Loved our day out at Wild Shore! Myself, and my two sons aged 14 and 1yrs loved the Aquapark. It's in a lovely setting with great facilities. There's a cafe and clean toilets as well as changing rooms and hand sanitiser readily available.

What a gem of a place - amazing! I know it was a beautiful day, which helps, but this has already made it's way on to my lust of all time favourite places to visit. The staff were all incredibly friendly, even though they were clearly rushed off their feet, and the surroundings and facilities were just spectacular. Love it, and will defo be a regular here.

What a great day out. From wild swimming to Aqua Chimp, Wakeboarding, self launch SUP and kayaks, tubing and the inflatable obstacle course. Along with a cafe. It's very easy to spend a few hours here

We recently invested in our own inflatable kayaks and wanted to take them out. Wildshore was perfect for this with easy launching, free car park not far from the water, picnic places, toilets, cafe, changing rooms should you need them! You can launch from a jetty so you don't even need to get wet if you don't want to. The lake was bigger than we expected and great for a couple of hours to get used to our kayaks. We went on the bank holiday weekend and it was much quieter than we expected! Looks a great place for SUP lessons or hiring a SUP too and other water activities like their aqua chimp and wakeboarding looked great. It was our first time there but we'd definitely go back. Café closed at 6 so take your own snacks/drinks if you're on your water later than then. Although the car park isn't far away just be prepared to carry your SUP/kayak up and then down a steepish incline.

What a fantastic day of water fun for my brother's stag do. The marshalls were all extremely helpful and accommodating and each activity was unique, challenging and most of all fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wanted a unique activity for a birthday, stag do or great day out.

Just brilliant! Our 2 kids (age 10 and 12) did an hour on the aqua park. The booking, on-line waiver, wetsuit and buoyancy aid collection - very smooth. The staff were incredibly friendly. Great facilities toilets, changing and the cafe! Plenty of room to sit and some pre-bookable covered benches. Super Dog friendly too. The kids said it was awesome and could they go again - happy kids, happy parents!

Went for a paddle board lesson, from booking on the website through to meeting the staff to get geared up was so easy and such a good experience, we will definitely come again. The setting is brilliant, great views across the lake, it's very relaxed and super friendly staff, there is a lovely cafe on site, but you can bring you're own and set up a picnic if you wanted. A great way to spend an afternoon, thanks to all the staff for making it what it is.

First time visiting for self-launch Stand Up Paddle board session and very impressed. It's well thought out, plenty off friendly and helpful staff and great facilities. The car park is a little rocky in places and not ideal for inflating your own SUP but next time I'll ask if they have any 12v sockets by the lake for self inflation use.

I had a great time, learning to wakeboard. All the kit is provided - so I only needed my swimming costume and a towel. The instructors were terrific - really positive and encouraging. The cafe is small, but there's plenty of seating outside of it. The food and cakes were nice too. There's lots going on and everyone seemed to be having a great time too.

Great for beginners open water swimming. All facilities great and reasonably priced at £6 including wetsuit! Remember your pad lock for lockers as they don’t accept coins

Great place for family fun. I took 16 and 10 year old girls for their first lake experience. We picked the inflatable aqua park and other than having to put wet, wet suits on they had a great time and overcame a new challenge, the staff are kind, considerate and helpful. We will definitely be returning

My husband and I got Wildshore vouchers for our birthday and decided to use them on the aqua park. It was mid week school term time so there were only adults on our session and it was absolutely brilliant! We had such a laugh and by the end of it my confidence built and built and I'd had a go on everything! Would definitely come again! The staff were super friendly and helpful, we enjoyed a lovely chat with the lady on reception and then the chap supervising us was a star! Encouraging and reassuring us to have a go when we were nervous.

We visited on Saturday afternoon for the Aqua Chimp. We were lucky as we had the course to ourselves with the later time and so so weather. Wetsuit provision is great even if you have your own I’d recommend using there’s because some of the equipment could scuff it. Shoes are a good idea too because you’ll be walking on ropes and doing that bare foot won’t be pleasant. Our instructor, Madeline was absolutely brilliant: and because it was only us went and set us some extra challenges to complete so we didn’t get bored. There’s a lot of satisfaction in completing one of the harder ones. Didn’t conquer the climbing wall or monkey bar though so that’s something to return for. I’d recommend if travelling from a distance booking a few activities and making a day of it.
