I've been seeing Holly for a couple of months now and I've gone from constant pain and not knowing the cause despite seeing several specialists, to now pain free with a great exercise routine! She's extremely knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. So thankful to have been recommended this practice and meeting holly.

I broke my shoulder in December 2021and on the recommendation of my doctor, to ease the pain, I booked in with Tony Gill for a steroid injection. Tony was very thorough in his assessment and the ultrasound machine ensured that the injection was delivered to just the right spot. Tony is a shoulder expert and was able to recommend home exercises to do to help my recovery. They worked and a year on I now have full movement and strength back in my shoulder. His professional and friendly approach combined with knowledge and experience made my physio appointments an enjoyable experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. I also had a few sport massages with Chloe, again a fantastic experience. Thank you Bristol Physio.

I had a few sessions with Bristol physio. And it was great, I received very clear exercises to follow at home. and good physical therapy whilst there. My condition(tennis elbow) has almost completely gone. And I’ve been able to exercise regularly with increased load.. friendly, and very effective treatment. If needed again I’ll be back for sure.

I saw Holly Savage for some help with my knee and she was brilliant. Super friendly and knowledgable, she helped work through the problem and how I could address it whilst still balancing my training (and life). Would absolutely recommend her (as long as she doesn't get so busy I can't get another appointment)

I travelled from Cornwall to see Tony Gill as I needed an injection into my ankle. Tony is totally amazing as previous reviews also confirm. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable, dedicated to the best possible patient outcome and caring. I have had many ankle injections in Cornwall that have achieved very little. The injection that Tony gave me, careful assessing the best location for the needle, has really treated the right location. The swelling has gone and the pain as well. I am so grateful to him.

I came to see Tony Gill for treatment on my Knee. After over 4 years of pain and discomfort I can not believe the difference, after just a day or so after my Hyaluric injection , I am walking with a stride in my step I haven't done for years it has made me feel so incredibly happy I could have cried. I am overwhelmed with the relief it has given me. Thank you for all the helpful information and professional care. Jeanette James

I found the whole experience with Bristol Physio excellent. Reception were always helpful and pleasant to deal with whether booking appointments by phone or signing in. Tony Gill was excellent identifying my problems , giving me appropriate exercises which I still do, giving me video clips to demonstrate them and always a pleasure to talk to. My Sciatica cleared up rapidly after 9 months of pain before seeing him and he identified the torn cartilage in my knee and again prescribed the right treatment to aid the smoothing of it to speed up recovery. A great team, thanks, I won't hesitate to recommend you to friends and family.

I saw Tony about my shoulder pain and he has been the only professional who could correctly identify the problem and so I could start corrective treatment. He has also previously injected my feet for Morton’s Neuroma problems which has meant many happy years walking since. He has a very professional and friendly manner.

I went to see Louis for back pain after a climbing session triggered something. He listened to my concerns and gave me advice and exercises that helped me recover and allowed me to go on the holiday I thought i would have to cancel. Super friendly too

They are brilliant, especially with people who are recovering from an operation. Siofra has been very good, listened to my needs, actioned the problems and was very easy to deal with. Receptionists are good, you can have a chat while you wait and appointments are easy to book!

I have been to Bristol Physio several times and the therapists have always been hugely knowledgeable and supportive. They have ensured I left with a good understanding of my injury and a thorough rehabilitation plan that I was confident in. I would highly recommend.

I saw Andy Howse for pain in my mid back and a knee injury from a fall whilst playing football. He was very knowledgeable, inspired confidence and genuinely cared about my recovery. Both issues are now sorted and I recently ran 10k without any problems and am able to play football again. As someone who has played sport at a reasonably high level, I appreciated Andy's experience with elite athletes. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Bristol Physio was part of a list I was given of Physios by my insurance company. I chose them as their location was convenient. I am so glad I chose them as the service they provided was excellent. The physiotherapist, Richard Galbraith was excellent and developed and adapted exercises to accelerate my recovery. The receptionists were always very pleasant to deal with and extremely helpful and efficient. Overall a competent and competitive organisation, made better by the staff.

