Amazing food, good service. Love that everything is plant based and afternoon tea included as much tea and coffee as you want. I personally would prefer more savoury dishes with the afternoon tea, the prawns were amazing! Great coronation sandwiches. You could easily bring non vegan friends too. Personally I found the coffee beans are quite acidic, maybe personal preference. Took two sandwiches home. We will definitely return 😍

It was a serendipitous discovery. We were looking for a place to bask in the morning sun while enjoying our Sunday morning hot drink and Eden Cafe was there, enticing us with its open air setting. What caught my attention was the Intense Chai Latte (and my husband just had to try the caramel-filled muffin). The verdict? Absolutely delicious muffin and truly intensely-flavoured but really good chai latte. Great service and the staff were friendly, welcoming, with a wonderful sense of humour. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Eden is a lovely all vegan cafe with a beautiful interior and lovely staff. It was super busy when we visited so make sure to book a table if you plan on eating there. I tried their oat chai latte which tasted great, but was a little watery. Their biscoff cake was stale (it was the last slice though), but was very flavourful. I would definitely recommend!

Lovely little café in Clifton that’s completely vegan. It’s so nice in there and perfect for eating in or just grabbing a baked good on the way out. They do a great breakfast and have a lovely choice of coffees etc.

Charming place and staff are lovely. Very friendly and helpful with any queries. We just grabbed a flat white and a tumeric latte to go. Nice setting to sit and have a quiet morning coffee or breakfast. The cakes looked lush and quite a few are homemade.

The restaurant caters to vegans and has some gluten free options. It is in a very charming area of Bristol, close to the downs. You can take a long walk and come have lunch, breakfast, afternoon tea. The elixirs were very good. I had the turmeric and lion’s mane. My husband the cacao, mushroom and cinnamon and my daughter had a chai. Loved the drinks. I didn’t love my food. The Doner had a lot of vegan cheese that took over the taste of the wrap. And the vegan “meat” wasn’t good. My daughter liked her Ruben sandwich. My husband liked his bowl but the wrap needed meet sliced not in a massive heap, as well as more vegetables and not vegan cheese. Wait staff was really helpful.

A lovely spot for brunch offering a wide choice of vegan food. The breakfast burrito was delicious! The atmosphere was very relaxed. Would definitely recommend!

This was one of the main vegan places I wanted to visit while studying in Bristol, and when the time came, it did not disappoint. We had the Eden English Breakfast as well as the soup of the day, which came with one of the most wonderful vegan toasties I've ever had. The Eden English was also delicious and very cosy and the size is ideal for one person to indulge or up to two people because the portion is rather generous. Then for dessert, we had the brownie and the caramel crunch muffin, both of which were tasty; however, the brownie was a little too dense for my preference, while the caramel crunch was more enjoyable of the two.

Such a great venue offering unique dishes and drinks. We stopped by at the weekend and we're so glad our favourites were still available 🙌🏼 Staff are always friendly and welcoming and we've always had great service no matter how busy it can get. Lots of tasty plant-based and vegan things to enjoy 💚 If you're in Clifton you'd be missing out by not passing by!

This is a lovely cafe which is just enough out of the way to benefit from reduced noise and lovely outside seating, but still close enough to Clifton so that you can continue your day with ease. The coffee is good, but only one blend is available. With that said, this stands up for itself on its own, and pairs well with the vegan milk they use. Regarding the food, this is also great. There are many vegan options to choose from, and as a meat eater I can comfortably say that I did not miss the lack of non-vegan options. Overall, the location is lovely, the staff are great, and the food/drink are all made to a great standard. The only thing I would change is the outside seating, which is a bit rickety.

You're a bit spoilt for choice in Bristol, so it is difficult not to compare locations! Eden offers homemade food and the best indie feel, though it is quite expensive for the portion size. Clifton is an expensive area and I sympathise with the owners, but it is worth mentioning as you will find larger portions elsewhere. The food tasted nice though, unsure if I felt it was £11 worth but I felt energised afterwards. My hot chocolate and cake were delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxed. More details on the menu would be great, and a tip jar may be a better option than a service charge option at the start of your order, but overall I'm happy with the experience and would consider returning for a cake/drink treat.

£11 for what was essentially a handful of salad like you would get from a bag at the supermarket, with a spoonful of homous and a couple of potatoes. Pretty disappointing.

We visited here a few weeks back, so the review is a little late. We were rushed and stressed getting to Eden due to transport issues, but once we arrived the staff were great at making us feel relaxed and welcome. We had the afternoon tea, which is something you rarely find plant based. It did not disappoint, it was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The dairy alternatives were really good, the sweet items were not covered in sugar to mask poor food like they can be normally, they were great flavours and really well made. The staff did a fantastic job throughout the experience and we will definitely be coming back next time we are in Bristol.

Pretty average experience and average food. We both ordered the Reuben sandwiches, I had a matcha and my friend had an apple juice. The sandwiches were ok but I’ve definitely eaten better before. We also both got different breads but the staff gave no reasoning for this.

