I swap my car every year. This last two I’ve used Arnold clark. I use the same dealer, Charlotte Grey and both times I have she’s given me confidence and found exactly what I’m looking for. Yesterday night I text her to say I wanted a car, this morning she found an amazing car and by mid afternoon it was mine. Charlotte goes above and beyond with her service and follows up and checks in regularly to see how her clients get on. She isn’t your everyday “car sales person” she really does care. She doesn’t treat you as a client but a friend. I’ll be back again and again, and it’ll always be to her and AC because of her.

Just had to say what a nice experience it was to come here when looking for my new car. Sam couldn't have been more helpful or kind when showing us the car we were test driving. He was very knowledgeable and spoke well so we could understand all the technical jargon too. Normally I dread car shopping as it's usually confusing and intimidating, but my visit here yesterday was a great day! Even had nice coffee too. Would definitely recommend making an appointment with him. He did everything he could do get us a wonderful deal and part ex price on my old car. He even rang us a little later in the day since we hadn't' quite decided yet, to check in with us and see if there was anything he could do. We're not sure about the colour, but he's looking for another one for us! Wonderful chap, great experience. Gold star. 10/10 would go again just for fun. Hopefully we'll be back there soon if he finds a nicer colour for us :)

Phoned dealership and went up and viewed car , did the part ex valuation on trust as I wasn't in my car and picked new car up 4 days later with no back tracking on price. Friendly staff , we dealt with Charlotte who was very pleasant and not pushy at all. Hassle free purchase and love the car

Had our last 3 vehicles from Arnold Clark Chesterfield. The service has been fantastic each time. We were looked after by Dan on the second occasion, and were really impressed with the service that we got back in touch with him to help with our search for a new car. Dan has been amazing with his help and making sure things run smoothly. Had regular calls on the status and kept in touch all the way. Great showroom, nice atmosphere and lots of friendly staff. Our collections have gone really well, cars in great condition, and always spotlessly clean inside and out. would recommend to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle, We will definitely be back when we need to change our car in the future.

Found a car on the Monday night; reserved it, and picked it up the next day! Kyle and Aron were very friendly, professional, and ensured the whole process was completed for me in a timely manner so I could get back on the road immediately. I was very nervous since it was my first time obtaining a vehicle through finance - but all concerns and queries were answered. Will be using their services in the future. Great service. Love new car and really helpful team. Gave me a good price for my trade-in and bent over backward to help. It needed the front grill replacing and also had a fault with the battery, both of which they fitted new, free of charge which would probably have set me back around £500, so really appreciate them picking up the tab on this.

Just wanted to say thank you to the service guys and the lady receptionist who changed the bulbs on my wife's Honda civic tourer whilst she was heavily pregnant. It was having its service and they did it free of charge when she brought the bulbs in. I have bought several cars from here and always gone through Kyle who sorted me out over email which I prefer. Not sure if I will return now kyle has left for my next car as I don't want the hassle of being upsold etc. We shall see.

I sold an old car to them. They offered the best price and kept to it after reviewing the car. The only problem, and this was specific to my circumstances, was that I had to go there twice because they didn't make me aware that there are restrictions if you have had the car for less than 6 months. Otherwise it was a great service.

Typical large second hand car dealer, expensive prices mind and forget any negotiation. Salesman pleasant but on first meeting called me 'bud' and ' mate' which is very off putting and unprofessional....and I did tell him this! After that he was very good in trying his best for us but unfortunately had a miserable manager ( who couldn't smile if he tried ) who was as useful as a chocolate fireguard! Did put deposit down on a car subject to test driving ( didn't like) and took 3 phone calls to get money back ( took over 2 weeks) . Considering well known dealer they aren't very confident of their cars as they only offer a pathetic 2 month warranty....even on late 2017-2019 reg cars! Overall bad experience ( except for salesman who was ok)

I can't fault the service this weekend. Firstly from Benson, who helped my daughter in law through the process of buying her dream car. He was professional and explained everything well and his friendly and bubbly personality really made the experience so pleasant. Long story short. Previous car was written off thanks to a 40 tonne lorry reversing over it. Anyway, went to Arnold Clark first early one Saturday, having a look at the stock and a sales rep came out called Kyle and he was a breath of fresh air. Polite, and funny and not pushy at all. He left us to keep looking until we saw a Kuga we wanted. Unfortunately that one was reserved but not to worry, Kyle found us another one in Bolton. Three days later it was in Chesterfield. There was a weeks delay in the insurance payout but Kyle reassured us it wasn't a problem and when we was ready to give him a couple hours notice to get the car cleaned etc before pick up. I have to say and the wife will agree, Kyle was excellent throughout. The whole experience was effortless and the car we purchased. ... We love it. Thanks again Kyle, you are a legend

This is the third car we have bought from Arnold Clarke and I find the customer service from everyone involved is extremely professional and there is no pressure whatsoever which is such a refreshing change in car sales.... Byron helped up to pick the right car based on the criteria I gave him and the process was easy and pain free from start to finish and we drove our car away less than 24 hours after test driving it. Having bought quite a few cars over the years as a petrol head and working in the trade my car buying experience was a breathe if fresh air. So many car sales companies get the balance wrong of being no pressure and professional. I was greeted at the door and shown to kyle weir who had been my handover sales executive and personally guided me thru the arnold clark experience. With a polite and friendly approach getting all my pre credit information sorted and setting up my dashboard on their easy to follow website. I’m not going to lie when you have negative equity and your trading your car in it can be a little uncomfortable but they were great. I had a road test with one of the prep technicians and got to talk about the car and explain anything i wasn’t sure about. It was a decent road test to. Then back to the site finished of the last few parts of the finance paperwork and then the manager came over and said hello and offered any help if i needed it but I was more than happy. Fantastic service from Nathan, I originally booked in over a week ago but realised my V5 was in my old address as I’d recently moved, he kept in touch to try and book me back in and responded promptly to every email. Sold my car at Arnold Clark Chesterfield this morning. As soon an I Walked in and was greeted by an employee and guided to the waiting area sofas and offered a drink and some biscuits whilst I waited. After a short wait I was introduced to Nathan Boulton who valued my car and offered me more than was expected. He took me to the desk and we sorted all the paperwork out and he made sure no details were missed and all my questions were answered so there were not setbacks in the sale. Nathan was polite, down to earth, and overall exceeded my expectations on Arnold Clark customer service and this created an amazing first time experience at Arnold Clark. Nathan was absolutely brilliant when I sold my car to Arnold Clark Chesterfield. Nothing was a problem, he was kind and extremely helpful and I was given a price I was happy with - no trying to mark my car down on inspection. I wish I could give him 6 stars! Having originally bought the car from another large Chesterfield dealership, this experience was top notch in comparison. I wouldn't hesitate to use Arnold Clark for my future motoring needs. Managers aware of a wet belt issue with Peugeot 1.2 puretech 3008s but their staff won’t pass that information on unless it’s in their interests for you to buy an alternative. Staff made out they ‘don’t buy those cars in anymore due to issues’…as the car I was looking at wasn’t in their store. Quick online search showed they actually had them in stock, with one bought in so recently it doesn’t even have images yet. Based on managers comments on wet belt avoid purchasing 3008s from 2018-2020 full stop. Have always used Arnold Clark previously, will likely avoid in future after misleading information all round.
