It seems to be a different and popular way to cross the Hogsmill Rover, but the water was flowing just over the top of the stones making it a bit more dangerous and the paths surrounding it were muddy, but some brave people and dogs still attempted and made it across.

Great spot for a splash paddle in the heat and. atch a few tiny fish with the kids.

Five stone stepping stones that work a treat at getting you and yours across the Hogsmill river. On rare occasions after lots of rainfall they might be a centimetre or two underwater, but I find this just adds to their charm.

Extremely muddy at the moment but love this place & consider myself very lucky to have this on my doorstep. Great for family walks & picnics. I've walked my dogs down there for over 25yrs & met some lovely people over that time. It takes on a different beauty in ever changing seasons.

It was lovely there in the summer, tho I hadn't the courage to tiptoe across them. ! Very beautiful spot. Worth a brief visit on the way back from the winery?

Nice resting spot along the hogsmill, with a green next to it. Good for dog walkers
