😠 I ordered a test kit a few months back, but never completed/returned it to them, however, this morning they sent me a text with my results.     I ordered a test kit a few months back, but never completed/returned it to them, however, this morning they sent me a text with my results. Obviously, I was very confused and called them, while the person I spoke to was nice and phone call pleasant. The fact I received results when I never submitted anything to them is extremely questionable, and doesn’t give me much faith with them.

    Extremely slow and inefficient service. Staff are very pleasant and helpful when finally reached but there isn’t a good explanation of the process of being seen and you MUST arrive 30 minutes before the doors open to have any chance of being seen later on in the day. Very long waits. I missed the call where they wanted to discuss my results and I called back 20 different times to receive the same voicemail, so if you miss that call, you’re in a stressed limbo until they finally ring you back.

    I had a great experience here. Rang up (got through after a few tries) and spoke to a receptionist who said a doctor would call me later that day. The doctor called on time and was very kind. She asked me to come in the next day, where I was seen by a consultant who was also very reassuring. I waited a bit but not too long - much quicker than my GP service. Would definitely recommend :)

    Keep in mind that this is a public service that sees A LOT of people. If you arrive one hour before opening, you are likely to be seen the the same day. The staff was extremely kind and professional. The doctor asked for my consent throughout the entire exam, even if they could touch my ear for a temperature reading. I was wary going into the clinic this morning after looking at the reviews but left extremely satisfied with their service.

    Not good. The vending machine in the Watershed didn't work. The one in Stokes Croft was impossible to find. The one in Bradley Stoke coughed up a testing kit where the blood test featured faulty lancets. So no test there. And then you have to wait another 30 days for another test to be issued. That's simply shocking. I mean appalling. I know they probably have a budge of £2.50 to work on but you can't talk to a human being any more to book an appointment. It's bad enough for me but I'm thinking if I was a teenager and terrified and having to face all this bureaucracy and gatekeeping, I'd be lost.

    Don't usually post many reviews and would generally be less likely to given the circumstances but the experience today was so lovely that I felt I had to. Had an appointment, during lockdown and was able to be fitted in the next day. The nurse was clearly experienced, probably felt I was a little nervous but was absolutely brilliant. Was very attentive, informative and me feel very comfortable. Thank you so much.

    THEY CANT TAKE WALK INS. Staff were very sweet and helpful toward me. Difficult to get an appointment as they are extremely busy. You can go online and order free tests if not showing symptoms or call at 8:30 to try get an appointment but they only have a few spaces available per day.

    I got a call back after a few tries of phoning and was seen to within a few days. Happy with the fast response. The clinic were amazing, considerate and there to listen. Thank you :) (You have to phone at 8:30am to get an appointment. If line is busy, phone a bit later)

    The staff are trying their best, and the nurse I saw was really helpful, but it is pretty shocking that I had my consultation in the the CARPARK, where they gave me medication and explained the side effects etc. There was a number on the door I was told to call to get in, but after 15 minutes nobody answered so I just went to the main reception -- this was completely fine so I don't know why I was told to call the number. It basically seems like an entirely necessary service, with great staff but terrible bureaucracy, and real funding issues. Additionally it is really bad that you can't just get tested, you have to have the tests posted to you which can take absolutely ages.

    Really poor service, woeful communication. Doctor didn’t seem to know the processes with confidence, had to keep leaving the room to source information from other colleagues to clarify treatment/tests.

    They operate on a first come first served basis and it creates a very unpleasant experience. If you don't call at 8:30AM exactly, there's no chance of getting an appointment, because you'll be at the back of a long queue... If you call on any day after Tuesday, there will be no appointments available, so you have to wait a week to call again. Additionally tests take up to 3 weeks to provide results (assuming they give you results at all) and most often you will not be seen unless your test has been processed. Besides that the staff have always been nice and accommodating and understanding.

    After my initial appointment I gave them 5 even though I had to wait 45 minutes after my appointment time. This time how ever after the unprofessional attitude of the Irish nurse I had the displeasure of dealing with I have adjusted my review. After waiting 25 minutes to be seen I informed her I only wished to receive the treatment with out a further test due to time constraints. I was informed that it is a NHS service which I guess is code word for sub par and unorganised I was then asked rather aggressivly if I am "refusing" the test as if it was mandatory.

    I just had an appointment to have my coil removed. Due the circumstances it couldn’t be done my GP so they transferred me to the Sexual Health Clinic. I was really nervous and scared of how much it would hurt but the doctor was amazing. I don’t think it even to her 10sec to take it out and except of a super short second of pain it was all done. Thank you so much

    Have been calling non-stop for the past 15' (since their opening time at 8:30). 41 calls and I still haven't gotten through to them. All I get is an automated message: "I'm sorry we are currently experiencing a high volume of calls. Please call back later"😥

    Have tried calling at 8:30 as they have mentioned for the past 5 days and it goes straight to a voicemail saying call back later. I’m literally just trying to get tested and can’t see a GP so I guess I’m just gonna continue to suffer. You have one phone line for like 6-7 locations and only take same day appointments via phone booking. This is the worst system and it makes no sense

    I have tried to speak to someone on the phone 3 times over the last few weeks at varying times of day. I waited in a queue of indeterminate length for up to an hour each time. No queue length updates; no one picked up the phone. I just cannot believe that the people responsible for answering the phones are spending such inordinate amounts of time on calls with so many people. It’s quicker getting through to HMRC. Whenever I’ve actually gone in, I don’t recall seeing staff on the reception desk constantly talking on the phone. So I can only presume calls are being ignored. I know that my experience isn’t an isolated incident. This service is not fit for purpose.

    Absolutely terrible. Took me weeks to get an appointment. Didn’t get any reminder messages about my appointment. Tried to contact to find my appt details and no call waiting just hangs up on you

    This review is based on the reception staff and not the nurses, doctors or practitioners as the nurses, doctors and practitioners have always been professional and have a great attitude. The reception staff come across very judgemental and rude, I remember calling one time and the person on the phone and the receptionist was just vile... No people skills what so ever! It's actually funny they are the first point of call and you don't even spend that much time with them and yet they leave a negative impact on the place.

    Don’t answer your phone calls whole morning . Then they telling you they’re full. have no more space for that day How come when they don’t answer people’s calls?!?!

    My girlfriend had a procedure and I cant thank the staff enough - Sam (nurse) and Sally (Dr) were really encouraging and supportive. Even though the procedure was unsucessful, a plan was made and all of the reasoning was explained clearly. Many thanks to them both.

    Went in and got seen and gave me a test straight away. Everyone I spoke to seemed really friendly and helpful. They gave me appointment a appointment for the next day

    Absolutely impossible to get through to them on the phone, it’s unbelievable. They will say you are in a queue without giving you a queue number so you have no idea how close you are to being seen. Not to mention, I wouldn’t even need to be ringing them if I had the confidence in them to trust that my actual appointments are scheduled to go ahead! I had an appointment booked for early Nov, which I received a text confirmation for - only for them to insist that they had no idea what I was talking about. I was able to book another appointment, which I have now received NO text confirmation for. Knowing the inefficiency of this service, that one probably isn’t in their system either, but I can’t even get through to confirm it! Horribly inefficient and unhelpful, don’t have any clue how things got so bad over the past few months. Huge shame!

    Have never been able to get through on the phone after multiple attempts of several hours' duration - it's pretty clear no one is answering the phones. I sent in my postal text kit over a month ago and still haven't received a result. I'm despairing.
