If you like reptiles you NEED to go to this shop.The people in there Michelle and Paul are the kindest people they will help with any of your needs or concerns.This is my favourite shop I have ever been to.They are so welcoming in there it feels like a second home when I go.I have bought 3 reeves turtles from here and soon will be getting 2 panther chameleons.This shop is clean and tidy they look after the animals so well!

I personally can HIGHLY recommend this shop. I’ve now purchased 4 turtles from them this year and both Michelle and Paul are so helpful and friendly and are a pleasure to deal with. All of my turtles are healthy and are doing great. Definitely the best place to buy reptiles and aquatics!

Awesome place. The owners are great. Very knowledgeable and great with kids that are full of questions:). We are forever going in buying live food and bits and bobs and they’re always friendly and helpful. Got fish from them as well as both Pac-Man frogs and bull frogs. Healthy, well looked after animals and reasonable prices.

Wow! What a place. Worth the drive over from Crawley. We purchased a bearded dragon from Paul & Michelle after our first visit to this store (after multiple visits elsewhere) because you could tell the advice they were giving us was based on the pure care and compassion they have for reptiles and animals in general. The advice they gave was fantastic and they really gave their time to us and answered all our questions without making us feel silly. The prices are very reasonable, especially as Paul and Michelle have said we have beardie care for life and we can always bring him in and pop down for any advice we may need. Go & support a local shop that offers genuine care for their animals and isn't just trying to make a quick buck! Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thank you again for your amazing service. I can't recommend The Reptile Barn enough! We went this morning to purchase a fish tank and some fish with our two young children. Not having fish before we didn't really know what we needed but were super impressed with Paul and Michelle ( the owners ) at how knowledgeable & most importantly how helpful they were, especially in terms of discussing and showing us what we exactly needed . I will highly recommend this pet shop. The staff is very humble, helpful and informative. I got 2 pink belly side neck turtles ( 3 months old) he helped me with all the setups, foods, decorations and pretty much everything. Can’t ask for more. Thank you again.

Hello, What can I say. I pop into your shop today with my family and both of you guys blew us all away. You were both friendly and welcoming and help us with information on how to set up a chameleon and care for it. You even allowed my whole family to hold one and the corn snake. What can I say other than if I could have given more than 5* I would. Michelle and Paul are the nicest people you could meet. Their knowledge is fantastic about fish and reptiles. The shop is so clean you can really tell their love for fish and reptiles and what they do. They sell reptiles, turtles too. The aquatic room is tropical and cold water, soon to be Marine fish too. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, their prices are great, always well stocked on products. They are genuine honest people, no wonder the shop is always busy when we go there on our weekly Saturday trip to get supplies. They are always fully stocked on bugs that are fresh all sizes, I also buy my bloodworm from here for my fish. What can I say but thank you so much Paul and Michelle and I’ll see you soon.

Awesome store and super friendly staff! We popped in during our stay here in the UK just to check it out as I love to see the reptiles we can't get at home. Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere, clean enclosures and healthy animals. Great range of products. We actually purchased an incubator to take back to NZ with us and they were super helpful when we were working out how to get it home. Love the fact they check enclosures or setups before selling an animal - genuinely have the animals best interest at heart. I had heard they had a great reputation so had high expectations and they certainly lived up to them! Highly recommend!

Very friendly, very helpful I am very happy with my purchase. I have purchased I bearded dragon 🐉 The man And lady Helpful, set up the tank. I am very happy got everything I need in one place. I definitely recommend going down and Checking it out for yourselves I was not disappointed Better than pets at home. A range of colours.

