There are 3 lakes here. A specimen, match and general mixed one. I fished the match lake. It would be fair to say it teems with fish of which carp dominate but there are silvers as well. The fish are in good condition but there is evidence of mouth damage to most of the carp. Fishing the top two of my pole resulted in a bite acast from carp between 1 and 6lbs for an estimated catch of about 190lbs. Good place to visit to renew your fish playing techniques but soon you will be looking for more of a challenge. The general mixed lake calls for my next visit. All reasonably well maintained and picturesque. Update March 2023 Have fished the silvers lake and match lake a few times now and while the carp are a little battered the rest of 5he fish are in good condition including the large head of gudgeon some of which are very large and good fun. Best for a mixed bag is the silvers lake. Good for a day's fun for any skill level.

So peaceful, no kids, no dogs barking, no traffic. Perfect. Paul was so helpful, he stayed until 8 o'clock on our first night sorting out the TV. Second day my hubby was admitted to hospital and Paul gave us a bottle of wine. The hot tub was amazing, but I couldn't fit it in the car to bring home!! Lodge was very clean and welcoming and so cosy. And the fishing was good too. Definitely will be returning. Thanks Paul. Xx

Love fishing at Goodiford mill have done for years, lovely spot in the countryside. Staff are lovely and friendly. Paul is great and will help beginners fish. Chris the owner we have met recently and offered our help at any time. Lots of work has been done recently only thing now is the islands need a bit of work. What a gem of a place. We stopped here to break our journey up to Cornwall. Lovely little cl site. I will definitely be back again and will bring my fishing rods.

Just booked a week here in the Foxy Mill, plus points are the bed was quite comfortable and the WiFi was a strong signal because you are next to the site office. The kitchen is well equipped, a dishwasher washer is installed even though the description didn't say so. A welcome pint of milk waiting in the fridge. The hot tub was quite big. On the negative side the main door has a gap in it. The kitchen did seem to have lots of flies in it we cleared them out loads of times and in the end resorted to a bug zapper light to try and keep on top of it. We checked out early mainly due to the weather but also the fact that you don't have much in the area to walk to.

Fishing has always been good but the banks are very over grown with lots of overhanging snags into the water. Pegs could do with bing cut back to make them more accessible. A little tidy up and it could be back to its best

Lovely location with only 6 lodges on the site. Quiet and peaceful ideal getaway for a secluded break. Fishing ponds are large and nice to walk around

Stayed at Foxy Lodge for a 3 night weekend with a hot tub. Lodge was cosy, spotless and everything and more for a fabulous weekend. We were greeted on arrival with warmth and kindness. The lakes are wonderfully peaceful and beautiful to walk around. We would definitely return but need to hope for a cancellation as they are unsurprisingly fully booked. We stayed in the beaver Lodge. Firstly I would like to say thankyou for such lovely friendly staff very helpful. We were very disappointed that we had no WiFi at all no signal at all this was necessary as I have a business and needed contact .this was not mentioned on booking and advertising WiFi. This is a shame and would prevent our returning. The lodges are well equipped but in need of repairs and updating. The shower screen was grubby the bath panel broken carpets ripped worktop edging missing .. The hot tub was great Thankyou again to the staff couldn't do enough

Me & my wife stayed at the Badger lodge for a lovely week in July the 15th to the 22nd of July 2023 & what a fantastic lovely place & it was so clean & Beautiful & Paul & the team are so Friendly & very helpful & made us so welcome we would definitely recommend it to anyone & we are so looking forward to going back next year for 2 weeks thank you so much to Paul & family & your team Best wishes mark & kat see you next year 2024 xxx

If you love fishing and have pets this place is for you. If you have a family and want some time away then I'd choose somewhere else like Centre Parks.

Beautiful fishery, bag up on the match lake or try your hand on the specimen lake. Really nice lodges for a family stay. Three fish today, all really nice fish up to twenty pounds.

I fished the match lake for 8 hours today, and had a really good time. I caught multiple Mirror & Common Carp, and also my first ever Leather Carp. I also landed Roach & Bream. A beautiful lake, very quiet & peaceful, access was really good, swims in good order, good toilets. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful time at Goodiford. Paul the staff member was so helpful 10/10. the specimen lake was great, but a little to far for my liking, I like fishing outside of my lodge. The hot tub was fantastic, which is well maintained by Paul. Had a lovely wander around the lakes, & the shopping was 10 minuets away. the Indian restaurant in Cullompton was fantastic. The food was so good, take your own drinks, which halves your bill. We would recommend this quiet hideaway.. lovely stay.

Only been once but was a lovely clean place with plenty of fish to be had, others there seemed to be very friendly.

We had a long weekend with friends and stayed in the badger lodge. Although we had no working fridge for the whole weekend and Paul tried sorting it out it wouldn't work. Luckily we had A cool bag. The lodge was comfortable and the beds were lovely to sleep in. The place was clean and quiet and easy access to all 3 lakes. The main carp lake is not an easy lake but rewarding when you get a fish as they have no injuries and very good looking. It's worth fishing the match lake if you blank on the main lake but there are alot of ugly carp where people have not taken care to take the hooks out. We will certainly be returning as we had an amazing time.

I can only comment on the lakes as I have never stayed in the lodges but they do look nice. The specimen lake is just over 1.5 acres with accessible swims and close parking, it fishes OK with normally 1 fish + a day with my average being 15lb ish. The match pond is just ridiculous fishing. I once caught 31 carp in 6 hours with the biggest scraping double, always the place I go just to get a bend in the rod. The road way in is a bit dicey as you have to drop down a slope through a Ford and up the other side. Would be 5 stars if they would build a bridge over it.

We booked pegs 28-60 for a match however when we arrived half of the pegs where in fishable due to being over grown and some we had to custom ourselves it has been let go a lot and needs work!! However The fishing was exceptional some good results where had would use for pleasure but would not book for a match.!

We just come back from lovely holiday we spent in this lovely place,the lodge was beautiful and everything was clean,the beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly gave us lots of advice where to go and places to visit, it was nice to find out that landlord originally come from the same place where we live,we had lots to talk, we would highly recommend this place if you like peace and quiet, relaxing atmosphere and of course fishing,we had one of the best holidays there and will definitely be back
