I went to Animaltastic in Henlow to purchase a Tortoise for my partner. I don’t know much about them and the staff in there were amazing! So so helpful, really knowledgeable and were so patient! I purchased the Tortoise and a full enclosure from them and go back regularly for all supplies! Great stock of items and once again amazing staff!

Always love visiting here. Always end up leaving with a tarantula or two. 😆 Animals are all well looked after. Staff always helpful and give advice about housing and care.

Best place to go in Hertfordshire for buying live (slightly more) exotic pets such as birds (budgies, canarys, finches, parrots etc), reptiles (lizards, tortoises, snakes etc) and rodents (hamsters, rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs etc) and all accessories to go with each pet. Staff are also knowledgeable of each animal and give good advice on care and what is best for each pet.

Highly recommended! Great selection of healthy happy animals and friendly knowledgeable staff. Came in with my daughter to ask about keeping a dwarf hamster and Becky was super helpful and spent lots of time with us sharing proper advice on care and appropriate-sized housing (unlike some well-known pet superstores who are just in a rush to sell you anything with minimal checks). My daughter got to have a go at handling one of the adorable Winter Whites and we will be back soon once the set up is ready so she can choose her new pet! 😁

When into store today just to have a look and get a few bits for my two rat boys (1 year and 4 months old) and spoke to a lovely lady called Emma. She was so wonderful and I ended up getting two more 16 week old baby boys that I have called salt and pepper. Emma was so amazing and is an asset to them. Great customer service and when I went to pick them up a few hours later she remembered me straight away made the whole experience. Thank you so much Emma

Been visiting this shop for a long while now. Staff are very helpful and informative and I also just like looking at the different animals. Lovely cafe next door too

I remember when it was the Coy Carp and was taken over. Excellent place for all types of fish - tropical or marine. My son purchases his marine and corals from here. The staff are very knolawgable and offer a lot of ideas and help for the people starting out in the fish world. Did not look at all the other animals there but a must fir all interested I fish.

Popped in today to drop off some baby rat snakes, ended up leaving with a milk snake!!😂 Store was in excellent condition all the cages were clean and clear well looked after, all the animals were healthy. Staff were super friendly and happy to have a chat. Could not recommend more!!

Well stocked pet shop. And when we eventually found a member of staff they were very helpful. However the problem was that it was really difficult to find a member of staff. There was a queue at the till and we needed help with products and there were no staff to be seen. It was also disappointing that the host store didnt seem to have any disabled parking facilities so my father had to struggle with his walker on gravel

The staff here cannot do enough to get you what you want. I’ve fed back and seen the feedback influence stock within weeks. They have a surprisingly diverse stock for a relatively small store and can get more in if they don’t currently have it on the shelves. Very knowledgable and invaluable resource less than 5 miles from my home!

Super staff giving excellent advice when buying our hamster about cages and accessories. We bought a brilliant cage as well from here. Our hamster seems very friendly and healthy. We will definitely back to get more hamster supplies.

It has a huge variety of pets and pets food. Their aquatic range is simply incredible. They also have a nice little cafe where you can have some coffee, toast and dessert.

Love this place!! As a beginner, I got told a good few important info. They look after their animals however I will always never agree with how stores keep rabbit. Personal opinion, but generally much better than the rest. They literally have everything you need as a pet owner or a 2st time pet owner. Top quality products, with top quality staff

We got a little Bearded dragon from here at the weekend after many discussions with Jordan about what would be the best pet for us and about all of their requirements in person and via Facebook. I found Jordan to be very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. All of the animals appeared to be happy and healthy and our new little addition is in tiptop shape. I especially liked their requirements to ensure the pets welfare needs will be met by the new owners. Would definitely recommend this shop. Even though they are busy they still take the time to talk to you.

Lovely shop, staff are very friendly and allowed our little one to watch feed time. Animal enclosures are clean and animals are well cared for. Good stock of pet products, dog, cat, small animal, bird and reptiles.

Reptiles shop it's ok. Lots of stuff but not a lot reptiles. Staff are very rude (girls) and racist. Fish shop amazing staff is great.

This is a great aquatic shop, with lots to see for all the family. Loads of different types of fish and all the equipment to get set up and running. Staff are very friendly and approachable. Also incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommended for a browse 😎

Friendly and helpful staff. Quite busy and crowded on a Sunday afternoon. A steep ramp, gravel paths, and narrow aisles were difficult to manage with a wheelchair.

A little difficult to find but well worth it! The centre was a lot bigger than expected with a lovely area to view the animals. The staff were friendly and gave fantastic advise! A lot of parking outside too
