Fantastic little gem of a pet shop, great helpful staff with An amazing selection of coldwater tropical and marine fish and equipment , nice selection of reptiles if that's your thing and loads around the back for the outdoor fish enthusiasts.

Spoke with one of the shop assistants, and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I told him what I needed, and within minutes, I was on my way to collect the pump. You can tell these guys have a passion for what they do, and I'll definitely recommend them in the future.

Been going to these guys for years... Alway been fair and honest... Sometimes talking them self's out of a sale. E. G today new tank owner want some fish. The tank had only been set up 2 days. They advised the couple not to and gave them advice for when The tank was ready. Don't useally write reviews, so consider me impressed.

Best shop for me out of the two...staff once again though all willing to help..lovely marine setups im wanting to swing to that hobby so thats what i paid attention to more..while my girlfriends prefers the gold fish...everything you could possible need in one store excellent

These guys are absolutely amazing, really helpful, they listen to what you want then give you loads of options to suit you. There stock more than enough to choose from also there live stock is awesome. Tropical fish, salt water fish, reptiles, they are definitely worth a visit.

Very good lay out in store with a huge choice, great price on the tropical fish and a good choice too. Staff very knowledgeable and welcoming. The plants are realy healthy and at £2.95 for a large bunch you carnt go wrong.

Best marine fish shop ever

Pros: - Really healthy reptiles in clean enclosures. All at fair prices. They were also feeding them lovely selections of greens when I was there. - Same with marine fish. - Extremely friendly staff. Cons - First time I went in someone was smoking indoors for some reason, whether he was staff or not I couldn't tell but he wasn't asked to stop. - Tropical fish are mixed dreadfully, male bettas in the same tank, discus being bullied by livebearers, bettas in plastic party cups and Pea Puffers in a main tank to name a few. - Brackish fish sold as fresh water. - Tropical fish prices... £2.50 for Neon was a stand out Its a lovely shop and I think it would be amazing but it has a feeling like the tropical fish have been forgot about while they focus on excelling their other areas.

Aqua inn have 2 shops that I know off one in Barnsley it's self right outside the interchange on Midland street and the other is in wombell both are fantastic shops with people who are very helpful and reliable when you ask for advice and you are always made to feel welcome when you go into there shops a big thank you for all your help and advice over the years that I have used your services give them a try you won't regret it

Shop sold me fish full of disease and finrot. Had tank for five years with no problems. Introduced fish from this shop. Five fish I’ve had for years plus all the fish I bought from this shop died within 2 weeks when I’ve never had any problems before I bought fish from here

Everything from food to bedding , They have everything you could ever want or need for any pet. Plus the pet as long as it's not a cat or dog ,😄 but they still have everything you would need for them.

We purchased an axolotl for our daughter for Xmas here and the guy in the shop was very helpful and knowledgeable. Since this purchase we have been back to by tropical fish and crabs. A real pleasure buying from this shop and would recommend to anyone. Also the shop doesn’t look much from the outside but it’s very well set up inside and like an Aladdin’s cave. Very well stocked too.

I've just started a tropical fish tank with my son, so we called in to see what's on offer, first thing I notice is crowded it was with fish stuff, you couldn't get many people in. Second the price's as gone up since I had fish before, put it this way you don't get much for £10. In fact you don't get much more for £20 lol the fish looked healthy tanks are clean, the Shop keeper welcoming and friendly lot's of information about fish so you in good hands here so if you want good fish try here bit cheaper than others places nearby.

Visited 3 local pet shops looking for some cold water fish, this place was by a mile the best not only had the biggest variety but the staff took time to explain what we needed,,,, I ended up opting for tropical fish, I will be back next weekend with a water sample once our tank settles in for our new fish

Id give half a star if possible, i phoned twice asking to reserve a winter white dwarf hamster, both times told i would be able to come in Saturday and pick up, i get there and told they solt them off. Terrible management.
