    What a joke of an experience. I got quoted for a diagnostic on the phone for an Engine Management Light on my dashboard. (Wasn't cheap) They did the diagnostic and when I refused the expensive (overpriced) remedy work and went to pick my car up, they were pretty useless. They seemed hooked up on the fact "I was taking it to a friend" which wasn't true. They went ahead and tried to charge me more than quoted but worse than that, the diagnosis they gave me was that the EML was on, on the dashboard. I obviously already knew that it's the reason I took it in, the diagnosis is to get the reason it's on! After two lots of discussion on the matter I finally got an error code print out. Really disappointed. They only seem bothered with proper service if you are being ripped off by them. Otherwise they seem rude and awkward as if they have a sulk on. Disappointed. Would never use them for service / fixing work ever again.

    Very disappointed. When booking our service and MOT we advised of a fault. When we dropped the car off we also mentioned the fault. We picked the car up and the warning light had been reset without fixing the fault so it recurred on the way home. We called and they can "diagnose" for an additional £160 but can't book it in for another 5 weeks. No way will we pay again for a courtesy car when the fault should have been diagnosed and fixed when they had the car. They also cleaned inside the windscreen leaving it so smeary with grease it was dangerous to drive with oncoming headlamps. They turned the headlamps from automatic to manual meaning we drove off the site totally unaware we had no lights on. I expect better from a main dealer.

    One star because there a good cafe nearby. Booked in for an airbag replacement due to a safety recall. 2 days beforehand hand called to confirm as the item wasn't available previously. Was told I was booked in Worksop even though had asked for Chesterfield. Asked them to book me in to Chesterfield and check if part was available as had arranged my day around the work. They rearranged for Chesterfield. Drove 160 miles to arrive for 10am to be told by an extremely unhelpful service man that the booking wasn't on the system, they didn't have the part and I should take it up with them. To compound the problem my car had chosen to develop a fault a few miles from the garage and it broke down in their car park. They wouldn't help, saying their earliest appointment was in 18 days time! Whereas the AA was able to quickly identify an alternator fault. Perrys worse than useless. We did however at least enjoy a good breakfast waiting for the AA who were helpful and assisted us to get to a garage for a repair.

    A great experience from start to finish. Johnny answered all my questions truthfully and reassured me as I was travelling from 4 hours away that the car I was looking at had no issues. On collection, the car was in every way the way he had described it, the handover was informative and we were shown around the car. Definitely worth a visit, it makes a nice change to be confident in a car dealer again.

    The whole process made far to easy to exchange my old car to a newer model. This is not a complaint but emphasizes the good service given by the Perry's salesman, all paperwork sorted and processes in good timely manner .

    Just purchased a 2023 Ford Focus Titanium X Edition from Perrys Ford Store in Chesterfield. Not local to me but they had the best priced vehicles and the one I was looking for. Excellent buying experience from start to finish as I was dealt with by Kara Baldwin. She was very helpful and there was no pressure to buy the vehicle or any of the optional services that most dealers sell. I would highly recommend visiting Perrys Ford Store Chesterfield. Just ask for Kara, and I'm sure you'll be looked after. Thanks again Kara :-)

    I purchased a 2nd hand car and was dealt with by Anthony. I must say the best car buying experience I’ve had in 40+yrs motoring. Felt all along that Anthony wanted me to be entirely happy with my purchase not just interested in selling me a car. Kept me fully updated on progress towards being ready to collect, and car was handed over in super condition, 3 days after collection he called to check I was still happy and that all was ok. Wouldn’t hesitate to return and would certainly recommend Anthony and Perrys Chesterfield Ford store.

    Picked up our truck today. What an excellent experience and an absolute pleasure to do business with Liam in commercials! Honestly the best customer service we have ever received. After weeks of struggling to find a ranger that meets our spec, being let down from other dealerships, we found one at Perrys on autotrader on Bank Holiday weekend. Reserved online for only £99. First thing Tuesday get a professional phone call from Liam discussing our order. We wanted to ensure its a decent truck as we would be travelling 4 hours to collect. After explaining our journey Liam offered to collect us from the train station free of charge. Once chauffeured back to the dealership, coffee and drinks offered on arrival, proper red carpet service. Great chat about local area, even showing us some houses for sale in the area, nice personable guy! Answered any question we had, could not of asked for a better person to deal with! From working in a motor trade sales background, we knew we only wanted to buy this truck from him. Made the whole experience relaxed, stress free and drove out the dealership with the biggest smile on our faces. 4 hour journey back home and the truck has been fantastic.     Excellent service from beginning to end. Bought a used van from the commercial side and there were no problems what so ever. The vehicle I wanted was at another Perry’s location and the commercial vehicles specialist at Chesterfield collected the vehicle himself just so I could take it for a test drive at the Chesterfield branch. Ian Tyler at Perry’s Chesterfield is the man who handle everything and when the time came to collecting the van and making payment it was straight forward, van fully valeted, full service, everything sorted on arrival. I was in and out in no time. Ian’s customer service was outstanding. Friendly. Customer focused. Effective communication.

