Visited the Chilli Farm for afternoon tea and a tour of the chilli farm. Overall it was a great experience. Joanna who is the owner of the farm and our guide for the tour was really informative and has a real passion for chillies. After a short talk about the various variety of chillies, we had a sampling session in the cafe of various chillies, chilli sauces and marmalades, starting from the mildest up to the hottest…the Carolina Reaper! There was plenty of milk on hand should you need it! Afternoon tea was lovely, a variety of sandwiches all made with various chilli based sauces and marmalades. Would certainly recommend for an afternoon out.

Fantastic little gem of a place. Warmly welcomed by owners Shawn and Joanne. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic for their passion on Chilli's. I took my child who has special needs and they could not have been any more welcoming. Spent time to have conversation and gave a little education. I would highly recommend a visit especially if you dare to taste the hot chilli's. They have a nice selection of chilli's to choose from. Just advise that parking is small but don't be put off. I'll definitely be visiting them again as they have won me over with their warm welcome and politeness. The jar in photo is a sauce I made with my son including the Carolina Reaper. 🔥 🔥 🔥 Keep it up 👍🏻

The chilli growing workshop today was informative and very practical. I feel fully equipped to grow my own batch of chillies this year and hopefully successfully overwinter for another year. Thanks for the scotch bonnets we repotted and were allowed to bring home with us. I highly recommend any of the experiences available. Its was a great way to spend an afternoon learning how to grow chillies, doing some practical exercises as well as tasting freshly picked range of chillies and delicious sauces which are also sold at the shop.

An excellent place for all chillaholics. The people who run it are very friendly, helpful and not at all pushy. The plants are very reasonably priced. They also offer chilli tours. The shop has samples available of the bottles and jars of sauces, pickles & relishes so you can try before you buy. The Pallet Cafe offers a variety of freshly cooked food, cream teas and fish & chips on a Friday. Definitely worth a visit 🌶🌶🌶

Loved it from beginning to end, deserves more than 5 stars ! Went on the chilli tasting tour for two. Shaun the owner gave us a very informative talk on how to grow chillies from seed, then we had a tour of the farm and picked our own chillies. After that we went into their shop, tried their huge range of sauces followed by chilli tasting, from mild to hottest in the world! After that we had some amazing food in the restaurant. Definitely going back.

Got bought a chilli tasting session for my birthday. So turned up at edible ornamentals, the place was easy to find straight off a main road. The parking was ample. Can't remember the chaps name but nice American fellow who conducted the tour. The guy was very knowledgeable gave a good talk and was happy to answer any questions you may have, and give good advice. We tried a selection of chillies, milk was on hand lol. We also tried a range of jams and sauses . I really want to get a scorpion chilli there was none available so I was given a few pods. Really impressed, definitely worth a treat for someone's birthday who's into chillies.

If you're a chilli fan, make sure you come here for a browse. Amazing variety of plants you won't find anywhere else and very tasty jars of relish, honey and sauces 👍

Visited Jo and the team at Edible Ornamentals at a charity evening for the Beds & Northants M S Therapy Centre. There was a good selection of chilli infused food from mild to something for the heat seekers among us. Once dinner and drinks were finished we were invited into the greenhouse where Shaun gave a very educational and informative talk about chillies, then onto chilli chutney and raw chilli tasting with Oily, who knows his onions, or should I say chillies. Overall a very good evening, lots of fun and very educational. I would say it's a must visit if you like chillies. Thank you to the whole team for a great evening.

Had a fantastic time on the ‘Cooking with chillies made simple’ workshop. The owners were very knowledgeable, open and friendly. There was plenty to do on the workshop and we had a lovely day out. All in all great experience and I learned a lot. They also sell chilli plants and sauces on site which is really handy, including their own home grown sauces from their own chilli harvest. I only wish I turned up sooner so I could relax in the café, not to worry as I’ll definitely be revisiting at some point.

My father and I enjoyed a great experience with Shawn in the 'Cooking with Chillies Made Simple' class. Not being from the area, and looking for something different for my dad as a Christmas gift. I spoke with Shawn before booking about the experience and he was super helpful in guiding me to find the best experience as a gift. The experience itself was incredible. Shawn was great, giving lots of interesting chilli knowledge and guiding us through making some simple (but effective!) recipies. Both he and Joanne were very welcoming, and friendly, and we will no doubt be back for a visit to take part in another experience. Thanks, Shawn, for a wonderful time!
