My new favourite restaurant in town! Gotta love the authentic taste of Hong Kong they serve... They come in abundant portions and affordable prices. Lovely staff, bright and comfortable seating area. Perfect place for a meet-up with friends!

I spent over 4 years in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 and my wife is Cantonese so when she found this place we had high hopes. The food overall did not disappoint to bring back those familiar tastes and nostalgia. Still that being said you can see that the food was partially westernised. Still it was a lovely lunch meal, so much that we came back the next day.

The cafe is sparkly clean and cozy. Hong Kong style dishes are recommended. Warm services, delicious food with good value. 平靚正！

We ate here for my birthday. It was the best Chinese food we have ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The service was excellent. It will now become our go to take away even though we’d have to drive to get it quite a distance… it was that great!

Hands down the best Chinese I've had in years. Everything was fresh, hot and so tasty. The food was not greasy or overly salty. It was delivered early by a really nice guy. Thanks so much for an awesome meal!

Authentic Hong Kong food with a huge vegan menu. We couldn't decide what to get as everything sounded so good. I would recommend their salt and pepper squid - the batter and level of saltiness was on point. We ordered through their online ordering system and was able to pick up right on time. Generous portions as well.

authentic Guangdong or Hong Kong Style cuisine. recommended Satay beef vermicelli, seafood tofu pot, iced lemon tea....real hk taste. French toast with ice cream is fusion Style but the toast with syrup is superb. staffs are nice too.

Fantastic vegan-friendly Chinese Hong Kong place. They have a big vegan section on their menu as well as meat and vegetarian options, and we had a couple things off that and fried rice. The portion sizes were really substantial, and me and my partner eat a lot! The quality and range of food also couldn't be faulted and the people are very nice. I've had a takeaway and a dinein meal here and would be well up to go again.

This place is round the corner of where I used to live and I have to say, the café serves great food at cheap prices and large portions! I love going here with my friends and the staff are so attentive and friendly. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try some light Chinese/Chinese fusion dishes (definitely try the peanut butter French toast, very rich but decadent!)

What a great find by my partner! We went there to celebrate my partner’s mum’s birthday and what a great choice that was. The food was absolutely amazing and everything was done to perfection! I do recommend the king prawns in the black bean sauce and the duck in ginger and oyster sauce. Perhaps living in Cardiff for sooo long I grew complacent in thinking that there is not a lot that can so positively surprise me (or maybe this is the lack of going out events due to children😜🤣), but this is an absolute little gem of a place on the Cardiff’s “foody” map👍 Amazing food, great service and a very friendly owner. Would definitely recommend if you want some Chinese / Hong Kong dishes👍

Ordered online for the first time. Allowed an hour to prepare and cook the food. We had a 20mins drive to pickup. Food was ready on time. Portion sizes were just right. As we are vegetarian, we had lettuce wraps, followed by sweet & sour vegan chicken balls, crispy beef, fried rice and noodles with and added mushrooms...all cooked perfectly. Would recommend In Cafe Cardiff. We will definitely be back again.

Best vegan Chinese I've ever had!! In fact, I would say the best Chinese I've ever had for that matter (including the ones I had within my meat-eating times). What a gem!! Will definitely re-visit whenever I get back to Cardiff.

Fantastic Hong Kong inspired menu that caters for all tastes. The vegan menu is extensive and everything is freshly prepared. Grace will greet you warmly and ensure you are well looked after. If you are looking for great food as authentic as possible then this is the place for you. I will be going back many times.

Had a nice meal. Singapore fried rice and Hong Kong spring rolls were very nice. So was the beef and spare ribs in peking sauce. Service was attentive. Can get very cold if sitting close to the door. Have a separate vegan menu.

Since Wok to Go went from Birchgrove, been looking for a consistently good Chinese and I think we may have found one. Definitely want to go again, honey ribs particularly good.

dishes we had included the beef hor fun, mapo tofu, satay beef w vermicelli- all delicious. also had some peanut butter french toast as recommended by the waitress and it was great!! waitress was lovely and attentive and there was a nice ambience in the cafe- will be returning in the future.

Man I’m sure this place is quite good on a less busy night but this was pretty disappointing. After having this place hyped up to me for ages as “the best place for vegan Chinese food ever”, me and my boyfriend finally ordered. - was late by like 2 hours - his vegetarian fried rice turned up with real pork - my vegan fried noodles arrived with rice instead of noodles and egg The chips we had as a side were pretty rubbery.. I’m sure if the orders weren’t messed up it would be better though, hence the three stars. Willing to give another try x we’re very hungry :((

Truly the best takeaway, there's nowhere in Cardiff I'd rather eat. Their vegan options are just incredible, so many choices and everything I've had so far has been amazing.

Best vegan chinese ever! We were looking to eat out in Cardiff and came across this place. Unfortunately they were having some work done so we couldn't dine in, but we were so impressed by the menu that we decided to get takeaway and we were so glad we did! Everything we ordered was delicious, but the vegan Singapore fried rice was especially amazing! We are now considering moving to Cardiff, unless In Cafe would consider delivering to England? 🙏🙏🙏
