When we decided upon a major garden makeover one of the key questions was who to entrust with our project. We chose OGD and were delighted we did so. From initial site visit to completion we found the team to be friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We would unhesitatingly recommend.

The team at OGD created a most beautiful show garden designed by the lead designer Jamie Langlands and I was delighted to be commissioned to photograph it for them. The garden was beautiful. As photographers we get to spend some real focused time on the gardens we get to photograph and the details and finish on this one were exceptional. You don't have to just take my word for it though because it won a RHS Gold Medal, Best Show Garden, Best Construction and Peoples Choice award. The team were a pleasure to work with throughout.

I contacted 3 companies to give me a quote for a small project. 1 came but never sent a quote. 1 made 2 appts to visit and didn't turn up for either. Oli from ogd turned up on time emailed the quote the next day. The chaps that did the work started early and worked really hard on the hottest week of the year. It turned out better than I had hoped would 💯 use this company again.

We used Oxford Garden Design to design and build our new patio. They have a big team which combines different specialities, each very good at what they do. They worked together to transform the back of our house into a much more pleasant and usable space. OGD is a professional company. They have the expertise to consider all aspects of a project – from planting to drainage, and the project management infrastructure to deliver on time, keeping you informed along the way. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Very pleased overall with the service and attention to detail we received from Oxford Garden Design during the whole process from concept to completion of the finished garden which we are thrilled with. Sheena visited initially to speak with us about what we wanted from our garden and spent a good deal of time with us. Josh was allocated as our garden designer and he again spent time talking everything through with us before presenting his design which we loved straightaway but tweaked in a couple of places, after discussion. He really cared about what we wanted. Oli costed everything up and ensured they were able to deliver the concept on budget. Special mention to Alberto and Louis who worked so hard on the landscaping and are an absolute asset to this company especially when communication fell a bit short from the office. We wanted to improve the structure and planting in our small garden without making significant changes to the existing hard landscaping. Daniel's design is beautiful and works really well. We used Oxford garden design to landscape the garden of our new build house. We loved getting involved in the whole process and was surprised as to how the company had customer care and project managers that helped us through the project and solved any minor problems that came up during the project (I like to change my mind!) this was such a big deal to us and a good few weeks of disruption, but the guys working in the garden were lovely and kept everything fairly clean, even the children got involved in planting with them. I Would definitely use these again and would most definitely choose a design next time as this probably would of made things a little better! Price was a little higher than some of the smaller local companies but I can safely say it was worth it. Thanks to the whole team both in the office and on site.

The team from Oxford Garden Design were great. The admin side around quoting and invoicing was first rate as was organising a start date. The team on site were friendly, neat and tidy and efficient. We're really happy with all aspects of the job including the quality of the work and heartily recommend the firm.

We’ve attempted several times over the years to get our overgrown Leylandii ‘hedge’ lowered in height without leaving an unsightly brown top, but all past attempts left it looking ragged and uneven. That was until we asked for help from Oxford Garden Design! John and Phil turned up yesterday as promised and did a wonderful job (despite the pouring rain and biting cold). They not only managed to successfully lower the hedge without leaving dead growth exposed, but to make it look much less imposing, thereby changing the whole feel of our back garden into something much more sympathetic - and neighbourly too - and to create, for the first time ever since we moved in 11 years ago, a truly straight line that follows the slope of the garden. They tidied up wonderfully afterwards, and were polite, responsive and totally professional, but happily friendly too! We have nothing but praise for them and their work, and would unhesitatingly recommend OGD and its services to others.

We used Oxford Garden Design to re-design a pond area. Jamie listened carefully to what we wanted and came up with a concept we love and which we would never have thought of without design help. We could not be more delighted with the finished result and cannot thank Paul and his colleagues enough for their superb realisation of Jamie’s concept. Paul also did a wonderful of job of keeping us updated with what was happening when, so the project has been a joy from start to finish. We will most definitely use Oxford Garden Design for our next garden project.
