Terrible
experience
at
the
Wimbledon
branch
yesterday.
I
was
trying
to
withdraw
a
significant
sum
of
money
at
the
counter.
The
teller
did
the
usual
checks
and
then
proceeded
to
count
the
money
in
a
rushed
fashion
so
quickly
I
couldn't
check
myself
and
he
wasn't
sure
himself.
I
was
a
bit
anxious
as
the
tall
man
customer
at
the
counter
to
my
left
was
watching.
The
teller
then
puts
the
money
on
the
weighing
machine..it
doesn't
tally.
So
he
counts
it
again
and
the
same
thing
happens.
He
keeps
repeating
this
a
total
of
6
times.
I
asked
him
if
there
was
a
problem
and
that
I've
never
had
this
issue
before.
He
proceeds
to
blame
the
'new
notes'
and
then
blames
the
weighing
machine.
At
this
point
I
am
super
anxious
as
the
customer
to
my
left
and
behind
me
realise
I'm
taking
out
quite
a
lot
of
money.
The
teller
then
offers
me
a
room
to
count
the
money
myself.
At
this
point
the
queue
behind
has
grown
and
an
elderly
couple
have
been
waiting
almost
15
mins.
A
customer
behind
me
pipes
up
that
it's
not
a
good
idea
for
me
to
count
the
money
in
a
separate
room
in
case
there
was
an
error.
The
teller
then
proceeds
to
ask
the
lady
teller
to
count
the
money.
She
does
so
at
a
pace
that
I
can
count
&
check
for
myself
and
then
puts
it
on
the
weighing
machine,
it
all
adds
up.
It
took
a
total
of
nearly
25
mins
making
me
late
for
another
appointment.
I
left
the
bank
in
fear
of
being
mugged
as
the
customers
around
me
knew
what
was
happening.
The
man
teller
was
totally
incompetent.
He
lacked
awareness
of
the
risk
he
was
putting
me
at.
From
the
experience
I
had
yesterday
I
don't
know
why
he
is
working
in
a
bank,
he
simply
could
not
count
money
accurately
and
blamed
the
'new
notes'
and
the
weighing
machine
resulting
in
his
fellow
cashier
having
to
count
it
for
him.
I
sincerely
hope
the
manager
of
the
branch
is
aware
of
the
sheer
incompetence
of
this
man.
