Always seem to be closed - came in Monday at 1.45pm, sign on the window says they are open 9-1 on Mondays and 9-3 Tuesday to Friday, I've come again on Wednesday and their opening hours have changed again! It now says they are open everyday until 3pm except Wednesday when they are closed... Website says something completely different. Wasting people's time!

This is what I was greeted with when I was directed to the local Halifax building society, courtesy of the location stated on my navigation system for the address from the Halifax’s official branch locator website. I could not see anything resembling a Halifax building society when I arrived at the aforementioned location. I had a quick look around the immediate vicinity, in the hope I would get lucky. I even looked inside the dustbin in case the cash point was lurking inside (anything is possible in Swinton)!! Unfortunately I did not find any building society, but I did find a half finished KFC and an empty bottle of white lightning, so all was not in vain!! Easily accessible for wheelchair and disabled people. Until I find out where the branch is located, I really cannot recommend !

It's never open... Turned up as Google said it was opened and it was closed. Checked the door which stated the opening times, turned up another day and it was still closed. Considering leaving Halifax for another bank as this is my only local one.

Good service excellent staff but wish they would bring back the counter as I have a account with a book and have to go Walkden branch (4miles) and back to update it Swinton precinct is busier than Walkden

The staff are unbelievably rude. Not in the slightest bothered about their customers. I won’t be banking with Halifax after today. I pretty much got told it’s my fault as a customer that he’s losing his job. Was told I cannot take more than £50 out of my own account even though I had my passport with me but was told I could transfer as much as I like to another account to withdraw money and the reason for this is to reduce fraud?!! Explain the sense in that to me? If it wasn’t my account it would still be fraud if I transferred it!! All the staff had terrible attitudes.

The robbing bank !!!! I would give this minus 50 stars if I could. I recently used the cash machine to withdraw some money, the machine started making the noise like it was counting the money, but then the machine said “ we can’t process this at this time , contact your card issuer “ , so no money was given. I tried the machine next to it , it said the same thing . I checked my online bank , only to see the money withdrawn. After numerous calls to my bank Barclays , they said they have to send them an email of dispute, and I have to wait 12 days for a response. This is not acceptable because it’s not thier money at all . Not as if I can lie to a machine or cctv that’s on every cash machine 🤬🤬🤬

It's open from 9 - 2pm and doesn't open on a Saturday morning. Some of us have to work and I finish work at 2pm and your not open on a Saturday, I cannot get in to see you and you can't talk over the phone about matters, useless!!!

Won't be open much longer have to drive further afield to collect money will look to swap banks.
