Had a lovely couple of hours at this absolute gem of a place. Brilliant collection of birds and the staff are really knowledgeable and more than happy to chat about the birds. Ferris the Harris Hawk is a real show off too. The owners are really welcoming and even took time out to chat with us about our mutual love of African Grey parrots. Overall an absolutely brilliant place with a great team of staff. Definitely worth a visit. We'll be going back again soon no doubt.

Such a lovely day at Wild Wings. The birds were gorgeous and the chap whose name I believe was Ben was so knowledgeable and helpful, as was the lady in the shop. We will certainly be returning and hopefully doing an Experience when these start again.

Great day out, lots of birds to see, plus we even got a peak of a Racoon and to stroke a ferret. Great fun and the kids loved it

I first visited Wild Wings for a bird of prey experience day years ago when they were based in Leigh. I had such a wonderful time, and have been following their work on Facebook ever since. I went to visit them again in the their new premises last weekend in Risley. It's so fantastic to see that after all their hard work and hardship what an amazing space they've built. It was great to see the birds I met all those years ago again (Mumble and Boo) as well as their new additions (Nugget the little owl is a little firecracker!). Everyone who works at Wild Wings is so friendly and will stop what they're doing to come and chat to you about the birds. It's plain to see just how much Ian and Carol care about these beautiful birds and animals. They provide an invaluable service in rescuing and rehabilitating birds for very little in return. They are so passionate about protecting wildlife, it was an absolute joy to see and talk to them again. Keep up the amazing work. We can't wait for our next visit :)

It might have been a cold winter's day but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We even stroked a ferret. The added bonus was meeting Carol-Ann an old school friend who I hadn't met since leaving school. Thank you for taking such good care of these lovely birds.

Great place to visit and really see the birds up close. Lots of information, little quiz to keep the kids amused and really knowledgeable staff who couldn't be better informed. Definitely visit Wild wings and support the wonderful work they do.

Amazing bird of prey experience! Wild Wings is a family-friendly rescue and rehabilitation centre that's open to the public. They do incredible work and have a wide variety of owls, hawks, eagles and other species such as Kookaburras and even several Raccoons. 5 stars!

Brilliant Owl and Birds of Prey centre for rescue and rehabilitation and Education. The staff are friendly and very well informed. It's a great place for kids with friendly ferrets to hold and lots of staff to explain and teach. Really enjoyable to visit. There are displays and private experience sessions to enjoy too. A great present for the Owl Obsessed. There is also a well stocked shop with lots of Owl themed materials for all ages.

Lovely bird rescue center. Plenty of birds to look at, rescued and cared for by the charity. You can see how dedicated the volunteers are, and always approachable for questions. Great cafe and shop. We will definitely be visiting again.

We came to Wild Wings of Prey for an Owl Experience driven by Ian. The experience was so personal and Ian was brilliant at talking through all the owls and teaching me how to handle and fly them. On top of this, all of the other staff were very very friendly and knowledgeable and were happy to spend time talking to us about all the animals. All in all, an amazing experience, and great work these guys do for the birds. We will definitely be coming back !

A lovely little gem hidden away in Warrington. If you've got a bit of time to kill and like birds of prey it's right up your street The place is clean, tidy and well maintained a great selection of beautiful birds to view and learn about. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they have a real passion for what they do. There is also an adorable racoon and ferrets to say hello to as well The site has a cafe and small giftshop. They also offer experience days at a reasonable price. I'd definitely come back for some one on one time with these wonderful animals.
