(Review
is
for
a
music
event).
Location
is
great,
loads
of
cheap
parking
nearby,
and
also
really
close
to
Lime
Street
Stn.
Venue
itself
is
OK-ish.
Quite
a
low
stage
so
if
you're
at
the
back,
you
won't
see
much
unless
it's
a
seated
gig.
Bar
prices
aren't
terrible,
but
not
cheap
either.
The
box
office
opens
at
the
same
time
as
the
main
doors
which
is
a
terrible
idea,
meaning
people
who
were
at
the
front
of
the
queue
have
absolutely
no
chance
of
getting
a
decent
spot.
Pro-tip:
tickets
for
events
at
this
venue
can
also
be
picked
up
from
the
o2
Academy
Box
Office
on
Hotham
Street
which
is
open
8.00am-5.30pm
Mon-Sat
and
only
a
10
minute
walk
away.
Also,
if
it's
raining,
tough.
There
is
a
really
long
corridor
inside
which
could
be
used
for
queuing,
but
this
is
left
empty
-
only
to
become
a
racecourse
once
the
main
doors
are
open.
The
toilets
are
clean
enough,
although
you
do
have
to
use
stairs
to
get
to
them.
There
might
be
lifts
but
I
didn't
see
them.
Staff
were
friendly
enough
(and
the
event
staff
were
very
good,
even
handing
out
free
Ponchos).
I'm
not
sure
if
the
stage
equipment
belonged
to
the
band
(Greta
Van
Fleet)
or
the
venue,
but
the
lighting
was
amazing.
The
sound
mix
wasn't
great,
but
I've
heard
a
lot
worse,
and
it's
always
worse
right
at
the
front.
Still
quite
impressive
though.
I
would
come
to
this
venue
again,
but
I
wish
they'd
sort
out
the
queuing
system.
They
have
the
layout
and
potential
to
make
it
very
customer
friendly,
not
to
mention
two
thousand
people
queuing
outside
next
to
a
main
road
can't
be
safe.
