The staff here are absolutely brilliant, they make shopping for paint a pleasure and can't do enough to help. Over the years I have returned to always find them such a lovely bunch. I have a front door the colour of my milk jug and now a bench the colour of my french enamel bucket all scanned and mixed by these lovely people .A big thankyou.

A BIG thankyou to Marcus, Shaun and Steve for all the help, advice and patience you have given me over recent weeks. This is the first time I've used Dulux Trade paint and the difference in quality and coverage compared to a standard ready mix tin from B & Q etc is incredible. I will always use trade paint in future as it is well worth the slight extra cost as fewer coats are needed and more durable. The guys are very knowledgeable, friendly and professional and create a lovely atmosphere in the shop. You don't feel pressurised to make a purchase or have a time limit when browsing etc. I'm a very happy customer both with the brill service I received and the quality of my paint. The staff in this shop are the friendliest and most helpful people you could hope to meet. I went in for a litre of some very boring exterior paint which I’d phoned up about to check stock, and they made my day. Really attentive, good advice, can’t fault them.

Came to Chesterfield to carry out a couple of jobs for relatives in the area. We needed some border the ladies inside were very helpful and friendly and made phone calls to ensure we could purchase at another shop.

Myself and my partner recently bought our new home and found the whole task of painting quite daunting as we knew nothing about the process. We were recommended to used dulux decorator centre in Chesterfield and we were taken back by how knowledgeable and friendly the staff were. They talked us through the process and what we would need. Today was the second time I have visited the Decorator Centre and both times I have been equally impressed with the choice, availability of product and also staff helpfulness. Today I was served by Sarah (I think - it says Sarah on my receipt)! She was so helpful and friendly, from greeting me on entry to asking me if I needed help and also offering advice on the ranges in store as well as personally finding me a selection of colours to look at based on my descriptions. I have just tested the Raw Cashmere Heritage Colour on my office wall next to the Egyptian Cotton I had previously swatched and I am so impressed. The colour is absolutely perfect for what I wanted and the quality of the paint is outstanding. It’s a pricey pot of paint but well worth it. Thank you again to the lovely lady who helped me today!
