I think we caught the site in a transition. The grassy field was pleasant and we had hook up included for £25 in the Easter holidays. The ladies toilet block was clean but very dated and only one shower was in use. The gents block was being updated and the shower was out of use. The washing up room was modern and looked newly renovated. The staff were friendly and so were the people who I think lived on the site. Very early in the season so there were lots of caravans in storage and not many tourers. Great place for an overnight stop and within easy walking distance of Morecambe beach.

Looks very nice, good flat grassed area. Toilets and showers very clean. Happy to come here again.

Lovely people how run the camp very helpful, some might not like it as at the moment electronic stands are short and showers need upgrade but don't let that put you off it's a lovely tranquil place to stay

Family of 5- children aged 13,6 and 3. We have just returned from 5 days at sunny side camp. What a little hidden gem. We all loved every minute of being there. The children loved the freedom of running round the field playing games, they made friends with the children that regular go and they could not have been more welcoming and friendly, as were all the families. The owners and family were so friendly and from the minute we got there were very helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The site was well kept very clean and tidy and the toilets were immaculate. It is not far from Morecambe, happy mount park, and super markets So glad I found this site and I will 100% be back. Great, friendly site. Recently stayed for 3 nights and the grass pitch, facilities and location suited us well. Ideal for exploring both Morecambe and Lancaster, or further afield. Regular bus service from stop within 10 minutes walk. Owners very approachable and facilities extremely clean. Thanks - will happily return!

We spent 7 days at this site and really didn’t want to come home, it was one of the best camp sites we have ever stayed at, we couldn’t feel more welcome and the whole site was immaculate, including the very plush toilets and showers. The kids loved playing in the field making new friends and there is plenty to do and see around Morecambe too. Massive thank you to the owners for making our stay so good and they really deserve a pat on the back for running such a good site. We will be back stay soon.

I store my caravan here and the owners couldn't be more helpful. They have put a lot of time and effort into improving the site and they deserve to reap the rewards. The toilet and shower areas are very impressive.

We have stayed here a few times every time we come we feel like part of the family everyone is so welcoming, it's dog friendly which is perfect great value for money and the showers are amazing we won't be going to Any other camp site it's perfect there is a shop near by its not too far from the sea front and the pub around the corner is convenient xx

Great site called in to see if they had any availability for a motor home and they could not have been more helpful we go a pitch with ehu on a very well maintained and clean site we will be going back brilliant the owners of the site could not have been more accommodating thanks again len Tanya

Great site called in on the off chance of a pitch the owners were very obliging and sorted us a pitch with EHU the facilities are excellent .short walk to the bus stops for Lancaster and Morecambe.we will definitely be back thanks again see you soon

Stayed for two nights in preparation for getting ferry back to Isle of Man. The site was clean and tidy, with Mr & Mrs Howard being particularly helpful. I noticed some negative comments about the toilet and shower block. I’m glad to say that these facilities have been upgraded and were clean and in good order. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely campsite run by friendly, accommodating people. We had plenty of space on a grass pitch. Very nicely done out toilet & shower block. Great location too & would definitely stay again.

Wonderful family weekend!! A real hidden gem!!! Great site, very clean, lovely family who run this site, always on hand if you need anything. Totally peaceful whilst only being a short stroll to the stunning seafront and all the attractions!!! Big plus they are the only site in the area that welcomes tents. Rare place this!

We had 5 wonderful days at Sunnyside. The site was lovely and well cared for. The owners were equally as lovely, friendly, chatty and nothing was too much trouble for them. Absolutely loved seeing the geese and chickens walking around the site 😀. It is well located to shops, a couple of pubs, the promenade and Heysham. I felt safe whilst at the site and would stay here again. My teenage boys said it was one of their favourite holidays 😎🏖🌞

Sunnyside is a great campsite and storage place for vans near Morecambe. The family are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The storage areas are well laid out with a gravel base and there are security barriers to protect the site. The site has undergone several upgrades with lovely benches dotted about, planters and decorative garden items. The toilet and washing up facilities are in the process of being renovated and look set to be excellent. We’ll worth a stay or even for storing a caravan or motor home safely.

First time away in motorhome so decided to go to Sunnyside as had been many years before, so glad we did, a great campsite which has everything you need and walking distance from the prom, owners Bill and Michelle can't do enough for you and nothing is a problem to them , will definitely be going back in the future👍

Great place to camp. We're a party of 7, in 3 seperate tents and the owner saved a great spot for us so we could all pitch together. Great friendly atmosphere and the owners and owners daughter is always on hand if you need any help. Short walk to the nearest pub if you don't fancy cooking at camp. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks for being so welcoming .

Just got back having been up to watch the football.. lovely site will definitely return. No idea why there is any bad reviews, we’ve camped all over the country and this sites up there with the best of them. Friendly owners, very clean, ideal for kids as there’s plenty of space to play, and only 5 minute walk from the ground.. Didn’t notice a shop nearby so stock up because once you’ve had a few beers I’d imagine it’s a fair walk to get stuff.

Very rude very unhelpful no politeness at all would never book there lots better campsite with more experience

Hannah and I stayed here during our cycle of the coast of Britain, having a fantastic experience! We turned up after a long day cycling to find two kind and welcoming hosts who listened to our story before finding us a great spot to pitch the tent. This is the first campsite that I've been to that felt so family orientated. In the morning the owners headed round and talked to everyone which I thought was amazing!! Thankyou for our stay :)

There are very friendly owners , if you are finding somewhere to camp I definitely recommend sunny side campsite, This is my 3rd year camping at sunny side, the toilets are very clean they also have a room where you can go wash your pots. very great campsite

Loved this site the owners were friendly and informative, the toilets and showers were clean even though a little dated. Pitches were large and flat and well kept,we were visited by the ducks and geese which wonder around the site.one last thing it's only a 15 to 20 minute walk to the sea front and5 to 10 minute walk to the local pubs and restaurants what more can you ask for.

Just got back from an absolute amazing weekend at this little gem of a place. The owners and their daughter are such lovely people, absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them. Thanks a million for a great stay we'll definitely be back with our playlist you approved of, you can't beat the 80s haha

We have just come back from are second time of 4days camping in a month. An amazing little site all staff and campers realy nice and friendly felt like part of the family kids an adults didn't want to come home. Nice clean toilets an showers a nice little room to wash your pots nice to see members of staff walking round checking if everything is OK an just haveing a chat an a laugh. Can't wait to go back soon xx

We have just spent the weekend , at this campsite and we will definitely, be back. The family who run this site are lovely and very helpful . We arrived late and in the dark, they waited for us and could not be more welcoming.. Furthermore, it’s in a great location , it’s about a 30 min walk into Morecambe . They have good storage facilities on site I have my caravan on site very secure as there is a warden on site 24/7 family are absolutely friendly nothing is to much I loved talking to the owners as they are charismatic and work hard to keep everything up to scratch would recommend this site to everyone