    Took a client's motability car in to be checked over after having a couple of issues with it. They were very good, arranged a date for it to be taken in, made it possible to be dropped off the day before as it was more convenient for us. Gave them a summary of the situation, that I'm a support worker for a blind couple, this was their vehicle and the various few problems we had experienced with it. Gave my contact details incase they had any questions about the problems and gave the owners details for them to contact when it was ready for collection. They were very helpful, polite, professional and friendly. The only negative thing we had regarding our experience was that they sent a video of the work they carried out to the owner. Well we think that was what the video was? As I had explained to them, the vehicle owners are blind. So sending them a video was of no use whatsoever! It would have been better if they had sent it to myself as I had clearly stipulated that I was the person to contact regarding anything to do with the car other than informing someone that it was ready for collection. Obviously the owners couldn't see the video and in trying to forward it on to me it accidentally got deleted. Hopefully there wasn't anything super important in that video because it wasn't seen by the person who needed to watch it?! Which is a shame because I think to send a video showing what has been done to the vehicle is a great idea! If that's what it even was?! Who knows??! If so then they just need to make sure it gets sent to the relevant person which isn't always the vehicle owner. Especially when dealing with the motability vehicles. Other than that it was a good experience. No complaints at all excluding that one particular gripe.

    Visited today, and looked at most of the forecourt. Plenty to look at and able to view all without any pushy salesmen bothering you. That's good to know. Layout was good with a varied selection of vans and cars. Well recommended to visit even if just looking. We queried about vans and all questions were answered giving us more knowledge of what to buy when ready. Great place to view 10/10 from me.

    Sold car hire with 1 nights hotel room as promotional offer. Was advised 'Pam' from promotions would deal with promotion. Promised on numerous occasions hotel stay was sent. 4 weeks later and nothing despite ringing Pam each week with false promises. No trust in the company. Dont trust the promotions

    I hired a Ford eco sport for 3 weeks. The price was competitive and the vehicle I thoroughly enjoyed. Service was pleasant helpful quick and efficient and I wasn't charged for my grandsons crispy biscuit2 mess in the back. I will definitely use Perry's again for car hire and do recommend the eco sport. Hire car insurance liability is very high so buying separate car hire insurance with a one off payment provides total peace of mind.

    Thanks for the good service from Perry’s Chesterfield. Car in for service had recall from Ford on steering rack. All done by Perry’s under warranty. Great interaction from Karen on the front desk. Car was not finished for my holiday so given a curtesy car for over a week which goes beyond good to excellent. Reinforced my good experience with Perry’s over many years.

    My car went in for its annual service - a part was damaged while engineer was removing it, marked up the price of the part and extortionate amount and we had to pay the bill. Disgraceful. Will not be returning on a personal level again, I also purchase my company vans for our fleet from ford, will be reconsidering this going forward also. Really disappointed.

    Bought a 2018 Ford Ranger from Ian Tyler at Perrys. Ian was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the Vehicle. Great communication and delivered on all things noted and promised when I ordered the vehicle. After the sale I had a small problem with the vehicle that needed sorting. I called Ian and he took complete control, got the vehicle booked in, provided a loan vehicle while the repair were made. Good communication all the way through. Would 100% buy a vehicle from Ian when mine is up for renewal. Very happy the service levels received from Ian and the Service team at Perrys.

    I brought a used car from Perrys Chesterfield, I was thrilled with the car. I had only had the car one day when the driving was impaired. I was unsure what was wrong but it felt like either the clutch or gearbox, the balancing on the wheels needed doing too. I contacted Perrys they got the car in and did the balancing the mechanic drove the car and said the clutch was not right. Long story short, I was messed about a bit and was unable to use the car for a week. I then spoke to the manager and asked for the car to be sorted. He got the car booked in for a new clutch and it was completed in a day. I was also loaned a courtesy car. My overall experience wasn't a good one but they pulled it out the bag and sorted my car.

    Just purchased a Nissan Qashqai from Perrys Chesterfield. The salesman Dave Evan’s was excellent. Very professional and polite throughout the whole process and making the purchase as easy as possible for me. There was a minor dent on the front wing which was dealt with as promised before collection and the car was presented in an immaculate condition.     The staff at the garage and our sale person particularly were efficient, friendly, polite, helpful and approachable. The car is easy to drive with lots of added extras compared to other cars of a similar type. We loved our last two cars of the same type and were very pleased to be able to order another one through the same salesperson. No hard sell, no uncomfortable conversations - buying a car has never been easier. It allowed us to feel all the enjoyment and excitement of a new car with none of the anxiety or frustration that getting a new car can often bring. Having visited other garages and other brands, I'm still waiting for some of them to 'call me back' over 9 months later, but at Ford, I got answers to my queries at all times of the day very quickly. It helped in every way when we all have busy lives and want it to be a quick and painless process. I would highly recommend Ford, and a huge part of that recommendation is the sale person we dealt with. We've been coming back to him amongst all my family members for over 20 years.

    Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Perry's. I felt communications could be improved, more regular updates, I felt I was chasing for information regarding my car repair. Despite telling them early, before picking my car up that there was a time limit on this repair, my car was not ready to be delivered back to me before the deadline , I felt let down in the end. However, the repair was finished to the standard I wanted.
