The lodges are absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Darwin for 4 nights and it had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay plus the added luxuries of a hot tub, steam room and sauna. There is an on-site restaurant and takeaway service which is open Wednesday to Sunday. We ordered the takeaway one night and ate in the restaurant twice. All the food was lovely and the service was very good. Finally there is a butchers shop which has just opened. This is very handy for essentials whilst staying on the park but also had a good selection of meats and fresh veg.

Found this beautiful place whilst looking for somewhere for lunch. Have to say this is one of the best places I have eaten and is an absolute gem. The prices are reasonable and yet the food is absolutely beautiful - locally sourced and fresh food cooked to perfection. The staff are so pleasant and helpful, making the experience extremely worthy of note. When back in the Lakes would certainly travel any distance to visit here again. A fantastic experience all round.

We stayed at the Sheraton Retreat for my husband's birthday, and the lodge was absolutely stunning. I can't fault the place it was breathtaking. The view was amazing. We had a large outdoor private garden space. The hot tub, sauna, steamed shower, and fireplace in every room were amazing. There were a few things that i would note, the bathroom floor can get slippery, so be very careful. They don't supply oven gloves, so you'll need to get your own if you want to use the oven. They provide milk, bread, vinegar, and tea essentials. They also provide bathrobe and slippers. However, we stayed for 4 nights and only had one pair of towels and one nights worth of Toilettries, but once we asked for more, we did receive it. There is an out of hours number that wasn't provided in our welcome folder, so be sure to get this from someone in reception before your stay. You can also book a massage therapist to give you an in lodge massage on a Thursday her name is Blanche, and she did one of the best hot stone massages I have ever had. The lodge has a golf course and lots of acres of land for you to go for a stroll sit by the lake and see all the animals. There is also a restaurant that served amazing freshly made food daily.

Second last night and sad to be leaving for sure. I will definitely be back! Not only are the Lodges immaculately clean they are well equipped with everything you need, literally never wished or wanted for anything. There is a restaurant and butcher shop on site which are both amazing. The Lodges are separated well from the neighbouring Lodges and there is even grass mounds surrounding the Lodges to ensure complete privacy. Everything has been thought of well. I chose the Darwin which has a hot tub, sauna and steam room!

The best place for me and my wife to have our honeymoon. The lodge was incredible! You couldn't get a cleaner Lodge! If you had Kim & Aggy in they would leave with no complaints... The beds, bathrooms, kitchen, living area and hot tub were fantastic! The food..... well.... absolutely incredible and well priced! We really struggled to eat three course meals because the food was amazing and Cumbrians don't like to give out small portions! The setting, the views & the privacy were fantastic! We loved it so much we're booking to come back next year! The staff were fantastic and massive credit to Dee (Restaurant Manager). I have never met a lady in hospitality as fantastic. She really made our stay so special! I will honestly persuade anyone who's thinking of going to Brayton to do it! It's fantastic and not full of tourists getting in your way like if you were to book in the heart of the Lakes... you can see the edge of the lakes from your living area and the drive is very short to get there! One last thing.... The Butchers shop was incredible! I won't spoil it but just try a Sausage Roll from there! Really does put Greggs to shame..... (well I'll have to settle with Greggs until next visit) Fantastic place. Fantastic staff and locals..... Just incredible! See you soon and thank you for making our honeymoon so special! 💗

What an experience, beautiful location, and lodges. We stayed in a Darwin with a hot tub and sauna. Lovely towns nearby with Keswick only 25 minutes away, cockermouth about 20 minutes but still within reaching distance to Bowness on windermere which is around 45/60 mins away. The restaurant by Rachel at the entrance to the lodges is family run very friendly staff, and the butcher joined at the back selling fresh produce, I recommend the Cumberland sausages they were fantastic. The lodge had lovely complimentary items, milk, butter, jams, a loaf of fresh local bread, and even hot chocolate. I would give my experience here a 10/10. I visited with my wife and 1 year old daughter - they even left a high chair by the dining table and a folding travel cot in the bedroom for us to use. Thanks again for a lovely visit. We'll definitely be back.

I don’t know how to describe a place that’s so perfect! Wow! Me and my wife went away for her birthday it was a surprise gift and she absolutely Loved it. The privacy is fantastic the views are absolutely amazing, the decor is modern and most of all these lodges are equipped with practically everything you need. I travelled from the midlands the late check in was so easy, the whole place was clean and tidy I genuinely could permanently move into one of these lodges! Temperature on hot tub was always perfect it was maintained very discreetly in the mornings with no discomfort to ourselves. Will I go back again? Without a doubt! It was my first lodge experience it certainly didn’t disappoint. It was a darwin we stayed in. The next booking will be for a Sheraton without a doubt. I’d give 10* rating if I could honestly amazing!

