Great staff, very helpful when I asked about a problem my Shubunkin has. They said I can take some tank water to them and they will test it without charge. They also said they will do a skin scrape without charge and if my fish needs antibiotics they would inject him and the cost for that is £20.00. It is exceptionally clean. The prices are competitive. I took my Shubunkin to the shop the next day and they did test the water for all the parameters and do a skin scrape without charge. Fortunately my Shubunkin did not have any issues with parasites. My water PH was low so I bought a buffer that cost £5.99. So thats all it cost me. Would highly recommend.

My first experience here, my yoyo loach was showin signs of illness & went here for advice the staff are so helpful & knowledgeable!! The young lady serving was a star! And fingers crossed the products I was advised to use work and make him a little better! Thanks guys will definitely be coming to your shop for any further purchases of fish in the future & anything else. Best aquatics shop I’ve been to in a while. Definitely a permanent choice of place for me in the future!

I admit I have never purchased anything from this shop as I was just killing time waiting to collect my motor from an adjoining unit. It is clinically clean, well laid out and lovely displays. Pity is is tucked away here so as not to get more footfall. If I were to restart fishkeeping I'd definately come here for my stock.

I love this place. Tanks are always clean and the livestock are always healthy. Staff are always knowledgeable on both the pond and tropical sides. If im heading out to buy fish, complete koi is my first port of call. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻

A little hidden gem plenty of stock, I bought a couple of fish from here live stock tanks are kept very clean. Mainly go in for my aquascaping they have a good range at a very good price. The shop keeper is full of knowledge, which is always handy.

These guys went out of their way to fulfil my order for pink gravel which is for my daughter's wedding. Nothing to do with fish I might add. Thank you very much. 💯

Well what a brilliant experience. Why can't all companys be like this! Easy to navigate website. Great price certainly on my aqua 1 purchase and great comunications, follow up calls and emails telling me when to expect my order and the courier company couldn't have been better too, again phone calls and delivery times were welcome and spot on. The tank was a retirement treat to myself and I definitely picked the right company for my order. Couldn't have had a better treatment from these guys. Brilliant.

We called in today after reading the reviews on Google. I had high hopes of a great experience and I was not disappointed. Whilst we did not want to buy today we were looking for info and advice on a new set up. The young man we spoke to gave us his time and shared his vast knowledge with us. The place was super clean and the fish stock looked the healthiest of any we have seen. We will be returning when we are ready to purchase and if you are looking for a high quality outlet for koi, tropical fish, aquariums etc then this is the place to head without a doubt.

We have been in a few times since starting our first tank and the staff are always super helpful, especially the young lady who takes the time to fully explain everything in detail for us. I'm already planning my upgrade and will be exclusively using these guys for everything 😂

Not new to the hobby but definitely rusty. Set up a 64l tank for girlfriend's disabled son, decided to go with liverbearers. To start with we got 4 platys and 2 panda mollies. Got told our water was fine and conditions were good. The lady was helpful, however, issues started when the mollies were acting abnormal, found that they were covered in whitespot within the 24 hours. Had to quarantine and treat a brand new tank because of this. I had my reservations when I saw a lot of tanks under quarantine. Don't know if I can trust again. Just look at the fish before you buy from a tank is the lesson learned here.

Excellent aquarium. There are other local aquariums that I wont mention by name, that are very popular. In comparison this place is a palace. Knowledge staff, well priced, very clean and a good selection of fish. This is a little hidden away gem thats well worth searching for

Prices and cleanliness much better than Dave's. They also did me a free water test. I'm now a loyal customer. Very helpful friendly and knowledgeable.

Friendly staff always willing to give the best advice on my tank set up and fish choices. They have plenty of stock of pond fish, cold water, tropical and marine fish too. Always nice to have a mooch around.

This is one of the best stores for Kois and their equipment. Vast choice of Kois. Charlie knows everything about kois and all the filter equipment. I went to 3 Aquatics Stores in Blackburn and they couldn't help me but Charlie not only sorted my problem but made the pipe adaptor connector for me. This is what you call great service. Keep it up Charlie.

Couldn't recommend them enough. Not only is their store clean, the animals well cared for, the staff are friendly, but they have an amazing variety of fish and are incredibly knowledgeable with all things concerned. I came in after having my fish started to die with no apparent reason. They tested the water and did a scrape which diagnosed white-spot. They let me see this through the microscope and provided all the necessary information and guidance. They even let my curious 8 year old look too and recommended the best treatment (the treatments are all reasonably priced too). I am yet to come across another shop that offer scrapes and without it my entire 300l tank would have died. So thank you to Martin and your colleague who helped this afternoon your help is really appreciated

Purchased an aquarium from here, and later went back to buy some fish. Cannot fault this place. After shopping around a lot before buying, we have definitely found the best place. Very helpful. Very friendly. Fantastic selection at good prices. Highly recommend.

This place appears to have changed hands!! :-( I purchased a few new fish, buying 3 for £10 and 6 other small fish, because I specifically asked for 3 females, two came out of one tank and one came out of a tank with a dead one at the bottom, which I pointed out and the young lad, just said “oh it happens” I should have refused but trusted him , I have now lost all of my fish. Very very unhappy and will never use this shop again, several of my fish were over 5 years old. I have kept tropical fish for over 20 years and never had anything like this discussed, I tried a fin rot type treatment without any success, nothing else had changed or done differently in last 6 months it could only have been adding this infected fish. I am utterly heartbroken Now having spoken to Charlie in the shop, he has offered to replace all my fish free of charge, he apologised and said I shouldn’t have been given a fish from a tank where one was dead. So looking forward to at least having my tank replenished thank you

What can I say? Wonderful place with expert, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Les helped me solve a problem I was having with my filter (which I had picked up somewhere else - which I regret!) and was incredibly thorough in working out what was wrong. Complete Koi is now absolutely my destination of choice for aquatics in the northwest - will definitely be back!

Wanted some snails and shrimps for my aquarium. Sadly no shrimp, but got three beautiful Ramshorn snails. Customer service was very good, the shop is well stocked and very clean. All the fish and tanks looked healthy and well maintained. I definitely recommend this shop.

Tropical fish looked healthy enough, apart from one dead one which should have been seen and removed because the tanks were being cleaned. The fish we bought have all settled in and look healthy enough in our tank at home. The koi looked in good health. Staff were helpful, informative and pleasant. The store was well laid out and clean.

Clean and well kept. Fish are healthy and properly cared for. Love the fact they prefer you to bring a water sample before selling you fish to ensure water is adequate for them. Excellent knowledgeable staff too.

As I understand it this is not a long standing business having opened just before the COVID-19 lockdown, and so were effectively on hold for quite a while. They have put together a very nice retail package with well stocked tanks of healthy koi in a clean and controlled environment. There is also a good selection of marginal pond plants. Plants not in stock can be ordered. We visited Complete Koi and Aquatics on two occasions. Each time we found the staff friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. This is not an aquatic megastore but if koi are your interest you will not be disappointed.
