This
is
one
of
my
most
favourite
places
to
visit
when
I
am
holidaying
in
North
Wales.
The
car
park
is
a
reasonable
size,
has
excellent
toilets
and
has
a
regular
coffee
van
and
ice
cream
van.
The
forest
provides
lots
of
different
graded
and
way
marked
walks
where
you
might
get
to
spot
Red
Squirrels.
The
beach
is
a
vast
mostly
sandy
expanse
(some
pebble
areas
mostly
near
the
dunes).
One
thing
that
is
important
to
note
is
that
the
walk
from
the
car
park
onto
the
beach
includes
a
very
steep
climb
down
a
dune
onto
the
beach...
making
access
difficult
if
you
have
restricted
mobility.
I
have
arthritis
and
found
it
hard
going
and
painful
but
well
worth
it
as
it
is
only
a
very
brief
section.
Part
of
the
beach
is
out
of
bounds
to
dogs
but
the
dog
friendly
area
is
huge
even
when
the
tide
is
in.
There
is
a
tidal
island
which
is
wonderful
for
bird
watching...
watch
you
don't
get
stuck
there
by
the
incoming
tide
though!
It
is
a
wonderful
place
for
a
day
out
