Beautiful bend in the river. Excellent for beginning a kayaking trip (check the regulations first). Would make a superb wild-swimming spot, especially if steps were added to the bank. Moderate waterflow in & out, but slow moving water without weeds in an area as large as an Olympic pool. Reeds and lilies, but no evident underwater weeds. Grassy Children's playarea nearby.

A great mooring if you have kids, there are newly erected zip wires next to the moorings, and if you follow the path around to the right you'll arrive at the very large adventure playground, visitor centre and cafe. Bike hire also possible.

Great walk next to Nene River

Excellent mooring. Little shallow at the downstream end but we managed it in a 40 tonne widebeam so it's doable. Brilliant access to Stanwick lakes with lots to do for the kids, especially the zip wires which are right by the mooring.

Great day out. Great park. The only issue is they are not allowing picnics in the top car park, obviously caused by some fools who spoil it for everyone. Leave no trace!

Playground is brilliant for kids and lots of pretty walks. And a little cafe for food and drinks or you can bring your own picnic or even bbq area

Great place to stay! Zip wires near by which are great fun. Not too far a walk to stanwick lakes cafe for breakfast if you like too
