Auradaze
is
a
truely
intimate
and
authentic
Japanese
experience.
Laura
is
a
warm
and
attentive
host
who
has
a
wealth
of
knowledge
on
Japanese
culture
and
food,
She
makes
you
feel
comfortable
from
the
minute
you
walk
in.
When
my
fiancé
requested
a
fork
for
one
of
the
courses
she
was
refused
in
such
a
kind
and
humble
manner
explaining
that
metal
on
the
table
is
not
'Feng
Shui'
to
the
Japanese
dining
experience,
she
was
shown
how
it
could
be
made
easier
for
her
by
using
an
elastic
band
and
rolled
up
piece
of
paper.
By
the
end
of
the
evening
she
was
picking
up
rice
grains
with
ease,
im
glad
my
fiancé
has
finally
learned
how
to
use
chopsticks
because
of
Laura,
so
thanks
again!
(They
will
give
you
a
fork
if
you
still
struggle
with
the
chopsticks)
The
8
course
Omakase
'Trust
the
Chef'
dining
experience
is
one
of
true
character
and
flavour.
We
started
with
the
delicious
Miso
soup
with
Scolop
and
Shishito
Peppers
which
gave
a
real
rich
flavour
and
warmth
to
the
stomach.
Followed
by
a
gigantic
King
Scollop
Nigri
with
a
little
vinaigrette
dressing
as
Sushi
apprently
means
vinegar
rice
and
not
raw
fish.
Next
we
had
more
Sushi
this
time
Salmon
and
Tuna
Sashimi
and
Nigri
with
authentic
Wasabi.
After
this
we
had
a
crispy
Salmon
skin
salad.
This
was
then
complimented
with
Langoustine
in
a
rich
flavoursome
sauce,
which
was
a
messy
but
fun
dish.
After
some
cleaning
up
this
was
followed
with
a
creamy
sashimi
pallet
cleanser
of
Sea
bass
sprinkled
with
a
little
lemon
pepper.
The
highlight
of
the
evening
was
the
exceptional
Kobe
Beef,
the
most
melt
in
your
mouth
delicious
flavoured
beef
you
have
ever
tasted,
well
worth
the
upgrade
and
price!
The
evening
was
finished
with
a
two
small
deserts
one
a
cherry
blossom
rice
cake
which
is
an
unusal
combination
of
sweet
and
salty
at
the
same
time
the
latter
being
a
type
of
mango
ice
cream
with
a
sweet
jelly
coating.
Darren
the
chef
has
really
researched
and
executed
these
dishes
to
the
highest
level,
obviously
being
taught
by
some
of
the
finest
Japanese
chefs
for
him
to
pass
these
truely
authentic
flavours
to
us
westerners
and
for
this
I
thank
him
and
Laura
for
such
an
amazing
experience.
Highly
reccomended
for
anyone
up
for
challenging
what
they
think
is
Authentic
Japanese
cuisine!
We'll
be
back
again
soon!
