    Here for a hearing test, facilities and staff all brilliant. Audiologist could not have been better, explaining all procedures perfectly. Yes, there are parking costs but Β£2.20 for an hour reasonable if it helps nhs.

    Not a nice place To go really,you don't wake up thinking ooh can't wait to get there,but when you are there the staff are very caring & polite makes the visit bareable .only downside is the parking costs!! But hey ho it's everywhere ain't it.

    Attended on 14 Oct 2022. Premises and parking arrangements are excellent, waiting time was zero, urologist combines impressive clinical credentials with exemplary social skills and - big surprise - receptionists were well-mannered!

    Visited yesterday for cataract check up was really impressed staff were lovely but me at easy straight away Mr morgan was a gentleman explained every thing he did asked if wanted to ask anything a true gentleman who put me at ease very impressed with this hospital A*****

    I went to Belmont the taxi fare is expensive from Stanley and when Sunderland and Durham emalgamated I was told no extra expense would occur it costed more its ridiculous all lies anyway had my treatment nurses doctors great but no drinks or a sandwich for a patient fortunetly I took my own food and a drink but no where to eat it I am an insulin dependant diabetic and there is no cafe to sit in I ate them outside nobody to help you when you go to desk N I went to the day unit at Durham for this procedure the nurses were on hand to make sure I was OK and made sure I had a drink and food.I wouldn't go back here. Very clinical and no help at all

    I was treated by a very friendly and helpful staff and exceptionally good medical team who work in a light and very modern building. A pleasant experience for a slightly unpleasant procedure. Thank you all.

    Staff have been second to none every time I have visited. Very professional and friendly. Also, the site provides a very convenient extension of hospital services in the area and is easy to reach from both the A1 and A19. Definately worth travelling an extra few miles.

    Female receptionist has terrible attitude,enquired about transport for a 90 year old lady as she was worried about catching the virus getting in a car or on the bus,the receptionist replied in a very abrupt way WERE NOT A TAXI SERVICE.It was just a simple inquiry on behalf of an old lady,terrible staff member,ignorant with no customer care skills and needs to be sacked or trained how to be a receptionist.

    Had an appointment for a CT at 7pm they phoned asked if I could come at 3pm instead which is fine but yet I was made to sit in the waiting room for almost an hour..

    Waited an hour with husband to be told his procedure was cancelled due to a medication mix up. Very disappointing and preventable. Centre was nice and clean though.

    It was easy to get to. A large waiting room and slight wait for you to get called in for your appointment. The staff were very nice and put me at my ease straight away.

    Been coming for around a year with mam for her wet eye injections. Lovely clean place and mam says the staff are lovely who do the procedures. I’ve always found the staff at the front desk helpful, and the waiting room is ok as waiting rooms go. Parking free for blue badge holders (just register at the desk and your number plate is valid for free parking for 2 years). I’m not sure how much parking is otherwise.

    My husband recieved app 2 days before ,to attend this centre on sat at 6pm,while he was at work on sat morning he recieved a phone call stating machine was not working, and would have to be closed down,then went on to ask if he could attend now πŸ€”???My husband now has to wait again it has already taken 3months

    My husband has used this centre recently and we have both been very impressed with service given. Excellent staff who are thankfully very knowledgeable in their field with great facilities and prompt diagnosis and appointments. What I would say is if you get a phone call asking you to go in for an appointment the next day, don't necessarily think it's bad news, they just want to get you seen as soon as possible. Mercifully that was the case with hubby πŸ₯‚
