Immaculate Lake very well kept, big spacious swims per Angler. helpful staff. bailiff is very helpful and can point you in the right direction always willing to give you tips, disabled swims also available and afew double swims. Definitely recommend this place put a 24-hour isn't long enough, you need to do a minimum of 48hr. I will definitely be returning for another session. On-site tackle shop showers and toilet facilities available. wheelbarrows available free of charge to get your gear to your swim. free tea and coffee available, charging points to charge mobile devices bivvy lights etc fridge, freezer for storing food or bait. Local takeaway delivery service to the main gate available.

Absolutely stunning lake, well looked after,clean swims,clean facilities. Definitely want to go back. Only reason I didn't give it 5stars was so much goose poo!!💩😵🎣😁

Awesome place with some great carp to go at.

Stayed in both cabins in April, Rosie's Retreat (on main lake) has excellent facilities and is very comfortable, cabin on the Pool is more basic, but still much better than a bivvy. Great fishing on both lakes, staff are friendly and really helpful, put us straight on the fish and looked after us. Highly recommended for a fishing break as a couple.

Just had the pleasure of spending 4 day at Rosie's retreat on Cromwell lakes and all I can say what a first class experience it was !!! From start to finish the hole experience could not be faulted 👍👍. The lads on site couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. If anyone is starting a carp lake and wants to see how it should be done pay the lads a visit at Cromwell. Can't wait to go back 😀👍

Well worth a visit. I only had a couple of eels after 5 nights but the rewards after being patient could and would be worth the effort.

Dave helped me out loads when I was worried about pike and cod biting my dog. Great place, good parking and food, solid outdoor place to go fishing. If you see a big guy who wears the denim hat, that's Jockstrap. Make sure you rib him over losing his Land Rover in the lake!!!

I have fished all over the country and cromwell has to be one of the best kept fisheries around. The place is spotless with great facilities from barrows,bait shop, showers, wifi at the peg and free tea and coffee (little touches that count). The lake is by no means a runs water but the stock of carp is very impressive with 30’s and 40’s to be had supported by plenty of 20’s. Nafe is a great host and always on hand to offer advice.

I'm not usually one for leaving reviews but this one has to be done. It was my 3rd time at cromwell and again it didn't disappoint! I've done many many day ticket waters and this is hands down the best I've ever been to. Ben, one of the bailiffs went above and beyond for me and anyone I saw him talking to. An absolute true gent and a huge credit to cromwell. Cromwell has been very good to me over the 3 sessions. On my second visit I managed 5 fish with winston being the pick of the bunch at an astonishing weight of 43'12 and a new pb! The third visit saw me banking 6 fish with the biggest being an absolute better of a fish coming in at 36'6. Very dark common and probably the most immense looking commons I've ever seen! Nathan, Ben and the team do an astounding job and I would highly recommend this place to any angler! See you soon lads !

What a place. Probably best lake i have been to. Well kept lake. Loads of bait and tackle available on site. Showers and toilets cleaned daily and bailiffs are really nice and friendly and willing to help. Can't wait to get back there

First time visiting, the owner is a great chap, went for a social with a few mates couldnt get pegs together but was allowed to group up on 1 peg together. Some beautiful fish in the lake me and my mate both smashed pbs will deffo be going back for a bigger one

Probably the best kept carp venue in the UK the place is immaculate the staff and people that run it are brilliant too only hear good things about Cromwell and thats why deffo be going again when I can find the time

Stayed in cabin for 4 nights, was really clean and tidy 👌 grounds are very well looked after. Fishing was a little hard but that's fishing sometimes. bailiff was very helpful. Definitely booking for next year !!

Just returned from a mon to Fri stay in Rosies retreat, the place is fantastic. Top quality carp fishing and beautifully conditioned carp. Cannot praise this place enough. My son managed to smash his PB with baiting tips from the very helpful bailiffs. The whole place is immaculate, we'll definitely be back.
