They call the church The Needle of Kent. Tall thin and very visible spire. I was there for a lovely concert by Solomon's Knot. Early music singing combo. Amazing

Nice church, simple but highly spiritual service. There was an opportunity for congregants to mix and bond together after service in a room where tea, coffee and snacks ate provided for everybody free of charge. Hymns and songs are rendered solemnly and clearly with the all choir in attendant. Holiday treat and workshops were organised for the children too at summer. Good church.

Been attending this church for about 16 years...it's a welcoming place with a great community and a congregation that spans the age spectrum. Rev Sandy Christie provides stimulating and thought provoking sermons in an accessible way.

We attended a beautiful wedding ceremony at St Michael's recently. The church and service were lovely. Whilst the family photographs were being taken in the grounds, quite a few of us, including very elderly guests, stayed inside the church to shield from the freezing weather. We were asked to leave. We explained that it was freezing outside, and there were elderly guests that needed to sit down. We asked if we could stay for a bit longer. We were told NO the church was closing, and NO, we couldn't take shelter. We were ushered out into the icy winds. The lights were turned off, the doors were shut, and the gates locked. I guess Gods doors are not always open St Michael's
