*caution when visiting this store * Something about this garden centre is not right. And possibly a malpractice too. I was sold a plant for £69 of beautiful flowers and root maggot eggs were kept hidden under a lining mat on it. Not only that the pot was also full of root maggots eggs. So they develop in a couple of months and kill the plant. Additionally was sold a flowers special compost mix bag which also had these eggs all over. For last year or so I was wondering why my plants die as soon as flowering season ends. I think this is a strategy to bring unsuspecting customers back to sell more. I live on the other side of the city. Went to that area for my job visit purpose and curiously paid my visit. I just wondered to see their collection which is much cheaper than many other garden centers in my area. I was so pleased that I went again on my next visit within a month. Nice customer service and great atmosphere, would love any garden lover to spend time there. Highly recommended.

Not a good customer service, staff were unfriendly i was followed and watched by a old indian man in plain cloths for abit i wanted help on a item i was hoping to buy so asked a staff member who was munching on crisps in the middle of the shop about a plant and she looked puzzled and just pointed me in the direcrtion of the old indian man who was watching me and she was not bothered at all. Staff did not smile or greet you, and stock was too close together, but i loved the aquarium inside there. Items overpriced, i.e., a small glass of jam 6.00! B&Q is a much better choice, more helpful staff there and reasonabe prices.

It is a quiet and quite nice place. Staff, especially in the garden area, are very attentive and friendly. I only discovered this place last December even though it's 2 miles from my home. The food in the restaurant isn't cheap(hence I can't go often), however the experience of food and the atmosphere is nice. It seems always full around lunchtime. Definitely recommended it

Just had a superb bite in the Garden centres restaurant... are you kidding me... table service ... at these prices. Just unbelievable value, great service .... and for London makes it even more impressive! Well done 👏

Such a lovely place with lots of different things inside. The fish section is huge. The Christmas section is really nice too. There’s a cafe inside which is a little gem - the food and atmosphere is amazing! It’s a great day out in the West Drayton area - recommend it!

Lovely friendly garden center. Came here for a cuppa & cake with our Dementia Care Home. The service in the cafe was excellent. We ordered and were then asked to sit down while the staff in the cafe bought our order to us in 6 trays of 12 tea & coffee and 12 big slabs of delicious cake to our table for us. A great selection of different cakes and scones, various filled sandwiches and a good selection of hot food to order although the menu was not vast. Prices vary but good quality and portions. Toilets available, also a disabled toilet which were all clean and tidy. There was a good sale of Christmas items at discounted prices and a lovely selection of indoor plants. We didn't go into the plant area as it was outside and it was to cold to take our residents out but there seemed to be a good selection out there as well which we could see through the window. All in all a lovely little place for a leisurely cuppa and a wander for an hour or so.

Free parking available. Easy access. A great variety of products. Great prices. Very very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend to visit this garden centre.

Superb garden centre bursting with stock. Great plants, staff are friendly and helpful and the cafe is good. The older guy outside is really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Definitely my favourite garden centre now!

Absolutely delighted with the service I have received from Paresh and Ansell Garden Centre today. He went out of his way to assist me with my telephone order and was so helpful and friendly. I will certainly use this fabulous garden centre in the future. Addendum - delivery of stunning roses made today by equally friendly/helpful staff. Fabulous plants at a great price. Established good quality plants trees and shrubs at reasonable prices...hard to find scruffy entrance though

The family that runs this business is so polite and helpful, as are the staff they employ. They are very knowledgeable, and always available when you need assistance on the shop floor. I can't speak highly enough of their customer service. I have been going here for years and would highly recommend Ansell's.

We come to the maidenhead aquatics here as its really good. The kids can also feed coi carp and sting rays The cafe is absolutely lovely, and if you love seafood, there is a seafood hut in the car park that sells amazing food! It's definitely worth a visit!

Had everything I needed at a decent price.. was quite squashed so had to be very careful with my little daughter.. afraid she would bump into something. Plus point was the big pond that had many Koi Fishes which you can feed.. kept my daughter entertained for while

Knowledgeable and helpful staff. First visit to this garden centre, it was so worth the added journey. We stopped for lunch in there cafe which was reasonable priced and decent portions. Did not go into aquarium section but looked impressive. Definitely would go back again and highly recommend.

This garden centre is an absolute must. A great find. Adjacent to Heathrow but you'd never know. An amazing array of fabulous quality plants and flowers. A great selection of items with everything you could possibly want. A brilliant restaurant as well. This is a family business and the staff are really caring and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is really nice too. I am so pleased to have discovered this gem of a garden centre

Staff at garden centre were very disrespectful and rather threatening, demanding to see items repeatedly after already being shown they were purchased somewhere else. The staff started getting in my face outside after I took pictures and said I'd be reporting them and got rather aggressive with me when I was trying to create distance and trying to explain it not right how they acted, especially as it was towards me and my friend with her baby. The staff here definitely need to be retrained in how to deal with customers and how to deal properly if they suspect theft, as getting in someone's face and being confrontational isn't the way.

Lovely, lovely place. Simply calming to walk around. Useful garden equipment as well....and unusual and elegant Christmas decorations.

Brilliant place with so much to do, with friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff and a nice cafe for something to eat. Also get your car washed, nothing more to add. Highly recommend a visit.

Great to. See the aquarium shop getting things right. All the fish seemed happy and contented. Clean clear water, and more importantly, subdued lighting. So often one sees stressed fish in bright lighting. But this place cares more for their fish than the customers. It's refreshing to see this. Well done Ansell. I have a degree in Marine Biology, incidentally.

I've lived in West London for 22 years and have only just found Ansell's Garden Centre and what a little gem it is. Massive variety of plants and garden equipment. Staff are very friendly and helpful and their prices are very reasonable. Ample car parking and they have a cafe as well. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff always going above and beyond to help their customers. Fantastic Xmas display as aways every year to suit every budget. Just a really nice family run business. Highly recommend, also a lovely cafe In the back to sit and recharge.
