I have just been again to wickes at Clifton as I always do..... But it's my last visit.....EVER. I purchased as usual wood for my joinery projects also needed some clamps so I picked up the last SET that come as a pair or as per checkout 2Pc. I questioned the lady at the checkout when she was charging me £8.40 each and pointed out it's a 2 piece set @ £8.40....I will go and check, she went and checked came back and said that I was right. When I got home I thought my bill was high....she charged me £16.80. So for that £8.40 rip off its cost you alot more. Never going again and I urge anybody who goes...CHECK YOUR RECEIPT even when they know your right.

17 weeks after work started on my new kitchen its still not complete, the contractor who was doing the job gave up and left it unfinished 6 weeks in...while kitchen needs ripping out and starting again. Wickes customer relations team are useless send don't respond to emails and rarely answer the phone. Absolute joke, trading standards are gonna be informed for sure. Pics will follow of their shoddy workmanship

Wickes is my first choice DIY but this place was a shambles. Priced missing of 30% of the items. One till open in the morning with a massive queue of people. They were dealing with a customer service issue 😳🤯🤬 three other staff but none willing to open a till 😤 I spent £9 and got charged £67 so they had to sort that out 😖 Not a great shopping experience 🙄 Loads of parking easy to find. If it's better next time I will edit the review.

Staff are very rude, one cashier turned her back on me to discuss what she wanted for lunch for 2 minutes. I could have walked out without paying and she wouldn’t even have cared, but I left them and walked out. Today another cashier, no hello, no would you like a bag, just snatched the small items out my hands and then threw them on the counter took the money and walked away. Items are always out of stock and shelves are always have the incorrect stock in place. I used to work for wickes 15 years ago and standards have dropped big time. It’s unfortunate I can’t give no stars. I will not be shopping there again.

Needed to return something from online. Took an age (15+ mins) for the manager to refund. Not good communication with me or good training from Wickes about how to do their own internal procedures. Manager was frosty throughout. Staff need headsets as not enough to do their jobs etc.

Bought a kitchen from this place 12 month's ago still not finished crack in the sink a replacement was sent and that's been stuck in my garage for 12 month's the flooring which was put down is a mess and will have to be replaced this was bought on finance they have activated the payments even thought ive said it's not been finished and they are not willing to set up a defurral to hold the payments back ,a quick update to the previous review it's now over two years since the kitchen and floor were fitted nothing has changed still no floor leveller put down absolutely nothing has changed from the previous picture's other than we finally took the wrap of the unit's, wickes have told me that they were sending someone out to fix the above problems but they failed to show up so twice I had to drag out the appliances for nothing they have told me it will be rectified next year, I'm not holding my breath

I was served by an extremely helpful lady at 12.09 on 2/10/22 ref 03 - 2620. This lady went above and beyond what was expected of her, she insisted on wheeling my trolley to my car and helped to unload the soil into my car boot. She is a credit to Wickes as her personality and Cistomer care was outstanding.

It's not as large as B&Q but their selection of kitchens and bathrooms is set up beautifully. When you're getting ready to renovate or go back to brick and redo, their showroom, free catalogues, and samples really help you visualise your space. Also their own brand of tough and washable and grease proof, tough and washable for walls and ceilings or kitchens, is fantastic paint. It covers like a dream and really does let you wipe off finger prints, grease and a whole lot without taking the paint with you.

Lisa is a star. Served me twice this week. Helpful and friendly. Other stores could learn a lot from her. Thank you!

Terrible bathroom service. Went through all the time consuming planning, only to be messed about with the fitting. The contractor told us completely different arrangements and time scale etc. unorganised and had no confidence in their ability.

Went to pick up a click and collect order. Got there for it to be cancelled... no contact just a refund. Customer service lacking. Store itself seems well stocked and well laid out.

Staff not supportive, asked 3 different people before I could find the item I was looking for

absolutely terrible. out of 4 click and collects i have done at this store, 3 of them items have been broken. Step ladders bent, broom broken and split and just today tool box clip broken so half of the tool box is not functional. do these people here not check items before customers collect them? no inter branch transfers anymore meaning they can't get one ordered into the store but I have to travel further for the tool box required. claimed they called me today however i have proved that was not the case so they lied. i will not be using click and collect here again. very disappointed.

Sort of helpful rang to inquire about a product and was like no no don't have any of that very fast and slightly annoyed tone (might be having a bad day personal/work we all have them or could be busy in the store) but I've had good experience in the past better than B&Q more staff in store to help in B&Q only staff I see in there are on the tills a tiny little bit of advice slow down on the phone and teeny tiny little bit more manners then flawless service 👍

Had everything I needed and then some .I'm going back for more . The staff are very helpful and professional and looked after my needs 10 out of 10 for service

The store is fine, except it has no working customer toilets. For a DIY store it's really poor, my advice is go to b&q instead where they value their customers.

Visited this store couple days ago, looking at kitchen worktops, & really wanted to put this review on for Lee (kitchen assistant). He was SO helpful, knowledgeable & informative. Keep hold of him Wickes, not often you find someone as pleasant as him.

It's OK, just like other Wickes stores, nothing exciting and a lot very dusty shelves and products, also plenty of products-out of stock. They should improve all this things.

Popped in to pick up a flouresent tubelight, emitting a cool white light as opposed to warm white. Staff were most helpful to direct me to my exact requirements plus checkout was fast, efficient plus most friendly. Most impressed!

After purchasing a new bathroom from this store we had a door that was damaged and decided to go in store to try sort it out as it might be quicker. We approached a women from the sales team who very rudely said she had no time for this!!! and passed us on to someone els. With staff like this it's a wounder they ever get sales