Been using this shop for over a year now Absolutely love everything about this shop friendly,knowledgeable and a real personal touch whether you be buying 1 box of bugs or a complete set up these are the guys to go and see they will give you all the help and advice you need.all there animals are amazingly looked after and kept in immaculate set ups always clean and more than enough space not tiny little vivs like some places .the history of the animals is known same as the behaviours everything right down to eating and drinking habits they know and tell you .after a heartbreaking experience of my chameleon passing I popped in for some advice and the guys were great,I ended up leaving with another chameleon after holding one in the shop as I was upset.i honestly cannot recommend enough and I would drive half way across the country if need be and would not purchase anything from any other store. The list is endless of why this is the place to go to for anything to do with reptile or fish care if I could give more than 5 stars I would as they deserve it xx

Their shop is incredible, so clean, all the reptiles look so happy in their amazing set ups! I would never go anywhere else! Anything I need help with they are right there to always help me :)

The only shop I would ever go to for all my reptile needs. So friendly and helpful. All the animals are so well looked after. They know everything and I can’t recommend enough.

I love this little shop, if you haven't been in yet you really should, even if you are new to reptiles they will help get you started. The owners really know their stuff, they are so helpful and friendly (there is no such thing as a stupid question) and I have never felt rushed, every visit is a pleasure. All stock, may it be animal or equipment, is great quality and good prices and live foods are actually "live" which anyone in this hobby knows is a rare thing! This has very quickly become my favourite place.

I came to your shop 8th April to buy my baby tortoise and I knew when I planned on buying him that he was going to cost at least £800 I’d already planned to spend that much. One thing I love about your shop was how welcoming and helpful you was. I walked in was instantly greeted and said to you “I want to buy a baby hermann tortoise but I don’t know what I need etc” and you straight away told me a price with everything included, you told me how to care for him, what to feed him, what temps to have his enclosure at, how to set up his enclosure you helped me take everything to my car, answered any questions, when I got home to set up I had complications, I rang you guys up helped me straight away. You was really patient in explaining everything after I said I don’t understand, you wrote everything down for me, you told me about the tortoise how I can hold him, how to wash him etc. I literally couldn’t have asked for better advice. And it didn’t even cost me £800 it only cost me £650 which was even better! And with that price I got the best stuff out there for my little guy. I can not express how helpful and amazing your shop is. It’s not just about the animals it’s the customer service and the way you’ll always make sure to support the customers in what they need, you don’t make people feel dumb about questions either. So many places make you feel stupid for not knowing too much about the pets they own but you don’t you listen and answer questions with the best advice. I can't thank Paul and Michelle enough for all their help. I popped into the Reptile Barn just to have a look around with the kids and less than a month later I have 2 Royal Pythons and 2 amazing vivariums which Paul set up for me. They spent a lot of time educating me and allowed the children and I to handle so many different snakes which gave me a chance to pick the perfect pet. First class service. The shop has has every reptile I can think of along with everything you'd need to care for them. I highly recommend The Reptile Barn

I cannot recommend this place enough! Michelle and Paul are amazing! So knowledgeable and fantastic with our kids! They make us feel so welcome every time we step into the shop. We have brought a tortoise, an axolotl and a bearded dragon from them and would never go anywhere else to buy a reptile! They really care about the animals they have and sell and it really shows. I took my mother in law in the shop with me the other day and she also said to me about how she loved it and how fantastic it was! Go and see for yourself. You definitely won't regret it!

This place is absolutely amazing, when I went in I wasn’t very keen on reptiles because I never had an opportunity to hold them or learn about them. I now have a wide variety and love every single one of them. Michelle and Paul are very helpful and friendly always there to give advice day and night. Definitely go above and beyond. If you have never visited this shop you need to get down there guarantee it won’t be your last visit. 😍

Brand new custom built Marine system, lots of Marine fish, they have a new frozen food area coming, but already have frozen available and fresh foods. Lovelt and clean great prices, beautiful place. Lovely healthy reptiles, great selection of tropical fish. All rounder 5* plus.

The best reptile pet shop, I honestly couldn't recommend more highly.. fabulous range of animals at fair prices, all so well cared for and healthy, amazing variety of stock, everything you could need or want and Paul are Michelle are just awesome, they really know their stuff! We are so happy to continue all our future purchases here and have a good natter at the same time! If I could give more stars then I seriously would!

I think my husband would move in if he could. Since they've moved to the new location they have regular stock in for feed, and lots of interesting creatures. But most importantly, the owners are really knowledgeable and know their stuff - don't go to the big name pet store, shop local and keep this great shop running!! Ben and Laura
