My three daughters have been attending this amazing dance school since they learnt to walk! My oldest now being 10. I couldn't imagine taking them anywhere else. Wallace dance academy is very much part of their family and they love every minuite. I also attended for 10 years and dancing was my life untill work commitments got in the way. The teachers always give 100% effort into everything and are always happy to help.

This is an excellent dance school and would highly recommend. The only drawback is the lack of parking

Fantastic dance school the teachers are brilliant it's like having an extended family so friendly do exam and shows every 18 months at pomegranate such amazing place for my daughter to spend time and learn at the same time ballet tap acro,modern,jazz,musical theatre

Well what can I say... my daughter has just done her 3rd show with WDA and it was amazing!! Throughly enjoyed it.. especially watching my daughter grow in confidence and it's all down to the teacher's.. it's a brilliant Dance school well run by Kirsty.. well done to everyone who helps the school run to its high standards! 👍 well done girls and boys keep up the good work xx

Both myself and my daughter dance at Wallace Dance Academy. The school has gone from strength to strength driven by their incredible teachers. It has a family ethos with each and every child being treated with care, understanding and empathy. The teachers are absolutely amazing and manage to get the best out of everyone. It caters for all ages and levels. I would thoroughly recommend the school to any parent who wants their child to experience dance to come and try it. Although their primary teaching is dance, it also helps children with their confidence, shows them how to work as a team and gain some life long friendships.

My oldest daughter has been going to Wallace Dance Academy for almost 3 years, since she was 2. She started out in baby ballet/tots, and was in her first show last winter. She has grown so much in confidence through dancing. The teachers are all fantastic, so supportive and always give the time to give an encouraging word. My youngest daughter also now attends, and they are fantastic with her- she's not the easiest of children to keep focused! Would definitely recommend to others :)

My daughter has been with WDA for 2 years now and absolutely adores it. Her confidence has improved beyond belief and she has blossomed into a lovely little dancer. She's made lots of friends and loves her teachers. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Both my daughters have attended this school for atleast 6 years, over the years it has become a very welcoming dance school for me to bring them. The teachers are always helpful and always approachable..they cater for all childrens needs and abilities..i always will recommend this school to others....

Brilliant dance school. The teachers know all the kids and their strengths and weaknesses and work with them to improve so the kids progress and fulfil their potential . The amount of work they put in behind the scenes to put on a show is incredible, their passion for dance and music is really evident. My daughter and son have loved dancing here.

The Wallace Dance Academy show on Monday 14th was just magical. The costumes were amazing, the choreography and dancing was first class. From infant to adults they gave a spectacular show. Overall a truly enjoyable and inspirational experienced I'm glad I was given the chance of a ticket.

I have been at this dance school since I was 2 years old (25 years!!!!) and I could not be more proud of such a kind and welcoming environment. Growing up with my dancing family has been the best thing ever! I've learnt so much as a student here and can proudly say I am now a teacher here too, as well as continuing with my own learning for taking my teachers exams!

What can I say this school is the BEST in Chesterfield!!! My daughter has just finished her second show and loved every minute. All staff are amazing. Parents are kept informed about everything that is happening and my little girl has made lots of lovely friends and has bags of confidence! If my youngest daughter follows in her big sisters footsteps I will not hesitate in sending her here.

There can't ever be a bad word to be said about WDA. My daughter's confidence has grown and grown! The teachers are amazing and very supportive. Your made to feel very welcome and any worries or concerns are dealt with first hand. You just can't be disappointed. The shows are also beautiful.

WDA is an amazing dance school. My daughter has been going for just over a year now and she absolutely loves it! She's 3 now and the teachers are not only brilliant at what they do, but are really patient with the children. I couldn't imagine taking my daughter anywhere else for her ballet & tap lessons.

I don't normally write reviews however my daughter has recently started with Wallace dance academy and she is 5years old. I contacted a lot of the Dance schools around chesterfield to get very brief replies and didn't really tempt me into taking my daughter. However when I emailed Kirsty she replied straight away with a really friendly and welcoming email. I started my daughter the following week. My daughter lacks in confidence and struggles to mix with other children (one of the reasons I wanted her to start dancing) and to be honest I think I expected to feel a bit out of place and unsure with what to do myself, but I have to say everyone is so friendly and make such an effort to make you feel welcome I really can't praise them anymore. It really is a lovely environment to be in.

Myself and my daughter dance at Wallace School of Dance. The school has a family friendly approach and all the students from the babies to the adults are cared for and made to feel as important as the next person the school. All abilities are catered for and nurtured along the way. I constantly tell friends and family about how well the school is run by Kirsty Stevenson with the massive help of Lisa Green and the student teachers. I recommend the dance school without any reservation. Fantastic atmosphere, brilliant teachers, excellent ethos for teaching and learning.

My daughter has been coming here for around 18 months, and she has come on leaps and bounds and loves to dance here. She has just participated in her first show & I was so proud & overwhelmed at how much confidence she has from coming here. The staff are amazing & really do teach very well, I can pick no faults!. Wouldn't send my daughter anywhere else to dance anymore, even my youngest who is only 2.5 will hopefully be starting here soon!. Would absolutely recommend Wallace Dance Academy!.

My daughter started dancing here in March, just in time to be in her first show which was an amazing experience for her and myself to watch. She loves going to class each week, has made lots of new friends and has fantastic teachers. A welcoming happy environment and I could not have chosen a better dance school to take her to.

I have only just started dancing at wallace dance academy a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it there. The teachers are absolutely amazing and really help their students to reach their full potential in whatever style of dance that they are doing and they are really kind and caring.
