For anyone keen on viewing wildlife in an unspoilt natural environment, this place is unmissable. Camping here is like living an idyllic dream. I grew almost used to the sound of nightingales and cuckoos , and other rare birds such as turtle doves are also present in some numbers. Storks flap around looking impressive. Deer are everywhere. Everyone here seems to be living the same blissful dream. I know this review sounds totally ott but it really was 'mind blown' for me, and I think it will be for you if you like wildlife as much as I do.

I went on the Regnerative Farm Tour in September 2022. It was a really well planned tour of the farm's current activites, which are experimenting with how to run a regenerative farm business. Impressive how much detail was shared on the business side of things, as well as hearing from both the farmer and farm ecologist on the biodiversity baselining in order that they can measure their effort through both the financials and biodiverisity. Really knowledgable and the introductry presentation and closing slides back in the village hall were really useful framing and context for what they are doing in this part of the Knepp Estate. Also very interesting the range of interest among others attending, from other farmers, environmental orgs and interested individuals. The tea and brownies a very nice addition given the rainy weather too! Note that our particualr tour didn't start at the main Knnep visitor centre, but in a local village hall - so be sure to check the instructions (I didn't!). I then went on the Dusk Safari in July 2023, and although this was a lovely an dinteresting walk, I think it's very overpriced at £60 per person. I'd suggest just doing a self-guided walk, readying the website before so you know what wildlife to look out for, take som binoculars, and use the trails that are sign posted. I'd pay £20 per person, but not £60, it's feels like they are taking the mick a bit really!

Relaxing and peaceful. Camped for 10 nights again. Heard owls, deer rutting, lots of wonderful walks. Tip. Speak to the volunteers. They know the area well and can answer most questions one may have.

Knepp now allow large group bookings onto their pitches. On this occasion there were three very large groups. Lovely people I am sure, but inevitably when you have ten adults all in a group, chairs around the fire, alcohol, then the 'we're here to hear nature' vibe dissipates pretty substantially. There were not any parties, but obviously groups manage to dominate, so when they are in the open kitchen area, you feel like you are invading their space, and when it is time to pack up, they are using six of the wheelbarrows on their own and you have to wait for a long time to get one. There are other sites now which, while not rewilding projects, aren't adjacent to the A24 and the Gatwick flight path, and only allow maximum of four adults per pitch. I'll return as always to view wildlife, but the camping is no longer any good, which is a shame.

Reading the book and visiting made the book more real. I thought the staff in the shop and The coffee van could have been more engaging and friendly. Great place though. Beautiful countryside and love the concept.

Not quite ready for anybody with disabilities. No disabled parking or proper facilities that we could see. We were hungry and had been told it has a cafe by friends but unfortunately at the moment the cafe is a coffee wagon with only sugary snacks in, as far as we could see. However we'll keep an eye on it as I get the feeling they're trying to develop it into more and this is just baby steps into something more. It could be really great if they do. I'd go back to use it as a walker 2 as I think as its great for walkers and nature lovers. It also hosts lots of yoga classes if you like yoga.

Fantastic experience to see what happens when we allow things to return to their wild form. Saw wild piglets bathing in the river, deer, storks nesting and a kingfisher. That was just by walking the paths on the map and asking others on the paths what they were looking at or had seen. A must visit and would definitely go back.

We had a great visit with a group of school children. We saw deer, storks and had a very close encounter with the long horned cows, who are beautiful. Could spend a great weekend here, traipsing around the many footpaths. Will definitely be back.

Camping at Knepp is peaceful, even in poor weather! Great views, walks, and there's always the storks!

We went on a walking wild horse safari with Rina which was amazing. The horses were stunning and Rina was so knowledgable about the whole estate as well as the horses.

If you enjoy this subject (rewilding) then this will provide a good experience for you at a not unreasonable price point. Note that if you do a sunset safari you will need a really good quality camera to get a reasonable photo. You will also definitely need a warm jumper/fleece/coat, as it was cold by the end, even after a fairly warm day in September. A torch is a must, not only for the end of the safari but also find your way to the car park afterwards as there is no lighting

We love this location as a nature lover. It is a walker's paradise with lots of trails with trail-markers. The highlight on this occasion were the nesting storks which we saw many including some in flight. Fantastic sight.

Went for a wild safari. Fantastic guide, Adam, his enthusiasm added to what is a magical place even in the rain. Important work being done here, worth supporting.

Lovely walk through natural heathland, animals a bit hidden away, but seen from a distance. Shop rather expensive, but everything organic.

Great guided "safari " here, saw lots of wildlife and learned about the history of the estate and the rewilding project. Nice refreshments half way through!

Incredibly knowledgeable and humble guide and wonderful encounters with the longhorns, Tamworth's and storks. Plus we heard the nightingales! Amazing.

Wow, we were lucky with the weather. I camped in the field , every evening 2 Dear 🦌would wonder and graze in the campfield, they weren’t bothered by us being around. You can help yourself to a fire pit that they have provided and buy wood at reception. There’s a lovely walk around the estate, where I saw pigs walking around freely and sunbathing in the mud. Small shop in reception with lots of eco friendly essentials ( toiletries) and some food items to make your dinner including pizza making kit for the pizza oven. Daytime there’s a catering van selling coffee and cake for all the walkers and day visitors

We so enjoyed being here! We walked miles, enjoying the flora and fauna and learning about the rewilding project. The highlight was seeing the storks, especially through the telescopes that kindly bird watchers allowed us to use. We also loved the outdoor showers. Fantastic place to stay.

Various marked walks in the park. Only saw the nesting storks circling. Shop for park produce and refreshments. Camping area. Car park for walkers. Really hot day when we visited, may explain why didn't see any other animals. A tramper ( scooter for rough ground)for disabled people would be good.

Totally different experience as it's so open. You can also go on 3 different routes from short to long. It was great to see the storks nesting and with young chicks. Animals are allowed to roam free. Lovely experience.

We came as a university group and camped for the night. Facilities are great, toilets and shower in great condition and the pizza oven is a plus. If buying pizza ingredients from the shop be mindful only the base and tomato is vegan, but there are lots of great meat options. Only a few vegan snacks. The walks were amazing and volunteers so full of knowledge.
