    8 weeks ago I took a Samsung with a cracked screen and a couple of amazon tablets which 1 needed a new screen and one needed a new charging port. 3 weeks later and not only have we not heard from the Zoo but they haven't even generated a quote yet. But Martin will call me back with a quote. He doesn't. So 3 days later im chasing a quote. Still no quote sorted. By week 4 they have a quote. £70 for the phone, £130 for the tablet with the broken screen and £60 for the tablet with the charging port. So we tell them to go ahead with the work worth doing and forget the tablet with the cracked screen. 2 weeks later still no work has been done. Oh and the quote was wrong. Like really wrong. But Martin will call back with an up to date quote. He never does. Speak to Mike who offers to do all the work at cost. £235. 2 weeks later they have finally fixed the phone and both tablets. But Martin now wants to charge around £300 and says he will refuse to give our items back if we don't pay in full and he has no idea about what Mike has agreed and he can't deal with customers like us right now and needs to go and sit out the back of the shop...... So after we refused to be bullied by Martin, Mike puts the work through at the agreed price of £235. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Martin will try and rip you off and hold your goods to ransom. ***EDIT*** 1 Week later and the back of the phone they repaired is falling off. Doesn't look like its been glued back on properly. So as well as awful service it seems they are unable to make actual repairs too. ***EDIT 2*** 05/10/20 Mike messages to say he will be speak to their specialist phone repairer about the poor work. As of today, 13/10/20, Mike is yet to bother offering any form of communication or offer a resolution to their incompetence. Will update further if they decide to get back to me.

    Fantastic experience, have built my own PC, which wouldn’t load up, took PC in and they looked at it for me right then and there! No waiting around or leave it with us for a week, they were straight on it. Everyone was very polite, knowledgable and helpful, They figured out the problem, and sorted within 2 days! And the price was reasonable too. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

    Took my extremely old desktop PC into Zoo, not expecting it to be repairable after it died while I was using it. Mike detected the problem, sourced a part & repaired it. He phoned to let me know it was running very slowly, which had been an issue for sometime. I asked him to investigate & he was able to fix that too. I now have a PC that runs quickly & smoothly, all for a very reasonable price. All my data has been saved. Delighted. Highly recommend. Very friendly, polite service.

    I took my macbook air into Zoo 3 weeks ago, and asked them to look at my liguid damaged laptop, I noted I would be grateful if they could save the data if it was likely to be lost, to be told to allow them 2-3days. After 5 days I went and retrieved it from them as I had managed to get a slot with Apple at Solihull at this point I was not aware of them even looking at it. Apple advised they would need to send it away so I returned it to Zoo on the monday. I was advised to give them 2-3 days. I called on the following monday (2 weeks after I had first taken it to them) to be told they had it hooked up to their virtual machine trying to backup the data. by the wednesday I thought they should have it backed up but was told they would contact me when it was backed up and "if" there was any chance of a repair? So after contacting "Fix My Broken Mac" in birmingham decided I would give them until the following monday and would go and collect it. I arrived on monday 3 weeks in and asked for my macbook back and was told the SSD was still in the virtual machine and they still hadnt backed up any data or assessed my macbook! VERY POOR" indeed. I took the macbook to FIXMYBROKENMAC and was told to allow 48,-72hrs, however I received a quote later the same day! I am so far very impressed with them and will definitely not be returning to THE ZOO. Not one contact from them over a 3 week period as not acceptable! What a complete waste of 3 weeks. "Fix my broken mac" have fixed my macbook. It took from 1100am on Monday until midday today not even 5 days and my laptop is back up and running, I'm blown away by them! Please see my review on them if you need a Macbook repair. Thanks for taking the time to respond below. But moving forward it may best best to set timescales for your customers reflecting how busy you are as 2-3 weeks may be more appropriate than the 2-3 days quoted to me on each occasion.     I don't often leave reviews but these guys absolutely deserve 5 stars! I managed to spill half a can of sprite over my HP X360 and I was told to go to these guys straight away good thing I did! They fixed the laptop within the day and charged an incredibly reasonable price for the fix. The team were lovely and professional and I will absolutely be taking any further faulty or damaged tec their way in the future! 5 stars for The Zoo, I'd give more if I could! 👌😁

    Daughters laptop had an issue, they did a thorough check and found the issue,but was cost-prohibitive to replace the part.. so no charge.. advising us on replacement. Friendly guys.

    Friendly Staff little bit slow getting back to us with a price for a repair ,it will have been a week tomorrow thought we would have had a price before now. But the guy in the shop was very friendly, helpful would recommend them.

    my pc was a casualty of a microsoft update, Zoo fixed it, plus added a solid state hard drive & gave me a office alternative. Super bunch of guys, helpful & knowledgeable @ a very reasonable price. they get my vote !
