Avoid this place as much as you can. After Vodafone failed eSIM swap (leaving us without active SIM despite being charged for the contract), we were directed there by a customer service rep from the helpline. The experience was horrific. The manager of this place - Chris - told us that "the situation is our fault" (yes ... this is actually what he said... I asked if I could record this but he refused...), "we should use online rather than bother them" "if we don't like it we should change phone provider"... seriously I have never seen such lousy service... never coming back for sure... as it was such an unpleasant experience due to the least professional manager I have ever met... Vodafone should consider their hiring policies... As a result (of this experience and the general inability of Vodafone to activate eSIM, leaving us without a phone line), after 15 years - we are moving our 8 lines to EE, which apparently has better coverage... not that Vodafone cares... sad... PS - in another shop in Silverburn - to be frank - a young lady has solved the problem in 2 minutes. The address on Vodafone system was old that’s why the card did not verify it. Guys at Buchanan Store (manager Chris) had no clue how to solve this… In Silverburn we went out with a working SIM card straight to next door EE store where we got a cheaper plan offering more for 2 of our lines so far … at least now my wife and daughter have good plans …. I am still stuck with Vodafone - hope I’ll survive but will update everyone in the future … anyway avoid Chris and his shop on Buchanan street - it may put you and your whole family off…

Terrible

this is not a review of the shop as much as of Vodafone. I ordered an iPhone 11 pro max on the 20th of august. As of the 9th of September I still had not received it(a £49 deposit was taken from my account on the 8th) and was told that I would have to wait a few more weeks. I cancelled my order on the 13th of October. I was told on the 23rd of October they had failed to cancel my order and I had to cancel it again - the guy from the complaints team said he'd phone me back - but he never did. It is currently the 3rd of November and due to this money being out of my account I had gone into overdraft and I am STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND with no offer of compensation from Vodafone. I understand they have a lot of customers, but this is a company to avoid.

staff are so friendly. i was well looked after today by Murray and he was amazing ! was in and out with no complications with my partners new phone. cant recommend them enough.

Staff member was extremely helpful young lady. Who assisted my wife in purchasing a new phone. Assistance was first class. I have been with Vodafone for a good number of years. I have always been impressed by this company. So now my wife is also in agreement with me. Service was excellent and definitely no complaints.

I got scammed! I told the people I wanted the cheapest package they offered that allowed international calling to Canada. They sell me a package, and then when I try calling my family back home, I get notified that I'm going to get charged for the call. I didn't want any data or anything, the only thing I needed which I made very clear was calling to Canada, and they failed to provide this. Terrible experience.

Nice people working there. Unfortunately store people can't access nor do much, we still have to call customer servicd so not sure why they have stores.

Fix my phone

My partner had set an account up with her name and my bank card, wasn’t a problem the first time we took a phone out, this was maybe like 5 days ago, it was one of the supervisors that had done this. Today we went in and we’re told off someone else that this wasn’t aloud and they can’t process further what we were after due to the name on the card being different and would need the other card for id. Even though her bank card wasn’t present to begin with. And the bank card had to have been in her name. Which he never checked the name on the bank card in the first place what should have been done so we never had this problem. The guy was very nice, but if everyone had done it properly in the first place it would’ve been fine. We traveled out here instead of close to home as the service the last time was great.

Soft spoken and good staff but they lack basic courtesy of allowing people in and making them sit before takin up the query. The installation time for Broadband is high for all providers in general.

Great staff, well organized shop, minimal allowed in but customers treated with with respect and given the time they needed. Special shot out to Murray from the Tech Team, with the patience of a saint, for helping an older lady with hearing problems through her purchase of a new phone.

I literally cannot say enough nice things about the people that work here - Toby, Josh and Murray were the most helpful, understanding and friendly people I’ve ever encountered in a phone shop. They helped me with my phone issue and were so kind when I had to come back to get my phone again, they gave me a number to call to help resolve my issue and aided me through the process, advising me on what to say/do to ensure i received the proper help. This store is definitely the place to go to if you’re having issues with your phone or anything. Thank you so much for your help!

Went in for some information about an upgrade staff were friendly and very helpful but everything is done online now so unless u need help with getting online to do it you pretty much do it yourself

Very rude female staff. I waited at the door an a assistant came out, I want a charger cable and told no we dont have that ( despite the fact that I could see them on display) try Primark and quickly shut the door. I think she was getting a kick out of being rude.😡

Very efficient team in the Glasgow store

Customer support executive was very helpful. I went to get new broadband connection, but application got rejected. This could be since I am new to Glasgow. Also cannot reapply for another 90 days. During this corono issue, Working from home becomes a challenge due to this kind of checks in place for getting a broadband connection. I hope Vodafone bring some relaxation during these time.

Fantastic location on the corner the store stickes out with corner shop. Big clear windows spotless with nice corporate display. Good clean and tidy store with freindly staff and great range phones on display. If your in town pop in and check out the special deals they have on offer. the image was taken in Sept. Ask what special deals they have on or managers special. you might just get a bargain.

One to avoid. Those who I assume were meant to be on "welcome" duty the two times I had the misfortune of attempting to buy a phone there were anything but welcoming and seemed to view their customers as an inconvenience. The result - confusion and aborted visits on the part of myself and other customers on both occasions. The female member of staff who eventually served me the second time was pleasant enough even though she couldn't help. Some urgent staff training required I would suggest.
