All
credit
to
Harts
and
John
for
their
customer
service.
They
have
been
quick
to
come
out
and
inspect
the
shed
and
silicone
seal
any
holes
and
gaps.
They
also
sealed
gaps
between
the
roof
and
the
sides
and
left
a
tube
of
silicone
-
if
I
spot
anything.
They
are
also
quite
willing
to
come
out
again
if
necessary
to
rectify
any
problems
(should
they
arise).
They
did
explain
why
there
may
be
visible
day-light
through
the
tongue-grove,
and
this
is
to
allow
for
some
expansion.
Also
the
gap
between
the
roof
and
the
sides
are
present
for
ventilation
in
summer
and
advised
installing
a
vent
if
the
gaps
are
sealed.
Only
time
will
tell
if
there
is
any
condensation
build
up
or
not.

Original
Review:
I
ordered
my
shed
from
Harts
in
2020,
shortly
after
the
first
lockdown.
There
was
a
long
wait
for
the
shed,
but
there
was
a
backlog,
so
I
waited.
I
think
it
arrived
in
October.
My
initial
impressions
of
the
shed
were
good,
it
looked
really
well
built.
However
I
have
come
to
realise,
it’s
probably
one
of
the
WORST
purchases
I
have
ever
made.
With
the
shed
you
get
a
warning
about
condensation
and
to
keep
the
shed
aired.
I’ve
had
sheds
in
the
past,
and
never
had
such
warnings.
But
despite
trying
to
open
the
shed
as
often
as
I
could,
come
January/February,
there
was
mould
on
the
inside.
Great.
But
in
my
opinion
I
don’t
believe
this
is
anything
to
do
with
me
not
opening
the
shed
up
often
enough,
it
think
it’s
the
poor
design
and
quality
of
the
shed.
I’ve
had
sheds
in
the
past
-
never
had
problems
with
mould
and
the
shed
would
be
closed
all
winter.
Spoke
to
others,
no
problems
with
mould
in
their
sheds
over
winter.
I
think
the
problem
is
the
fact
the
shed
is
not
well
sealed.
I
think
it
lets
moist
air
in
or
it’s
letting
in
rain
somewhere!
The
roof
has
an
overhang,
with
about
a
centimetre
gap.
The
timber
itself
is
low
quality
with
hundreds
of
knots
in
it,
some
of
which
were
not
filled
in
by
the
fitters.
The
tongue
and
grooves
of
the
boards
themselves
do
not
fit
tight
together!
In
summer
this
is
apparent,
as
you
can
see
daylight
through
the
gaps!
If
daylight
can
get
in,
so
can
moist
damp
air
and
possibly
rain.
In
summary:
the
shed
looks
great,
but
it’s
poor
quality
timber,
poorly
fitted
together,
and
a
waste
of
£550
that
I
spent.
