Friendly, helpful and very reasonably priced for raw food.

Really friendly owner, happy to help with our situation. Unfortunately although our dog responded well to the change of diet, his general picky-ness with food made it too awkward to continue with raw as he often leaves the bowl and goes back later. The owner gave us great advise and was very passionate, whilst being super helpful. He advised us to be conservative with what we bought, in the case of our dog not showing interest, which was greatly appreciated.

Great little pet supplies business. The staff and owners are friendly and approachable and were fantastic at sourcing an item they didn't stock when I enquired. Pricing is very reasonable and they do some beautiful seasonal flowers and plants.

First class service from placing the order to delivery,, I would recommend this company to anyone, we have been using DRL for approx four months now, we initially started to use this company as we have a very fussy German Shepherd who was a nightmare with food, we’ve spent hours upon hours trying to coax him to eat his food. Paul spent time with us to get to know the dog and made several suggestions and the result is we now have a very healthy content dog who clears the bowl every meal, Paul’s knowledge was second to none, can’t thank him enough, we now have all four of our dogs with their food. Friendly service and prompt deliveries, can’t ask for anything more, keep up the good service guys 👍

The only reason this is 2 stars is because the staff are lovely. I wouldn’t recommend their own brand of RAW food! It’s a hot bacteria mess! The bags split while defrosting and before you know it there contaminated. How this packaging has passed standards is beyond me. My dogs stools have been sloppy and they’ve genuinely not been well since having it. I made the decision this morning when their breakfast was ruined. I went to bowl it up and the packaging was split in half (again) and it had been on the side over 3 hours the other ones we put down to mistake and thrown them away but out of all the food we had we thrown away 16 in the space of a week and half. Half the product didn’t have labelling and one of my dogs can’t have chicken so that’s no good so we didn’t dare risk it. The labelling it’s self is all over and the content is not correct at all! It’s a jump on the band wagon with no idea what we’re doing and that initially is making dogs poorly. I think If they re thought about their packaging instead of going down the cheap and nasty option it would be a cracking product but for the simple fact it’s made my dogs poorly I thought I should warn others. Lovely staff very helpful just their own brand of raw is off. Stick to known brands from this store.

We adopted a British bulldog last year from a rescue centre and she was on a raw diet. Since then she became unwell (Not due to the raw meat) and had to be put in a specific food for a few months. I’m happy to say that she is on the mend and we will be returning to continue her on a raw meat diet as instructed by our vets. Staff were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable.