Absolutely love staying here. Great quiet location but can reach the beaches and main towns within 20 minutes. Local village has shops if you need to stock up.

We have just been to North Lake lodges this week, we had the Darwin lodge, absolutely fantastic you have every you could ever wish for. Very private nobody overlooking you. The steam room and sauna are terrific, the hot tub was undercover. What a brilliant week, thanks North Lake Lodges

Last year we stayed in a Darwin, this year we upgraded to a Sheraton. Both lodges are beautiful but the Sheraton is sat on a wonderfully thought out piece of land, featuring a huge 'back garden', it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we like! The lodge is stunning, the decor and fittings are beautiful, the sauna and hottub are immaculate too (the hottub is maintained for you every morning). We also had a couple of takeout deliveries from the onsite Lakeside Cafe restaurant. The food is delicious, you can tell they use quality ingredients. The grilled cheese was to die for, and the chicken club was nice and full with perfect crispy bacon. Would also recommend the Beef Sarnie which was far too big for me, but I couldn't stop eating it! We had a cumbrian breakfast too, and both agreed that it was the best we'd eaten anywhere. Couldn't fault this place at all, and just another reason to return again.

Great location for family time or relaxing with friends. Good degree of privacy and high spec finishing within the lodges. Had a great week away.

If you want to relax and have privacy with a beautiful place to stay, this is the place for you. Everything was amazing, clean and even down to small touches they seem to be on top of everything. We like to try different places, but honestly I think we will come back here again soon. Thank you for a great weekend!

Love this place. As a family we usually go with our 2 kids a few times a year. A great place to switch off and relax, pour a glass of bubbly and get in the hot tub. Modern and classy lodges kept to a very high standard. And great food! If I was to make any negative comment it would be that check out is at 9am which makes it a bit of a rush. But other than that, it's perfect!

Stayed at Darwin lodge. Staff and processing was excellent, had someone to speak to via txt who told me everything I needed to no! I have stayed all over the world I. Top hotels but I have to say this was my first lodge. It’s amazing!! Every detail, the lighting, hot tub, huge tvs every where. Kitted out with everything you would want for a short stay gave us complimentary milk, bread etc. Came for a weekend away with my wife, It’s so peaceful and views are so good you forget you’re in England. 4 takeaway numbers in the booklet they give and halal Indian restaurant available. Best place I’ve stayed in a while. Will be booking again very soon!!

Immaculate Lodge with spotless hot tub in a beautiful setting by a golf course. Secure entry to lodge area. Very private with massive spaces between lodges. Lovely restaurant serving breakfast [try the Vikings Breakfast], lunch and dinner. Take out menu with delivery to lodge available. Excellent food. Butcher shop on site. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Fastest broadband we've ever experienced in a lodge [40 down, 30 up]. 10/10 for Dee, the restaurant manager. Thanks again from the Scottish people in Wellington 4. Hope to return soon.

Spent 4 nights in Wordsworth 12. Stunning lodge. Spotlessly clean. Welcome pack and a few cleaning items were much appreciated. Thought has been taken on the position of lodges, as they don't look in to others so very private. The park itself is a credit to all who look after it. The golf course was a pleasure. The home farm shop was excellent. Unfortunately, the clubhouse was closed for refurbishment and that would just have made it even better. We were also very lucky with warm sunny weather. Would go back and would not hesitate to recommend.

Spent a fabulous weekend with friends in a Wordsworth. Very clean and spacious, like a mini home from home. The weather was awful, but we chilled out in the covered Hottub which was so private. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food at The Lakeside restaurant was to die for. So delicious. The butchers onsite is a little gem and sells the produce used in the restaurant. All in all, its a super place and would love to go back in Sunmer to take advantage of the golf course and fishing lake.

The farm shop by the golf course is incredible. Massive variety of local meats....we had 2 bbq's in a week just so we could make the most of the sun & their fabulous produce. Steaks cut to our specification. Amazing burgers, sausages, kebabs & lamb koftas. Lovely fresh veg. Deli coleslaw was fabulous & all so reasonably priced. Staff so friendly & helpful too.

Absolutely fabulous break. Beautiful lodges. Really private. Best ones we've ever been to. Amazing service from all the friendly staff. Lovely breakfasts, very accomodating to our son's eating issues. Couldn't have asked for more. We'll definitely be back.
