Amazing little cafe. Spacious seating inside, they have an upstairs section with amazing seating area that is spacious. The quality of the food is 5 star. The amazing couple who own the cafe are super friendly and go the extra mile. Cakes are amazing, coffee is top quality and alot of local buisness use the cafe which is amazing to see. I had the full english that comes with waffles. The food was top quality and delicious. They are dog friendly outside and provide blankets but not inside. I will be back again. Only slight little niggle is the mens toilet, you cant lock the door as their is no handle on the inside and its a little lock thats very difficult to lock. I would look at changing this.

There is plenty of space to sit. Especially outside on a beautiful day, it is very inviting. Would recommend it here while walking about the shops. No menu's but I've posted what was on a couple of the boards. Service didn't take long, and this place was fairly busy. Latte is from a proper machine 👌 I ordered their biggest breakfast (see pictures) 6 piece breakfast, fairly priced and food came in no time at all. The scrambled egg was spot on, bacon was spot on, and the waffle was a unique touch. I couldn't really say anything bad about the food. The sausages weren't mushy inside, not stingy on the butter with the toast. Give credit where credit is due. Very nice place

Lovely cafe, generous portions and a good choice of foods and coffee. Definitely not a greasy spoon. Friendly staff and great cosy atmosphere. Coffee was very syrupy and a but sweet for me but otherwise perfect

Great cafe with friends welcoming staff and gorgeous cakes, especially todays rhubarb and ginger slice. The recently refurbished toilets are lovely. Best cafe in Wakefield.

Popped in for breakfast, great place ordered the scrambled eggs and salmon on toast, presented beautifully, warm friendly staff great little place. Little touches like the blankets outside makes it cosy to still be able to sit out enjoy some autum sunshine..

Had a lovely chicken and warm - American style thin and crispy - bacon salad here. It was a good portion and a proper meal size. It was accompanied by a nice dip as well. There is plenty of seating inside and out. The staff were helpful as well. The cafe is a very short walk from the cathedral and shops. Would definitely go back again.

Couldn't be faulted. Busy Sunday afternoon and no tables downstairs, with a pushchair upstairs wasn't the best option. Luckily someone was going and freed up a table. Staff polite enough (but busy) and a nice atmosphere. Had the cheese toastie and chicken and bacon sandwich. Clearly very good quality and tasted great. Good sized portions and cakes lovely. Will definitely return

Came here today with my <1 year old girl. The 6 piece breakfast was great and they offered to do a mini portion of scrambled eggs for my daughter at a reduced price which was excellent and the staff were lovely and friendly. Lovely atmosphere, nice to sit inside and relax. Would come back here again.

Wonderful staff, lovely coffee and a delicious selection food, baked treats and snacks. Can be a little bit slow at busy times but definitely worth the wait :)

What a lovely independent coffee shop. Lovely friendly staff, who were so cheerful and warm. Coffee was excellent. Cheese and Ham Toastie was superb, generous with the ingredients. Cakes looked amazing. The place was really busy, while the chain coffee shop next door was empty! Spotless toilets! Outside seating too. Right next to the Cathedral.

I met my boyfriend in this café almost two years ago so my opinion may be a little biased but I really love this place. I'm a big fan of supporting local businesses and I think this place is a good example as to why. The food is great and reasonably priced, the staff are lovely, the coffee is nice, great atmosphere and it's in a good location.

Nice little family run cafe. Good selection of drinks and cakes. Also a decent lunch menu of panini wraps and sandwiches. Was a relaxed atmosphere. Fairly busy as well. Large amount of outdoor seating as well as two floors inside. Very friendly and welcoming. Will visit again.

Decent but not excellent. Coffee was burnt and toasty didn't have much flavour. Really nice service though

Nice atmosphere and service, lovely staff. Good coffee too and a reasonable price. The one down side is a couldn't spot anything vegan or dairy free to eat (I'm allergic to milk) but since it's a smaller place I can't really blame them. I just had a black coffee instead. I'd go again for sure l, great place to hang out and catch up since it's not too loud with music like a lot of places.

Found this place by surprise and such a delicious place for breakfast. Food is both well presented and super tasty. The team are welcoming, customer service 10/10. Couldn't recommend enough if you're in Wakefield.

so disappointed. have used this cafe for years. today was my final visit. sausage was undercooked. had to ask twice for table wiping from previous customers. when it was finally done the sanitizer was sprayed next to my food not moved beforehand." is that ok? "I was asked as she walked away leaving the empty sugar packets from the previous customer. it wasn't busy but staff spent more time chatting than doing anything constructive I'm guessing the boss/manager wasn't in today ! I don't mind paying the prices in here, though it's not the cheapest.i do however object when food and service is substandard

There was 4 or so customers and we've always wanted to try this cafe so we popped in hoping to grab a quick sandwich before an appointment. We were told they weren't serving food anymore. This was at 15:50 when they close at 16:30. The cakes/coffee was still available. Just seems daft to stop serving toast/sandwiches and other hot food at least 40 minutes before closing.

Went for afternoon tea and had to bring scones home. Beautiful sandwiches, lovely quiche and gorgeous selection of mini cakes. Unlimited tea or coffee. Amazing service even though it was very busy during our visit. Would definitely return when in Wakefield. Thank you.
