    Would leave zero stars if possible.     Update to my review They eventually gave me an courtesy car and they fixed everything what was to be fixed. So I'm change my review to 5 stars. Thanks Ford Ive booked my car to the service department under the promise of an courtesy car but now they want to cancel my booking and they offered me another day 1 month from now but of course without knowing if there will be a courtesy car or not and they don't know how much would take them to fix my 25k car. That's about it about looking after Ford car buyers. I'm disappointed.

    Took car in this morning for oil light check whilst I waited found it it was a service as well of which they did. Wanted help with the ford app which a gentleman was very helpful and guided me through . ALL the staff I spoke to were kind friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. A big well done

    Fleet car driver. Booked car in for Mot only sit and wait. Had to carry out short job so left car at 2.00pm for 2.30 test walked 3/4 mile carried out job returned 4.00pm car not ready. Told waiting for fleet company to authorise work.(what they didn't say was that they decided to carry out service at same time and this is why they had to wait for authorising). They didn't call me to let me know(said they didn't have my phone number but this was given to the girl on the desk when I dropped car off).They then also said I had not booked sit and wait Mot which I clearly had at 2.30 in the afternoon.I then had to ring to get a lift home, no offer of a lift or taxi home or apology. I then had to come back down at 6.00pm for my car and that's when I found out that they had also serviced it. No thought for the driver being messed about. Not the first time at this garage. Definitely won't be back.

    Bought a secondhand ST Fiesta from here in lockdown so I didn't see the car and I live over 250 miles away. I paid the asking price but got a Ford warranty. The car was driven to me in winter so turned up filthy. Because of lockdowns I've not driven it that much but as I do i find more and more things wrong with it. Currently the rear parking sensors don't work properly and beep when theres nothing behind the steering wheel radio controls don't work the driver seat is lose and it needed new brakes on the rear aa the were making a grinding noise. Also after just over 1000miles I need new front tyres meaning they were that good when I got the car. Most of the issues are being done or looked at under the warranty in my local ford dealer but the I had to call Castleford and ask the to contact my local dealer to pay for the diagnosis but the guy i spoke to wasn't happy about this and didn't do it. My local dealer couldn't claim for the brakes so I rang castleford who made me drive an hr to trustford in Weston who confirmed and replaced the discs and pads but told me castleford were again not at all happy about having to cover the costs of the brakes. Weston also agreed the front tyres should have been replaced before it was driven down to me but it wasn't worth me trying to get those as well as the brakes from Castleford. I agreed but after this will make sure I buy future cars local and see them first.

    The actual car buying experience was a good one. Dennis was very helpful and went above and beyond, I have to say though the good part ends there. I recieved a phone call from Renault this morning regarding my old car, I explained that the account should been settled as I no longer own a Renault only to be told that the account hadn't been settled. Cue phone call to trustford, told that Dennis wasn't in but that the manager would call me back. After an hour no phone call. I phoned them again and was fobbed off with everyone busy. I actually got in my car drove to Ford to be told that the finance was settled by telegraph transfer but nobody seemingly knew when. I then phoned Renault after leaving ford and they informed me funds recieved today! The finance had clearly been settled after my initial phone call to Ford this morning! This is a whole 2 weeks after getting my new car. Why somebody at Ford could not just say it had not been done but would be right away is beyond me.

    Meeting Scott @ Trust Ford and purchasing my Gorgeous Ford PumaST was an absolute pleasure. The most straightforward buying experience you could hope for. No jargon, no hidden extras, just good old honesty and a genuine guy who goes that extra mile to get you what you need. All car garages need to take a leaf out of Trust Ford Castleford book!     My partner and I bought an used car from here and the customer service was brilliant. Paul was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with helping us find a car. There was a few issues with the car we picked but Paul and the team went up and beyond for us, ensuring that everything was spot on for us. Paul helped us with the paperwork and made sure we were happy before we left. If you want to buy an new/used car and have brilliant customer service as well, TrustFord Castleford is the place to go.

    Took my old man to buy a car a month or so ago and they were really helpful, think the guy who dealt with us was very friendly and helpful and not too pushy, unlike some other car retailers in the area, had something within his budget and we walked away happy!! (He bought the fiesta not the Mustang!!) If you like fords and good customer service then this place is fully recommended!!

    Had our newer Focus (72 reg) for a month now, lovely car, very happy. Exchanged our older Focus, which we also bought from the Castleford branch 3 years ago. Paul Marsh was very helpful, once he knew what we wanted, he did all he could to find us a Focus meeting our spec at a price that was affordable, even though the one we settled for was 200 miles away!! We didn't feel any pressure to buy, the whole process was relaxed and easy to follow, and we felt that if we had wanted to walk away from the deal before committing, we could have done so with no questions asked. Overall, a pleasant experience, would definitely recommend Trust at Castleford, very helpful, no pressure service. Thank you

    Got a used Fiesta couple of weeks ago, after a couple of minor issues with a tyre and the Ariel, which were sorted quickly by Paul (5 stars) who was very helpful from start to finish. I am pleased with the car so far. My only grumble is the state of the forecourt and lack of clearly signposted customer parking, (in fact lack of parking full stop), it really is a mess (2/3 stars) and they really need to get those pot holes sorted, when you drive in it’s really bad.

