Avoid this place at all costs! I paid £170 to get my phone repaired and they did not thoroughly test the phone and then refused to repair the phone. It's a long story and I'm still mad about it. If they respond to my review with corporate damage control I will explain the full details. It gets worse. One of the worst businesses I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I would reccomend this place to lawyers specialising in consumer law or anyone who likes sending legal letters after being unfairly treated.

I've used aGeek for many years now and the fact I continue to do so is testament to the quality of the service they provide. My latest venture saw me purchase a reconditioned computer just before Christmas 2021. There was no hard sell just an offer to contact them if I needed any help or advice, something I have taken them up on and, as ever, they have been extremely helpful (and patient!!). I took my old gaming computer to aGeek to get it cleaned, and would without a doubt recommend their service. I paid for the slightly more expensive option, but it was well worth the quality of the work done. They reseated a hard drive for me and cleaned up the messy wiring and cleaned the entire machine from top to bottom and even applied new thermal paste! Please do not hesitate to use this company for any technical needs, as they are thoroughly fantastic and so welcoming.

I was looking at buying a new Desktop System as my current one is getting a bit aged now. Looking online for something that I was thinking of getting was not easy as they didn't really have the specs I was looking for. I went into town and remembered there was a shop, aGeek, that dealt in all things tech related. In the shop we discussed which type of a built custom system would match what I was looking for and after a short while I decided what I wanted. The turnaround was quite quick and as of today the system is up and running and performing just as it should.

When a ‘CPU Overheating’ error message immediately shut down a 10 month old computer, I booked it in for a clean and new thermal paste application with aGeek, at a very reasonable price. As access to this computer was vital, the staff at aGeek managed to do it that day. Bryn did a meticulous job and discovered that the original computer construction engineer had left the protection sticker on the CPU in error, and the thermal paste had been added to the top of sticker! The removal of the sticker has saved the CPU, and the immaculate computer was up and running a couple of hours after dropping it off, now performing as it should have done when new! I was exceptionally pleased with the customer service demonstrated by the three staff members I had dealings with - from my initial telephone enquiry, booking the computer in in-store and with Bryn, on collecting the computer. I was kept informed of their findings by phone and was given a time to collect it. Bryn also offered to carry it to my car, which I very much appreciated. aGeek managed to reverse a stressful situation by offering a prompt, efficient, customer-focused service. I will certainly use aGeek again for technological purchases and repairs and would highly recommend this business.

Took in my external hard drive after it stopped working. Turned out to be a faulty caddy so replaced it while I waited and all the data was saved. Such a relief! Years of work on there. Staff were polite and friendly and all this at a great price. Only charged me for the new caddy with no charge so checking and swapping the caddy. Highly recommended.

I am very impressed with the customer service & I love the fact that you upgrade my old PC rig that was turning into grandad mode in crashing insane amount of times! I cannot honestly recommend these enough! All the staff are brilliant, i came in stressed because I had broke my laptop and damaged the hard drive. Nathan there helped me get an appointment to fix the MacBook, he did this very quickly and kindly for me. They fixed my laptop in a week, i am ever so grateful!! I came in today to pick it up and Katie and mark helped me with everything; logging in, downloading essential apps, they made sure I was ready to use it basically. I recommend them 1000%, I am very happy with what they have done. If I ever have any problems they made sure I know what to do and that is to just come straight back! Went to ageek this morning as smashed my iPhone 12 screen. Nothing was too much trouble!! One of the staff travelled to Sheffield to pick a screen up as they didn’t have one in stock. Picked my phone back up at 3:30 today! Excellent service!! Would definitely recommend!!

aGeek - the definition of the word 'geek' is a nerd or drip - well they are neither. They are true professionals doing a damn fine job of excellence in customer service. They sorted my battery problem out promptly and got me fixed up with the exact correct charger, not like the one that I was sold for profit and not service. aGeek were recommended to me and what a fantastic recommendation. Taken a couple of consoles here for major repair jobs. Guys are profession, to the point and don't waste time. Both jobs were done quick and top quality. Very polite and understanding, overall great customer service. However, they had my item for nearly 2 months before it was fixed and given back to me. It was 6 weeks before I was even notified that they had started work on my item. I understand that this is dependent on the board engineers availability but ultimately this isn’t my problem and doesn’t justify a two month wait, I did actually have to ring and ask what was going on which was when I was told my headphones were nearly finished. The work has been done to a good standard and I am happy but the wait time and communication could have been way better for the money you pay.

Good job replacing hard drive. Good updates re progress. Laptop came back very clean ... had to check it was really mine !! Could have done with a bit more help retaining old folders and files. Otherwise helpful and friendly.

Awesome repair carried out on my iPad 5 Mini which I use for work almost every day. Lucky me dropped a heavy door handle on the screen and smashed it, of course it needed a complete new LCD. I had my iPad back fully working and as new within 48 hours of handing it over, that's a pretty damn good turnaround for a complicated repair and I was pleased to have it back so quickly. This was by far much cheaper than buying a new one too. No hidden costs or extras, I knew what I was paying for and that's what I got. Friendly staff in the shop a I got to see the 'shop puppy', which is a lot bigger now because it's not a puppy any more :D Thanks for taking good care of my repair, I would definitely recommend aGeek and use them again myself if I need to. AMAZING service! It's a rare thing nowadays to get really decent service - someone who obviously really wants to help, and cheerfully does so. The 2 guys I dealt with at ageek were both like that. They rapidly and cheerfully diagnosed my problem, fixed it, explained exactly what they'd done and tidied up my wiring into the bargain, all whilst expertly dealing with multiple other customers as it was a busy lunchtime. For this, they asked £15 (I think!) - I gave them £20, despite not being one to tip, because they deserve to succeed. Whilst waiting, I watched how they dealt with other customers, and they were being really careful to avoid asking for passwords unless they were genuinely needed for the work, and to communicate what they would and just as importantly wouldn't be able to back up before rebuilding a guy's operating system. The list of "rules they live by" beside the cash register were well thought out too. Seriously, as a techie myself (I do programming and computer security work for my job) I rarely have need for services like this, but would recommend them to anyone, and only wish the IT support guys at work (a multinational bank) were half as helpful and personable.

Had to take my android phone in for repair when it suddenly developed a mystery fault. Like most people, most of my life is stored on the phone, appointments, contact numbers etc so being without a fully functioning phone was a major problem for me. The people at ageek tried to fix the phone for me there and then but couldn't. So it went in for repair where unfortunately specific parts had to be ordered. Given all this, and the fact that all this happened over a weekend, I had my phone back a d fully functional in 3 days which was a lot quicker than I had expected. On top of this I was given regular updates via email to tell me at what stage my repair was at, so I wasn't left wondering. The repair wasn't cheap but it was still a lot cheaper and less hassle than getting a new phone. So overall I was very happy with the service I got from ageek, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and they didn't treat me like a moron because of my obvious lack of technical knowledge. I would certainly use them again if the need arose and would recommend their services. They also have a very cute little dog called Lucifer (Lucy for short) who kept me entertained while waiting.

I dropped my iphone 8 off on a Saturday morning to have a new battery fitted. Although the shop was busy the staff were very patient particularly with an older customer and didn't rush anyone, which was nice to see. They completed the work in about an hour and I picked it up later when I'd finished shopping. Everything worked as it should and I even had a follow email about a week later checking if everything was OK. What a great, professional and friendly service. Thanks from Mike
