Great location, very clean and well maintained, second visit here, first was on a cycling trip second running. Kitchen is well stocked with the essentials and the staff are brilliant and very helpful would highly recommend will be staying here again for sure.

We have just stayed at wayfarers hostel and the whole experience and stay was superb. The owners couldn’t do enough and they helped us with inquiries of places to go recommendations for eating,sightseeing. The facilities where excellent and if needing anything the owners where so easy to contact and made you feel very welcome. The room was spotless and everything we required was there. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anybody.

Stopped off here during the C2C cycle, was a great clean hostel with brilliant well equipped basement space to store/ fix up your bike if needed. I made a mistake with my booking and staff were very helpful and accommodating.

We had the apartment which was self contained and had everything we needed. Easy walk into Penrith and on the edge of the lakes for access to the hills and lakes.

Nice, clean and quiet place for a stopover. Comfy beds, own bathroom and large, clean kitchen. Good lounge area also. Family of four staying in a room with four beds (two bunks). Had to book here last minute after our air BnB cancelled, but should’ve chosen it in the first place. Will do next time we are passing through again.

Probably one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in a long time. Really clean, loads of information on the local area, great communal space. Excellent communication prior to arrival. Couldn't fault it. Would recommend to others and would stay again 👍

Nice, clean hostel in great location. Ideal for cyclists with opportunity for servicing cycles. Cannot fault. Stayed 3 times so far. Very good size dorm rooms.

Absolutely amazing experience. Lovely place, good location, stunning self contained kitchen. Mixed dormitory beds are comfy. And most important a lot of support from owners. Very much recommend the place 🙌 😊

Very nice hostel with excellent services for cycling, making it perfect for the c2c trip. It had a dry room for any wet clothes and plenty of tools to help repair any bikes. The kitchen was well fitted and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Stopped here while doing Coast 2 Coast in a big group this weekend; this place must be your first option if you're cycling. There is "bike-friendly", and then there is bike-friendly. This place is the latter.

Second stay at Wayfarers hostel. Staff were extremely helpful, rooms and facilities very clean and nice and excellent value for money. Great location for access to Northern lakes, Keswick and north Pennines. Will stay here again

Best hostel I've visited. Modern, great bike storage, well equipped modern kitchen and close to Penrith centre (5 min walk). All hostels should be like this. Excellent.

Very impressed with this hostel. Was very clean and tidy, having a real cosy, homely, feel about it with the communal kitchen area and lounge. Definatley will consider staying again when next up visiting the lakes. Great value for money, and great facilities.

Friendly staff and great clean rooms. All looks very new and the ensuite bathroom and lockers in the dorm were a great surprise. Kichen with extra outdoor sitting and free coffee and tea. I loved staying there and recommend it warmly.w Maybe some extra blinds for the summer months would

If you're doing the C2C and need digs in Penrith, stop your search now. This place is perfect. We stayed in the self contained apartment (room 5) which was comfortable, well equipped and well priced. Bike storage was perfect (sink, tools and pump provided) and the drying room was hotter than the sun which is just what was needed having rinsed our sweaty cycling kit. It was a short walk to the restaurant we'd booked and just around the corner from Booths for a tasty breakfast. Ben was great on arrival. I can't recommend this place enough for the C2C.

First night stop on coast to coast cycle. Lovely clean rooms and kitchen facilities. Free tea and coffee. Amazing power showers. Secure storage for bikes with free to use tools and pump. Only slide down side was drying room didn't really dry clothes too well, could do with more ventilation or a better dehumidifier, but there was a lot of wet clothes in that day. Very handy for centre of town for pubs and places to eat and supermarkets. Owners very friendly and helpful.