Tables: Incredibly tight fit. Impossible to sit opposite my wife. Most people seemed to be sat at right angles to each other. Tables are also very small. My wife and I had to keep rearranging our drink and our food dependant on what we were consuming at the time. Food: I've been plant based for 38 years and vegetarian for 45. For the money, the food was nothing spectacular. Well presented but small portions. Also a lack of detail to what was included. For example, I'm aware it's all Vegan but no list of ingredients for items such as the Strawberry Milkshake. Service: Shown to a table but weren't told we then had to come back to the counter to order the food. Consequently we were sat there for 10 minutes waiting to be served. I appreciate regulars may know this but not clear enough to those who are visiting for the 1st (and now last) time. Also, payment was expected before we received the food. Ok, not that much of a problem but then asked to pay a service charge. How are we meant to know if we want to pay a tip before we've received the service or the food? Ambience: background music was not intrusive. However, staff chatter was. I couldn't hold a conversation with my wife because the staff were talking constantly. As well as being extremely cramped, the door to the toilet is within easy reach of every table. Quite unpleasant. Overall, on a day when it's not busy and it's just you with no one else then I imagine popping on for a coffee might be ok. But I can not recommend going there on a busy day and trying to eat what is basically a small (and therefore overpriced) meal.

I love the food at Eden but we had such awful customer service today I would never go back. My friend and I had ordered food and were waiting for our friend to arrive. We were sat on a table for four with two small tables pushed together. A waitress came over and told us they were taking a table from us and we’d have to squash around one table. Bearing in mind two of us have babies and I was breastfeeding when she came over it was extremely rude. Also, they didn’t tell us this on arrival and let us sit down and order our food and drinks. What’s more, we didn’t push the tables together, they were already like that so if the table was booked, they should have pointed this out, not tell us as our food was literally arriving!! Logistically, we would not all have fitted comfortably around one table with food. It’s incredibly small in there at the best of times let alone with two babies in tow. Anyone with young kids will know how hard it is to travel lightly! Understandably, we were very annoyed we were being told they needed our table as our food was arriving! When we complained the waitress called over the manager who was extremely condescending and made us feel very unwelcome. She said there had been a mix up with the booking system but in reality she just wanted to give her mates a table (as we saw her hug the ‘customers’ who she’d given our table to). It’s a shame as we love the food in Eden and have met the owners before who are absolutely lovely. But this manager was really awful and has really put me off the place. As a former waitress, you just don’t behave like that. It felt massively sexist too (as a table of four men swanned in after us (a walk-in, not a booking) and they didn’t take the table from them!). It felt like, ‘let’s pick on the table of women who are breastfeeding, they’ll roll over and give up their table!’ Er no we won’t, so we got a refund and left.

Excellent Vegan and veggie food. Reasonably priced considering that it's a small business trying to survive in Covid times. I had smoked beans on sourdough toast (pictured) with an oat milk latte.

Might be the best vegan brunch I ever eaten! So much ce flavors, the scrambled tofu is out of this world and the Smokey beans left us speechless. truly amazing! Would 100% go back and recommend to all my friends visiting Bristol. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Amazing cafe ! Well done Eden 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Great vegan cafe, loved the matcha and coconut latte, and my mum also loved the tumeric latte, also the scrambled eggs were amazing.

Interior is modern and clean/ minimalist. It’s a vegetarian cafe- decided to try as a non vegetarian. The flat white was ok- on the milky side, just lacked the usual flat white coffee kick and the mild with a vanilla tasting oat milk. The shakshuka with the added soy bacon was more baked bean with ratatouille rather than the true with piece of red strands on the top which did not taste of bacon and was rubbery. The egg substitute looked psychedelic yellow which was a bit off putting. Down fall offering meat substitutes which does not taste great for meat eaters- would suggest sticking to vegan based dishes without the meat substitutes. Found the prices a rather step.

We sat outside. The tables weren't levelled so the glasses almost started to slide off. On the positive side, the meals were delicious but not big enough. Tap water is extremely hot (felt like 75-80°C) in the restroom, you should limit the temp on the boiler or get a tap with built in thermostat. Paint is chipping off

Very lovely cafe. Highly recommend for anyone plans to visit Bristol. I had a Biscoff Cheesecake and a Cappuccino. They went so well together that I heard Gordon Ramsey says "f**king delicious." The front of the cafe is a bar, where I sat. Inside are tables. I felt that the bar zone is wider and brighter, while the table zone is a bit more like restaurants.

Delicious Matcha latte and food from Eden. A lovely place to relax on the outside chairs in the heart of Clifton. I'll definitely be returning soon!

Lovely selection of 100% vegan food. Went as a mixed dietary group and all enjoyed everything we had, Rueben Sandwiches and a vegan Prawn Cocktail (mocktail?) Pitta. Smoothies were big, full of flavour and wonderfully thick, the kind that makes you wonder if you'll strain a neck muscle sucking through the straw.

The Eden Cafe, tucked away in Waterloo Street, Clifton. Family run business that offers a superb plant based menu and their own cheeky gin liqueurs. The food will not disappoint - big salad nourish bowls, 'pastrami' Reuben sandwiches and - oh my- the most fabulous Marie Rose prawn dish I've ever tasted. Cakes and coffee are also on offer. This place is a gem.

I’m not a vegan but I LOVED the food here. We went as a family today and we all found something we loved and would want to eat again. The place is clean, the owners are so friendly and the food is homemade and fresh. So good that we took extras to go as I needed to taste those cupcakes again. Loved it - we’ll be coming back regularly!

Our first visit today was a really pleasurable experience. The food was super tasty and well presented and the atmosphere was vibrant and relaxing. So if your looking for somewhere with great vegan food and an ethical environmental ethos, you won’t be disappointed! A must visit if you’re in Bristol, we will definitely be going back! :)🌱💚
