Dr May is amazing at what she does. I have acupuncture and deep tissue massage as i have quite a severe spine complaint. I go weekly at the moment and I can feel myself getting more and more movement each visit. The treatments are very reasonably priced and they actually work unlike alot of alternatives out there. I'm so glad I went here even being a bit freaked out over the whole needle thing but May makes you feel easily relaxed due to her excellent knowledge and kind nature. Highly recommended by me 😊

As a 50+ guy I had ongoing issues with my back that I could never fully resolve, my last resort was acupuncture - but it should have been my first! May was fantastic and addressed the source of my issue instead of just patching over things. My improvement was immense. Now i have regular MOTs from May to try and maintain my well-being, plus have her help with any aches & issues us older guys get! I would recommend May to anybody, she is smart, caring and gets the job done!

Using her sound judgement and extensive knowledge, Mei was able to identify my problem. Focusing on the problem areas, she was able to improve my condition using acupuncture and therapeutic massage. She also gave advice on exercise to undertake at home.

May is fantastic- so friendly and kind, there is something about her that puts you at ease instantly. I cant understand any negative reviews ,if you want a swanky/ health club environment you will certainly pay treble the price! All i know is i always feel better for seeing her, its the treatment that is most important for me and why i will keep on going in the future.

May is incredible. She has such strong wisdom and intuition, and offers a very holistic approach which I have found to be very effective. I went to her clinic with what I thought was an issue with reflux, however May listened and read between the lines and understood that it was a different issue all together and was more related to stress. I have found her acupuncture treatment for this as well as May's understanding has been very transformative for me. You will walk away from May's treatment not just with the acupuncture benefits, but also with a better understanding of yourself. I cant recommend May enough.

After 6months of agony and countless tablets from doctors.for a trapped nerve i tried acupuncture,brilliant results 7sessions and feel great.may is friendly and must say brilliant at what she does,relaxing atmosphere puts you at ease.highly recommended.if I could put more stars I would.

I had been suffering with tendinitis in my achilles and anti inflamitory pills were not working. A handful of accupuncture & massage sessions with May and it's cleared. She is incredible and I will be going back for maintenance sessions.

Very disappointed by my visit to Chesterfield Chinese-Acupuncture Clinic and was left both physically and financially damaged by the experience. The treatment rooms are effectively stock rooms behind the shop - very small with only a series of broken light fittings and old storage containers to look at during the treatment session. Tinny music was played on a phone during the session but was constantly interrupted by phone notification alerts as well as customers in the shop itself. I could also hear word for word the private consultation with another customer in the next room which was inappropriate. I was left feeling very distressed and with a large bruise on my forehead where one needle was inserted and drew blood from a vein. I was charged £24 in addition to the quoted rate for the acupuncture session for two weeks supply of some herbal pills. This has put me off acupuncture and I am surprised other positive reviews on the establishment don't reflect the experience I had.

Recently had acupuncure treatment with May, I found her approachable very knowledgable and her treatment really impactful and resolved neck and shoulder pain (on set frozen shoulder) 6 treatment on i am pain free and able to move my arm as normal. Thank You May.

I'd been having trouble with my shoulder for a long time, my doctor was disinterested so I followed my wife's 'advice' and gave May a chance. Must admit I was a bit sceptical before I started but saw improvements right from the very first treatment - would thoroughly recommend May - she really knows her stuff.

I’ve been going to see May for Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. I’m really happy with the results and would highly recommend her. My skin looks totally clear now which has made me much more confident about not wearing so much make up. It also made me feel so calm and relaxed.

May is truly a-May-zing! She really knows her stuff and gets on with it. Having treatment for both neck and lower back on-going problems. Both have improved. May was recommended to me by a colleague and I have had 2 sessions so far. My back and shoulder were in absolute bits when I first went. However she has been able to loosen me up with her acupuncture and advice for light exercise. I am not fully there yet but I can already feel a dramatic improvement and can see the benefits to the acupuncture. She is so calm and knowledgeable which also makes me feel like I’m in good hands. Even my golfing hubby is wanting to get himself booked in once golf season is back on. 10/10 May!

I have been seeing May for several years now to help me with my chronic illness. Nothing has helped me as much as my acupuncture sessions, I always walk out feeling much better then when I walked in. May was wonderful when I broke my ankle. She was really knowledgeable and provided a wonderful service in coming to my home for the acupuncture treatment which was really helpful around childcare/ my lack of transport. I really appreciated May's honestly in saying when I'd had enough sessions.

Amongst other things May has helped me with knee and back problems. After suffering for years my knee pain was effectively cured two years ago thanks to her treatment. As I sit at a desk for long periods of time I started to suffer from back pain. I have acupuncture twice a month which keep this at bay even though I often forget to do the exercises she recommended. As well as being very experienced and professional in her work May is a smart and interesting person and I always enjoy chatting when I visit.

Managed to get a next day appointment, very accommodating for my first appointment after a recommendation. I could barely walk straight after a back injury left my lower back and spine so tight. Even after just the first session I noticed a difference. The deep massage is amazing and really works to restore spine flexibility and I would recommend this for any back pain.

I have arthritis in my neck & I find acupuncture / heat lamp & a deep massage really helps, feel really good after a session with Mei. Give it a try !

After suffering with a knee injury & lower leg pain for past couple of years somebody recommended I try Acupuncture. I went to see May & told her I was in so much pain she made me an appointment within a few days & treatment started weekly, after the first appointment I noticed a difference & 7 weeks later I’m nearly pain free. You can tell when someone knows what they are doing and this young lady definitely knows what she is doing! Obviously had a lot of training and it is well worth the money, 9f you have any aches or pains get yourself booked in.