Gemma correctly diagnosed my shoulder injury as a torn rotator cuff. After seeing a consultant I opted for a steroid injection and physiotherapy. Gemma was excellent - very professional and focused - and, as a result, my shoulder is much much better. I would highly recommend her.

Following a double ankle break and torn ligaments, i was treated by Andy for 6-9 months. Can’t speak more highly of his treatment and friendly nature. Explained everything to me so i understood what i was doing and why. Great “bedside manner” and enjoyed going to sessions! I am now back playing football. 5 star service. Definitely recommend!!!

An excellent Physio. A few weeks ago I had an online appointment with Gemma as I had been experiencing knee pains from running. She was very thorough and gave me some exercises to do at home. After about four weeks of doing these exercises there is a noticeable improvement and I have been able to start running again.

I don’t normally write reviews, however on this occasion I have been totally blown away by the help and support I have received from Tony Gill. His professionalism, caring manner combined with his total interest in me and my shoulder issues have been outstanding. I have no hesitation in recommending Tony to anyone that needs physio! Thank you Tony for all your help and support over the last year, most of all thank you for caring and helping me get through the tough times.

I have used Bristol Physio twice now and cannot recommend them highly enough. Making appointments is easy, their assessment was spot on, referring me to a specialist when this was needed. Recovery has been problem free, with sound advice on exercise regime at each stage, coupled with a process of assessment, which has given me the confidence to drive myself to, as near as my age will allow me, a full recovery.

Really great place. Woke unable to move my arm without huge shoulder pain, Charlotte had it moving a bit after the first session and pain free within 2 weeks! I've no hesitation in recommending her (even though it's taken me months to write this review, sorry :) )

Due to the company's popularity, I had a week or two to wait before securing an appointment but it was certainly worth it. Tony's assessment of my shoulder injury was very thorough and went above and beyond what I actually expected, leaving me very happy with the accuracy of his diagnosis. Within a week I am already noticing improvements based upon his recommendations. Excellent service and would certainly use again without hesitation. Thank you!

Really pleasant, friendly place which really helped my back! I went there for three appointments, with a back problem which had been bugging me for quite a long time. Gemma really took the time to talk to me and figure out what might be going wrong; the length of appointment feels like such a luxury compared to the GP... She worked on my back for a while, and gave me exercises to do, and I went back for a couple more similar appointments after that. After a few months, my back is feeling miles better! I no longer feel worried about when it might next collapse in pain, and if it ever does twinge, I feel like I know what to do to manage it. It's now a few weeks after my final appointment, and it's so much better than it was before, I can do things like gardening which have often caused me lots of pain in the past. They also have an app which you can log in and which has videos of all the exercises, really useful for someone like me who has a terrible memory... The cost was also a bit of a relief, I've never gone private for anything before and was expecting it to cost a fortune, but I only had to attend once every few weeks, which spreads the cost out so it's much more manageable. The main bulk of the work is in the exercises which you do at home every day. Not gonna lie, physio is time consuming; you need to put the work in to get the results, but the results are definitely worth it! Overall they made me feel really welcome and listened-to. Thank you!

Sorry it has taken me so long to post this review! Having ruptured my Achilles tendon back in August 2020, I began my out of boot rehab under the care of Andy Howse at Bristol Physio. Despite having to work around the pandemic restrictions, the quality of the treatment I received was superb. Having seen Andy for 4 months and more importantly following his advice and doing the exercises I am now back to running, cycling and life is more or less back to normal. Thanks again Andy, your advice and guidance was much appreciated during what was a difficult time. Highly recommended.

Having been hit by a car I've had 7 surgeries and 2 reconstructed body parts. Finding a good physio is sadly a very hard task. I've been grateful to find Tony at Bristol Physio. He seriously knows his stuff. He is also very clued up on extreme sports and the additional rehab required to push the body more than the average. Thank you Tony. Thanks for keeping my body going!

