Great service, prompt and polite reply to my query and the goods turned up fantastically well wrapped.

Used their web service to make an offer on an item which was accepted thus reserving the item for me and giving me 24 hours to make payment. Made payment and then received a call from the store to say that they have sold the item earlier in the day. When I asked why they sold a reserved item I was told that they ignore reserved items and sell them anyway because people reserve all the time and never pay. Worst of the matter is it can take up to 10 days for the refund to arrive back in my account and I now cant buy elsewhere should I find the same item at the right price. Terrible attitude, pay extra and get proper customer service at shops that care

My sons hdmi port on his Xbox 1 was broken and after taking it to be repaired it turned out to be far to expensive so I suggested going to Cash Converters in Staines which we did and so glad that we had . I only had a certain amount to spend for a new xbox we spoke to a member of staff and he was so kind and helpful, took into consideration that we had a spend limit and my son was able to purchase an xbox 1 the same as his old one cheaper than what a repair shop quoted us for a repair, came with power leads and hdmi lead, my son was so happy and I was also so grateful for the reduction in price 🙏🏼 I wish I got the member of staffs name but thank you so much for your help

Ordered earrings was told they were 1.3ct each and when they arrived a diamond was missing... so I had to pay to send them back with no offer of refund for postage I paid, was quoted 2 weeks for them fo be fixed turned into 3 with no apology! Then when I finally get them back I found out they were 0.4ct each!!!! That is literally less than 1/3 of what they sold them on !!!!!! I then had to pay AGAIN to send them back as there was no chance I was accepting them and had to demand my refund for postage! The manager was clearly not bothered nor did she seem fazed by this situation its was almost like this was daily for her.... The cheeky cow readvertised them within 48 hours and even had the audacity to advertise them at the same price, she managed this but couldnt acknowledge me in any way after the experience she put me through... even a "your refund has been done" email wouldn't have killed let alone an apology ! Avoid all costs I have used cash converters up and down the country this one is dodgy!

Friendly quick service from Zak. No problems with my first visit. I got a quote for a TV and assured this was the price for this model/condition (showed pictures). However took the TV back a couple of days later and a different guy wouldn’t honour the price. He said there was nothing wrong with the TV but TVs weren’t selling at the moment so wouldn’t give me more than £10. (Originally quoted £30). Probably not worth taking anything large in there, was a pain to carry the TV all the way there and back again.

Extremely bad prices for your items, this is not a post regarding a one time sale or a one time buy back. The place is a rip off as have tested this on various occasions. If you have something you have literally bought new for roughly £1000 they will give you £80 them put it up for sale for £800. Tested this again to send someone else there and they said you had to build a relationship with them and sell them more to get better prices. A disgusting place and rip business. Sell privately as they will completely take advantage of you. Pretty much a scam.

Was looking to sell my Series X xbox and after going to CEX down the road first, I am glad I ended up going to Cash Converters instead as CeX don't know what they're doing half the time. The guy who served me was extremely helpful and polite, and went out of his way to help me as best as possible, I beleive his name was Harry and I even got a better deal than CEX offered. So if you get a better deal and fantastic customer, service the why go elsewhere. 10/10 will definitely come back again. Thanks

Kevin is fantastic and great to deal with. Paul the manger also happy to help you if need anything. McCauley very helpful and very knowledgeable about the music item. Would highly rate to come in if in need of an item. Also all items have 12 months warranty.

Just popped into cash converters in Staines to sell a telescope and accessories on behalf of someone the price I was asking was very reasonable they came back to me and said that that item can be purchased on line for a lot cheaper I said to them I think you are looking at the wrong item but they were adamant that they were correct. So beware what you are selling as they do not know what they are pricing up.

Purchased a laptop from these online, when the laptop arrived it wasn't the same specs as listed on the website and it was too late to return the item as it would have been needed the following day. Buyers be careful when purchasing electronics from these as they clearly don't know what they are selling.
