I'm fairly new to the whole fish keeping world but I have to say I have been massively impressed with these guys. Above all the fish absolutely come first. They asked questions and properly tested water before issuing fish. This was extremely useful as the tank had not fully finished cycle although the test strips were not picking up ammonia levels. They gave me advice on how to improve the water condition. I have never seen better looking or healthier fish. Decided on a Betta and colour and fins are amazing. I have received many comments regarding how good condition the fish is in. They're customer service skills we're excellent. I had a six year old with me who was a little disappointed when we realised water was not quite ready. They interacted with my little girls and explained the situation. The reserved the fish and put my daughter name on the tank. We took several trips into the shop as they were so accommodating. I personally feel the cost of their fish is very reasonable for the excellent quality of fish you receive along with their time and advice. You never feel rushed and nothing is too much hassle. I feel that this is much more like a family run shop with great experience and care. Not just the money making machines in more mainstream chain stores. I will make all my purchases from this shop and would not hesitate to recommend to new or experienced fish keepers.

Best aquarium store in central Scotland. Excellent choice of Bettas at reasonable prices. Tanks always seem to be clean with healthy stock. It's a wee bit tight inside!

Lovely fish shop, tanks looked immaculate and the guys were lovely, really knowledgeable and I seen them test people's water and advise not to buy fish as the tank wasn't cycled, plenty of folk would just take the money and run. The fish were the cheapest iv seen in ages to. Absolutely loved that they don't recommend plecs and other huge growing fish for small tanks!! Only thing id point out (i doubt its the shops fault) is I Googled Marine fish shops so I thought there were salt water fish and there wasn't any but a good selection of plants and live food along with other accessories. Would definitely go back and recommend them. The fish shop is all the way out the back of the garden centre.

Fantastic store , the fish tanks where spotlessly clean and well stocked and good prices just wish I didn't live 230 miles away otherwise I would have bought some cherry shrimp 5 for £20 👍🏼

Great shop. Staff ( all of them ) really know what they are talking about and recommending. Friendly service and a good atmosphere in the shop. The tanks of Tropical & Coldwater fish are IMMACULATE. Been a customer for years and totally happy which is a miracle for a crabbit old guy like me!

Brilliant fish shop, lots of different species to choose from. Sometimes have the more unusual aquatic pets as well. Their advice has always been great and very helpful whenever i have been in, they take the time to explain things to you and give you advice on the particular fish/item you are purchasing. Use this shop the most and its over an hours round trip, but very worth it. Especially the peace of mind that you are getting a fish that is right for your setup.

Was blown away with the amount of stuff in the shop. What a selection of well everything. Top quality fish and ally who served me was super helpful. Don't go anywhere else for your aquatic needs.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, Richie is very knowledgeable and goes over and above to help. The fish we have bought from here have always been in great condition and made a great addition to our fish tank. This is our go to place.

This is one of my favourite fish shops to visit! I didn't know it was here until a relative told me it was tucked behind Williamsons garden centre. Definitely worth a visit. It's full to the brim with everything you could ever need, A great selection of fish and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and super helpful 😁

Could not recommended enough. We were complete newbies to tropical fish and the team were full of information and even looked over pictures we sent them to give us advice. We all have our talents, these guys are 100% Aquariums.

If you live far but definitely want fish this place is absolutely worth the trip, although just going for the enviorment itself is great - a cozy lfs feel, yet professional and much cleaner than those in Edinburgh when they were still around. Extremely well stocked on dry supplies and small planted tank fish species, happily offered to order new species, and only place around edinburgh with proper shrimp afaik. I absolutely must say what a great shop! A very friendly service and knowledgeable staff.

Best aquarium store I’ve visited yet👏🏼 Great amount of healthy fish and aquascaping materials. The selection of bettas is amazing, something that’s hard to find in most shops! Staff are really friendly too, I’ll 100% be coming back for my next fish.

Definitely the best fish shop I've been to sofar! My Mrs was there for a far while trying to decide what Betta she wanted out of there amazing selection!