    Really impressed with this dealership. Took delivery of my new Puma and the other half's Focus. Dennis was brilliant, and would definitely buy a car there again. I hope the after sales care is as good when it comes to service etc. Thanks. Update. Well that didn't last long. Turns out that the dealership failed to settle the finance on the old car. Was notified of this by the old finance company. Tried calling for an answer as to what was going on to be told someone will call back, but they never did. So, went through to the dealership, to speak in person, (still with no phone call), where it was paid immediately. But it took a visit to the dealship in person for this to happen. Otherwise it would still not have been settled. Wouldn't it be nice if one day a car dealership could do something without having to be chased. This was the other half's car, so I can't wait to end up having to chase mine to be paid too, not happy. They got two new car sales out of us, and I even sent my parents their way too as a result of the initial experience, so actually, 3 new car sales. Just goes to prove the service is a sharade that lasts until you sign the dotted lines. £75000 worth of new business sent their way to put it into perspective. And the minute you walk out and drive away, it is left to the customer to chase and sort out why you have been left liable for two car payments.     Fantastic service from Ben and Andrew. Very easy to deal with and they were both great at getting back to me with information. On collection car was clean, fuelled and ready to go. Warm welcome, cup of coffee and paperwork done, super efficient. Highly recommend.

    The whole experience was very good. Started on time they uploaded info about the Mot to my phone. Rang me up 2 and a half hours later that it was ready to collect all with a wash and clean inside. Excellent service and Mot with no extras to pay for apart from the air con cleaner which I new about. I recommend them.

    I came in to get my windscreen mirror fixed as the casing had come off with a few of the clips. From the off, John was very friendly and happy to help. I left my car with him and within minutes I received a call from John who let me know they had managed to fix the windscreen mirror with the parts I had brought in. Thanks to John I saved hundreds of pounds and didn’t have to buy a new mirror. John has made my whole year and saved me a lot of money and stress in this cost of living crisis.     Feel that the vehicle was sold at a fair price and believe it would have been thoroughly checked over. Was horrified to discover on returning home that setting up drive away insurance had been overlooked and if I had settled one day later, I could have had another month of road tax. Original service date information given was 5 months later than actual. Feel a bit misled. Will see whether there are any issues with the car - may feel better in time.

    This is the 6th car I have purchased from Craig at Castleford in 12 years. The service when purchasing is fantastic and straightforward. Craig is always honest and open with my choice of cars and he knows exactly what I want and would like. I wouldn’t purchase a car anywhere else and only deal with Craig. Just hope he never leaves Ford, otherwise I will need to get used to a new brand.

    Bought a ford S Max titanium with power shift from here 2years ago. Was told by the salesman that the engine/gearbox in these was bulletproof proof and that was the reason why they’re hard to get hold of. Fast forward 2 years and the gearbox has gone!!! £4200 to rebuild and that’s about the going rate. I find out now it’s a common problem with the automatic power shift boxes around 90000miles. After speaking with various garages who specialise in auto transmissions they do a lot of these and the repairs are not guaranteed to be successful. And ford still fit the boxes today. Be aware anyone buying a ford with powershift!!!!!!!!! Feel like the salesman really did one on me knowing it’s a common fault. Won’t be buying ford again

    Mathew in mobility was very efficient, friendly and polite, no problem with him. However, we did have a serious problem with the car several days after picking it up. We picked the car up on the Thursday, Stephen was taken out on the Tuesday and the RAC had to be called, the car engine smelt of burning. When checked, it didn’t have any oil in it, the dipstick was bone dry. this is something we would have thought would have been checked before the handover of any vehicle and a brand new mobility vehicle that is needed for medical emergencies and health appointments as well as pleasure

    What a load of rubbish My daughter bought a car from Trust Ford main dealer at Castleford on the 1st April. Beware once they had taken my daughters hard earned money they don’t want to know, with in two weeks the steering column started to make a noise. My wife contacted the customer care, what a joke excuse after excuse. Other issues appeared we finally got the car booked back in, my daughter took the car back on the 22nd May , still not got the car back or issue resolved.

    Really impressed overall. First visit there with my Mustang to diagnose an electrical fault. Found ample parking which is unusual at main dealers, Covid regulations managed really well, and booking in was quick & easy. Fault diagnosed quickly and was updated by phone. They offered to keep it in overnight & get it back to me fixed the following afternoon once parts arrived. I expected to have to rebook to have the repair done (as per my experiences elsewhere), so really impressed with how pragmatic they were. I even got the car back quicker than originally estimated, in a good clean state. Service staff were really knowledgeable and efficient, and kept me informed when they said they would. Cant fault the whole experience. I don't usually have a good experience with main dealers, but would definitely return here after today.

    Car which I bought from them has created one problem after another. I've had it just over a year and the indicator stalk, battery, hand brake adjuster and clutch have all had to be replaced. The brake shoe adjuster had been broken when they adjusted the hand brake. The clutch burnt out because it hadn't been adjusted when it was serviced. I wasn't impressed with Wakefield either. They were going to charge £510 to replace the clutch and my local garage did the clutch and the handbrake for £380. Having had it done things are a lot better and it is obvious that neither the handbrake or the clutch were right from the beginning. The indicator problem started fairly early as well.

    Enquired about a second hand special edition Fiesta ST over the phone and told it was in immaculate condition and in his words he wouldn't be selling the car if it wasn't so I took the plunge and bought it outright to save misisng out on one like I did the week before, got there and did the paperwork bit for the car to come from the valet bay and first thing the front bumper is peppered with stone chips and when I mentioned this I get 'it's a used car' even when I was told it's immaculate. Decided to let it go and get home as it was a three hour round trip, driving home steering wheel buttons inop after it has had a 'checkover', looked over the car more at home and bumper damaged underneath and drivers seat bolster collapsed causing the seat leather to rip. learn from my mistake and see the car before you buy no matter how good they say it is!
