You can buy samples of laminate, refundable when you buy your laminate. What a great service. It's so much easier to make your decision when you can take a bit home and place in your room. Mine is for my kitchen so I can pick the best one that goes with my work top and units. 5 🌟

Bought an item online. Call the customer service to cancel it. The item was later delivered. Called their customer service again, was told someone would contact me to arrange collection, no one ever did.

I am currently fitting a kitchen and a clip for the sink was missing, I rang Wickes who advised they don’t sell separately, but Jack was a star and managed to get me a clip from some damaged stock. Thank you Jack, and thank you Wickes for helping me out.

Good store for your DIY store. It was ashame that one of our items being misprinted on the shelf.

Shocking Experience. BEWARE this company use CPM (UK Car Park Management through the land lord. CPM are nothing but a legal scam to extort parking charges from you. They send you letters demanding payment of £60 - £100 - £120 then send a letter saying they will send a Debt Collector Local To You. (THIS ACTION IS NOT ALLOWED AND CAN ONLY BE ENFORCED - ISSED AFTER COURT JUDGEMENT ) Asked to speak to duty manager regarding this but he wouldn't come out of his office and talk to me just passed the book onto a young checkout assistant. Poor Management Skill. Spend quite abit using TradePro but will never use Wickes again. Other local builders merchants provide the same products and do not hit you with Parking Charges.

Excellent Service. Had a problem with a damaged skirting that had been delivered. Spoke with a gent named Mark at Wickes and he had it sorted straight away, thus helping me to finish the works that I had already started - much appreciated and well done Wickes.

Wickes Wakefield is much quieter, better stocked, cheaper, and has more parking than its closest competitor B&Q. They seem to run on a constant skeleton staff, but if you do need help they’re always happy to assist.

Great, staff were very helpful. Good layout inside spacious making it easy to get around and find the items you want. The car park has easy access with a one-way through.

Staff are more pre,occupied amusing amongst themselves rather than be in the aisles visible to customers. Expensive hardware chain with limited range/value. did I mention poor customer service?

Got to love Wickes, not the cheapest, but not the most expensive and you're not overwhelmed with choice like some of the other sheds.

Very poor customer service; I desperately needed the toilet but despite this, I was told I couldn't use them. It was an exceptional circumstance because I occasionally have issues with my bowels. This didn't faze the woman at the service customer checkout and I was told to go elsewhere. As a thank you, I left a present in the car park. I will never shop at Wickes again. Awful.

Pretty subdued atmosphere but it's hard to make conversation with masked staff. So much stuff on offer that sometimes it's difficult to find exactly what you need. Plenty of car parking spaces and easy access to the till area. Just seems devoid of excitement.

Awful customer service. The store manager was happy to take payment for the bathroom but from that moment on it was problem after problem. Certain parts of the order missing that were obviously needed and the staff were told we needed. Items such as the toilet bowl being scratched. Then having to wait up to 14 days for new items to be delivered. Tried contacting the customer service and their response time was the worst I have ever had. I will never be using wickes again after this experience.

Very helpful staffs. I like to thank them, especially the manager Mike. He helps us to solve the problem that annoys us for weeks. He is willing to help.
