him begs the question......why didn't that doctor sign the prescription that's this place summed up COMPLETE AND UTTER JOKE!! Just tried calling this morning for my father to book an appointment guess what still nobody picking the phone to answer and they wonder why people get so annoyed

TODAY (30Mar2023) in the morning 11:00~12:10 noon this Medical Centre gave me a good and warm memory in my life. I experienced an excellent services in skills and caring from a nurse whose name is Donna Brown (District Nurse). From the starting moment I entered her treatment room, she worked diligently serving follow-up professionally on my two wounds near right chest and neck due to small-scale surgery operation last week in another hospital. She firstly clarified over phone calls to the nurses of my previous hospital without giving up easily for seizing an appropriate nursing service to my wounds. Indeed I am grateful to her. She is considerate and kind to her patient like me. She made clear first the suitable nursing procedures and gave care to me in addition to her professional skill♥️.

One receptionist and a manager rude and unhelpful over the phone. Took me another 1 hour to get through to another receptionist who was way more helpful and completely contradicted her unhelpful / rude colleagues.

Absolutely useless, either they make you feel rushed and you can't say what you need to say or you just don't get seen to for about 40 minutes, shouldn't give a time if you don't get seen to for that time And a doctor's having a 2 star google review just sums it up

I'm sorrowful that I needed to move and change my GP office, after only one appointment with Dr. Khan; she was a fantastic help, kind and very open. I wish all the NHS workers were like that. Give her a raise! She deserves it.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a “doctor” and greatest waste of time. Went in for a dermatology appointment, the doctor finally called me back 45 minutes later than my scheduled time. The “doctor” who saw me could not be bothered in the slightest with my physical concerns, he did not examine my skin nor did he listen to my symptoms, experiences or what I’ve tried to treat my condition. He was rude and made no attempt to address my condition or provide any help to me whatsoever. Was extremely patronising and decided my condition was purely psychological (despite other doctors and psychologists saying otherwise). He didn’t even introduce himself so I don’t have his name. If I did I would report him directly. Older, Asian man. Horrible horrible individual, it’s any wonder why people like this go into medicine since he clearly lacks basic care and compassion for his patients. (Edit: I rang the centre a few times to try to get his name and report him however they can’t be bothered to answer the phone and the voicemail is full apparently. Such a joke.)

Rude staff always having an attitude and never really give a good diagnosis or how what we can do honestly they need to sort their attitude out and be more lively

The receptionist named Razia is very rude and always refused to book an appointment and she assumes that she is a doctor and often discusses about the problem of the patient. Every time hold the telephone line minimum 45 minutes

Shocking service. Very rude receptionist every time you ring considering the line of work they are in. Also had to chase my own results this morning because they cant be bothered to, after telling me they had chased them. After a 2 minute call with the MRI head scan clinic, turns out the practise was sent them over a month ago.

After reading the majority of the previous reviews I was expecting to be met with rude staff, however in my personal experience the receptionist and phlebotomist were kind and helpful. One slight concern was that the nurse did not use an antiseptic wipe on my arm before drawing blood.

Not perfect but they’re a good GP on the whole. The receptionists have always been helpful and kind over the phone and in person. The GPs and nurses are all very different people but attentive and ultimately want the best for you. If you’re calling for an appointment yes you do need to wait on the line but I don’t see how it’s different to other GPs in the city. I also appreciate the LGBT posters and certificate! Only thing is my boyfriend has had some trouble before having the right prescription sent over but they did try to rectify the situation ASAP.
