A quaint little garden centre offering something a little different to the usual big name places that are all pretty much the same. The choice is limited but what it lacks in merchandise it makes up for in other areas. The layout and quirky style jumps out at you, the animal pens and area for the goats is great. We visited the cafe, the staff were super polite, the choice was just right it tasted nice and the price was reasonable, very clean in there too. We will be returning with the grandson as he’ll love seeing the animals. October 30th and no Christmas decorations or artificial trees for sale. I’m not sure if this is something they don’t do or we were just too early.

I treated my mum to an afternoon tea in a summerhouse with my sister too. All I can say is WOW! The food was amazing. Superb value for money at £15.99 per person. Staff were friendly and efficient. There are plants to buy, water features, gift shop, a few animals to see too. For a small garden centre it was perfect. Well done to all! Highly recommend.

My mum brought me here for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I had no idea about all the animals so what an amazing surprise! Staff were really nice, had a good chat about bearded dragons and the parrots. Staff in the small clothing shop were lovely and helpful too!

Really nice medium sized garden centre. You also get a lovely restaurant serving very nice food. Plus you get to see a variety of animals too. A very nice way to spend a couple of hours.

We just had breakfast with Santa here, it was brilliant, very good Santa! The food was yummy. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, they are a credit to the place. Thank you 👍

Strange little garden centre - not a huge range of outdoor plants and no indoor plants at all that I could see. More of a pet shop - rabbits, birds, fish, even goats and ducks out the back. Very unusual to see a garden centre being used for holistic sales of stones, joss sticks and even a fortune teller with a crystal ball?! The cafe was run by very young staff, which is fine until there’s an issue - they took some time to sort out an issue with food not being in stock but they’d taken payment for it, then only brought out one instead of two that I had paid for, then had to query again whether I’d actually paid for two of the items. They were all very polite though and it was sorted in the end but it shouldn’t have been that difficult. All in all I wouldn’t return because the food is overpriced and, in my opinion, it’s not really a full garden centre. Updated: I appreciate the owner has responded but I have to say I’m afraid this garden centre just isn’t a patch on the ones near me in Essex. They have a much larger selection of outdoor plants, trees and garden ornaments, despite being around the same size. The food wasn’t as nice as we’ve had elsewhere, panini were fine but the sausage rolls and chips weren’t very nice I’m afraid. I was looking for something artificial to leave at my grandparents grave but I couldn’t see anything like that. It might suit some, but we wouldn’t return.

Lovely garden centre with lots of choice, A wide variety of animals who look very well cared for and happy, some available to purchase and some for customers enjoyment including a resident black cat who made my day when she crossed my path! All the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Popped into the tearoom, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Great variety of food including vegan and gluten free options. They host a lot of great events, the most recent being a spiritual fair which was very enjoyable. Will definitely visit again soon!

Popped in after attending the car boot sale at Holcott. Plants were limited in stock I guess due to bedding plants comming soon . Some stock was good value. We loved the animal enclosures and if had more time we would have popped into the cafe area for a cuppa. May be next time... A good display of sheds and summer houses including kids Wendy houses etc..

Went and got 2 rabbits, lovely place to take the kids so they can look at the animals. The young girl and the man on the till were lovely people who engaged with us the whole time. Fabulous service, would definitely recommend going there.

Limited garden plant selection along with a range of hens! Competitively priced tearoom and comfortable seating with friendly team to look after you. Hand car wash alongside, so get the car cleaned while you browse!

We went to see what was on offer at the craft fair on 29 April. There were a few stalls, we strolled around the garden centre and found a limited selection of plants, flowers. Frankly a little underwhelming. On the other hand the café was pleasant, clean and serves a good variety of coffees and tea, baked goods and light meals. It's a nice place to spend some down time with family.

Great staff, nice place to visit with the family, really enjoyed the seeing cute animals, feeding the goats, the beautifully decorated Tearoom and delicious cake…all while my car was being cleaned!

Pulled in on the off-chance of a bite to eat. There's a lot stuffed into this garden center. Good café with hot well cooked food, clean and tidy building. Outside however, it's part garden center, part zoo. There are all sorts of birds and chickens, which insidentally made me feel a touch guilty about eating their potential offspring , but I managed to put such thoughts aside as I enjoyed the breakfast. There is even a car wash for those needing it. Give it a try.

Cute little garden center. Has a few animals as well that the kids loved looking at. The tea room is good. Had quite a few gluten free options including scones!

We areregular visitors and especially make use of the fish and pond centre where we always meet with friendly, expert advice and support with the looking after of our tropical fish tank. The garden centre itself is a favourite with our 4 Yr old granddaughter who loves the Troll bridge and all the animals. We love the café and look forward to spending many a happy hour on Christmas visits.

Always nice to visit here. Parking is easy. Includes a garden centre, fish centre, sheds and outbuildings, an area with animals and also a coffee shop. As you go in, there is also a hand car wash place. Not the least expensive place but still worth a visit, and worth supporting local.

Staff are always knowledgeable and can definitely help find you the right fish/thing/medicine. I bought 2 swan mussels for a pond in my allotment today and the guy serving me rejected a few before selecting some for me. It just made me think they cared. Good prices and a large stock for indoor or outdoor fish keeping. Ample parking.