Tony completed sorted my shoulder issue in a matter of months. Through diagnostically addressing likely shoulder issues, he got to the heart of my issue accurately and efficiently. I worked hard on the exercises I was given too. I am now back to swimming and exercising pain free which I never thought was possible. I can't recommend Tony highly enough. Thank you.

I was thoroughly examined and given some exercises and stretches which helped my knee tremendously after the first day. In a follow up, more exercises and stretches were recommended. I am able to go on multi-day bike trips again and run for miles. Thank you

Tony was excellent and the hydrodilatation injection has solved my frozen shoulder by about 90%. Relieved is an understatement- now pain free and with much greater ROM- I can resume my normal active life. Tony took the time to discuss on the phone ( as I live in Cornwall) fully the treatment and my situation , and was always available to respond to questions I had later. The procedure happened exactly as described, no hiccups- and now I’m a happy old basketball player .Thank you Tony at the Bristol Clinic. Well worth the money

I came to the clinic with serious pain in my lower back, which hadn’t gone despite seeing another physio for months. Within two weeks, Siofra got it feeling the best it had in months. My back has significantly improved since going, and I am able to go about daily life pain-free again. I couldn’t recommend Siofra more!

Tony was extremely helpful in isolating the issue with my shoulder and providing targeted exercises to re build strength. Tony was realistic in timeframe for recovery and set very achievable milestones. Highly recommend

The help I received was precise, and focused exactly where it needed to be to help me the most. Explanations and advice given were practically demonstrated and help was given with the method of exercising most appropriate for my needs. This in turn helped me to help myself which is the best advice anyone can give, and the results have proved very successful in a short space of time. Thank you for your expertise.

My physio is Tony Gill who is nothing short of a miracle worker. I have a chronic hip condition - not only has Tony been the only therapist over 40 years to give me serious pain relief (as well as increasing my mobility) he has helped me to get an operation which will transform my life. Tony is incredible. Dedicated. Knowledgeable and effective. He calls on an endless array of techniques to reduce pain and increase mobility. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is a fantastic therapist and a wonderful human being. He cares deeply about you as a client. Today is six months on from my hip replacement operation. I am pain free. I have increased mobility. I am back playing sport - even jogging and skipping. This is all thanks to Tony Gill. He helped secure my hip operation (which included a rod being inserted to lengthen the leg) -and even advised on the specialist to use (Steve Eastaugh-Waring who is incredible too). The operation and Tony’s post ip treatment has transformed my life. If you are in pain -search this guy out at Bristol Physio. He will make your life better.

We have been using Bristol physio for over a decade and cannot recommend the team highly enough. My 10 year old daughter recently had a nasty elbow injury and so it was a huge relief to find that Bristol Physio now have a highly specialist paediatric physio - Kate. Under her guidance, after a few months of hard work, we are close to regaining a full range of movement in the elbow which is remarkable. Kate has been kind, friendly, flexible, hugely knowledgeable and supportive throughout. She has built a strong relationship with my daughter and kept the sessions varied and interesting. She has made appropriate referrals back to consultants when we got “stuck” and has provided us with invaluable support both in the sessions and via email in the background. I cannot praise her highly enough and feel lucky that we have had access to her to guide us through this tricky period. Also, a huge shout out for Tony and Charlotte who provide an unbelievable level of support to my husband who has long standing back issues. Their knowledge is immense and the support they provided before, during and after his multiple back operations over the past few years has been nothing short of remarkable. I cannot convey how brilliant they are or imagine how we would possibly manage to navigate his medical issues without them. They are so much more than physios and an absolutely key part of managing my husbands pain, keeping him active and away from further surgery.

My daughter has been having regular therapy with Kate for almost 5 months now. Kate has been fantastic with her! Kate has an amazing rapport, is friendly, supportive, knowledgeable and informative and most importantly of all has been able to motivate a pre teen to do physio!! My daughter has cerebral palsy so has had physio throughout her childhood and will continue to do so. Finding a physio we both love will literally change my daughters outcomes for the rest of her life 🥰
