Never have i been so disgusted with the rudeness of staff. I use this branch regularly and cannot fault them at all. But on my recent visit to the store i found one member of staff to be very rude. I have made a complaint to head office but have not heard anything back. The member in question had long dark hair and had an accent. Not only was she rude to me she was rude to other staff members. Think you need to think over the choices of staff you take on or at least make sure they have been trained in how to speak to customers. I will not be using your branch again that's for sure

Visited the Sketchers store at Meryhill today. The sales guys were very helpful and understood our needs. They made some great recommendations and we walked out with both shoes and socks. The sales guy was called Dave, top bloke the best store in the centre. D&V

Bada$$ slip on pump cost £70 but well comfortable almost like your not wearing shoes/pumps🤑 brill for my job

Went to browse and staff were very welcoming and friendly. A worker named Hannah was very patient and listened carefully to my wishes- evidently very competent and helpful. Store location is easy to find

Had a great afternoon at Sketchers Merry Hill. I was served by an extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable Dave Jones. He understood what I needed, I was happy to purchase two pairs of trainers. Unfortunately, experience was tainted by a rude female sales assistant as I was leaving.

Was in the Skechers store today and a lovely lady named Joanne was happy to help me find the right shoes. She was very patient thoughtful and didn’t mind going to the stockroom a couple of times to make sure I had the right size. With wonderful service like that I bought two pairs. Wish everybody was so helpful like Joanne when I go shopping!

The service we received in this shop was exceptional. The young lady who served us could not have been more helpful. She was friendly but very professional. And knew the stock very thoroughly. My wife is disabled and struggles to get shoes to fit as her feet are quite swollen. But this young lady recognised it straight away. Nothing was too much trouble for this young lady. She made plenty of sensible suggestions and didn't stop until my wife had a pair of Sketchers that fitted well. We were both so impressed with the service. There are too few people like this in the retail sector. She is a credit to Sketchers and to herself. Thank you.

Great service and lovely staff. Visited to buy a gift for my wife, the salespeople were very helpful and invested into explaining and demonstrating products and technologies. Will definitely revisit for more.

Today I visit one of your branches in merry hill shopping centre and I was served but lovely European lady with long dark hair . Very patient and helpful . Helped me to found my perfect shoes which I absolutely love they are so comfortable . Definitely will come back again for more in future . Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Had a great experience at sketchers, a special mention to sorela who was fantastic she help me choose some lovely sketchers for work. I’m on my feet for 13 hours a day and she really chose well, the trainers are so comfortable it’s like I’m walking on air honestly! Fantastic customer service would recommend :)

I took my dad yesterday to buy some shoes. We were served by Ella who was so helpful, patient and kind. We were there for over an hour and she was lovely. Thank you xx

Popped into sketchers Merry Hill today to buy the wife some trainers, we were greeted by assistant Dave Jones who from start to finish was absolutely awesome, we ended up buying two pairs☺️ thanks Dave.

Nice shop with plenty of choices for everyone. Staff are helpful and friendly. The problem with have with Sketchers is they don't do many all leather trainers. There great if your going abroad but in the wet UK they can cause some problems even If they are extremely comfortable.

Lovely staff but made to ask if you need help which is great once or twice, but a bit overkill ,not their fault over zealous training manuals, but other than that, a good shopping experience, and got what i wanted, just need the staff to be allowed to serve naturally as themselves instead of pressured training to up sell,

Went to purchase a pair of walking boots for my partners birthday, was served by a really nice young lady called Sorela, she was extremely helpful, explained the difference between the different soles, arches, materials etc, very knowledgeable on the goods sold in shop. My partner is very happy with his boots too, I will definitely be purchasing more. It's been a while since I have received such good service in retail. If your looking for comfortable foot wear and a fantastic service I would definitely recommend this shop and Sorela the lady that served me. A very happy customers 👍👍

My wife and I were provided with professional, efficient, sensitive and authentically friendly service by Joanne on Monday just gone. She was absolutely outstanding. Thank you Joanne you could not have been more helpful in supporting my wife to choose the right pair of shoes. On another note, the standards of visual merchandising and cleanliness within the store warmed the cockles of an old retailer’s heart. We’ll be back.

As shoe shops go, I have to say I was very very impressed. Knowledgeable and attentive staff where nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic service, great shoes and a clean and tidy shop. Coupled with the generous blue light card discount Sketchers Merry Hill comes very highly recommend!

My mum bought trainers & a pair of slippers, the assistant was really helpful nothing was to much trouble & she was very knowledgeable on the different types of trainers. Would highly recommend.

The lady who served my husband was very knowledgeable, she understood his need for arch support and explained which shoes would work for him. She knew her stock, just by looking at the the pairs he chose to try on she found them in the back, didn't need to take them with her to match them. The store was clean, tidy and really well laid out. He was so impressed that my husband has said he now won't go anywhere else, no loud obnoxious music and no groups of kids like many sports shops.

Massive shout out to the staff here. Sorry didnt get the young lady's name. After going to every sports shop in the vacinity and being told in every shop 'never heard of that' (anti pronation - common problem) this young lady knew EXACTLY what i was talking about and gave me great options. Other stores can learn from how information is knowledge and a sale! Thanks Skechers Merry Hill

Stuart the manager was brilliant. I spoke to him on the phone beforehand and he remembered as soon as we walked in and dealt with us. Understood our problem and sorted us out quickly with a replacement which we were more than happy with. Brilliant customer service.

They have all the styles in the shop and the staff were excellent in helping me choose the correct fit.

I visited here to get some lightweight shoes for holiday abroad. Found some I liked then waited over 10 mins for them trying to find my size. In the end I just walked out.

I had used Sketchers before as I have MS and wear a drop foot splint. Stuart the manager had helped me last time, and this time I knew I needed his help again as my new bespoke splint would require extra wide footwear. He knew exactly which pairs of trainers to bring me, made sure they fitted correctly with the splint, was knowledgeable, courteous and patient. Every customer was greeted, all staff were polite to customers and I was amazed at how Stuart knew what I needed. For both non able and able bodied people I would definitely recommend this brand. They are light, adaptable and the range of styles and colours are amazing. Thankyou Stuart from a very satisfied customer. I would recommend you give Sketchers a try, you'll be suprised 😃

Sunday 5th June - Was approached by a young girl (don’t know her name, just that she’s doing graphic design at Uni), she must have spent an hour helping me! Her knowledge on the products were outstanding, a true credit to the store and has the potential to be an ambassador for the company given the opportunity. Such a positive shopping experience, would definitely go back again!

All staff were extremely helpful, really appreciated the time they took to ensure I bought the best product for my needs.

Went in the Skechers shop in Merryhill today looking for some trainers and casual shoe. I was served by Joanne. She was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. She was very knowledgeable about the products and extremely pleasant. I came away with two pairs of shoes. It was a pleasure to go into a shop where all of the staff there were helpful especially Joanne.

Great shop.. but please let people browse for 10 mins or so instead of jumping in straight away.. it makes for better relaxing shopping experience

Very helpful and informed staff. A great range of footwear and my daughter had plenty of time to try on as many as she wished. A clean and bright shop and we both left smiling which is sometimes a miracle in itself!!!

Went into Skechers at Merry Hill with my mother today to purchase some slippers. Joanne served us and was just the loveliest most helpful person! Took time with us to find the right fit and then helped us purchase some socks. The Store Manager was great too, really friendly. Customer service is so important and its great to find a company who has it spot on!!
