Lovely river. Good for walking with a footpath winding along most of the river. Excellent fishing, one of the best if not the best for Barbel in the country, plenty of good Chub as well to mix things up a bit.

We walked to source of the River Severn from hafren forest, it's a long walk, appropriate footwear a must as there are some quite tight paths to get to the source and it was a very rainy day we went. Great experience and sense of achievement for the family.

River Severn is beautiful, lots of wildlife and great walks along the banks. Don't think about swimming though, sadly there is a lot of sewage pumped into it.

We have walked along and around the rivern Severn several times over the last few days. Our base has been the seven oaks caravan park and we have walked in several directions following the PFM maps for public footpaths. Most are easily identified and open to pass through the fields. We hit too blocks where the fences were blocked and we could not pass through but we found alternative ways around this. Covering in total around 12 miles over the three days. Stunning scenery and lovely nature and wildlife to see.

Crossed over this bridge quite a few times, always an easy drive. Good views too.

Been left to long with no investment. Would have been better to keep a small charge and keep the bridge in good working order. Approach roads need some serious redesign. Was all built when there was probably a fifth of the traffic

The course of the river was only drawn on a small map. When I clicked on the map & it just enlarged to the usual Google map. The river was not highlighted & it was very difficult to follow.
